Blows my mind how some people like you are able to find so many. I've been hunting for years and have only found 1 ever (one time even opened 6 brand new cases at a Dollar Tree, pegged them for them, not only zero soup, not a single regular t-hunt). It's like I always get there just after someone else has hit it. That's an awesome collection, congrats!
I feel your pain, it’s beyond me how some people find so many so easy…I’ve come across tens of thousands of cars at this point, Or most likely more and still come up empty handed. I’ve only found the Matchbox chase twice, the bronco , at the same store. I’ve come to realize a while back it’s not worth the stress or aggravation, just hunt for the fun of it. Best of luck, hope you find one soon!
I live and work in the Houston, Texas area, been collecting diecast for decades, hunted all over this end of the state, and I've never had that many STH 's. I know guys that find them frequently, but not me. Last year I only had one, the Glory Chaser, and it was the last part of November when I found it. A few years ago, I had a hot streak and found four in about 10 days. Other years I find two or three throughout the year. Found a Scooby Doo Mystery Machine in a Walgreens one day. Sold 3 STH and a couple of HW chases to another collector, willing to come across town in terrible pouring rain storms, to meet up with me and give me $$, because that day was the only day that fit both our schedules. Traded supers for other supers, had a few of the super and regular TH back when it would be the same casting, found two of the Cougar STH in a dump bin cause I was in the store not too long after they put it out. Found 3 id chase TV bats in another dump bin, another store, amazingly all in great condition. Found an id chase 69 Camaro in a Kroger, in a bin I'd already looked in, then a guy and his kids had looked in too; if they saw it they didn't know what it was. Found a Honda STH a couple years ago (the gray one with different color wheels on front and rear)(don't hate cause I don't know what model, I know trucks, not JDM). I'd gone through the pegs but was starting to look at the blue bin below the pegs. Saw that Honda and realized it was a STH, so i grabbed it real quick, as two other people were looking at the bin. Most of the older TH's and STH 's in my personal collection, I got in trades. A few i found in stores, two of those are the '59 Impala from 1999 and the Go Kart from 2000 or 2001. Pearl white one, gold wheels. In a store late, check toys before leaving, stocker left a case on the shelf, started stocking another case and left on lunch break. Found two of the Go Karts, one in each case. Seen a guy cut open a case and get the '67 GTO TH out, faster than it takes to tell you. Hunted for that GTO for several years, finally got it in a trade with a guy who i knew had a huge collection and a lot of Hunts. I had a '57 Chevy that he had not been able to find, and he wanted it BAD. So I asked him what he would trade for it, and lo and behold, he has the Goat and he will trade straight across. Lots of stories, from over 30 years of collecting and hunting in SETX.....
Nice vid. I like when people can appreciate finding STH's. You can tell who the true collectors are by their reactions.... 👍 And on a fun note, after almost exactly three years, I finally found another STH. The 2024 B case Camaro. And then, three weeks later, I found another one. Awesome... 🤘
Ive found all of one STH in the wild and feel so lucky to have found it on the top of a fresh dump bin. Hot Wheels Collecting is cut throat in my city but Ive gotten lucky a couple times.
It's the same thing here in my area also. I've been collecting for about 3 years and I have only found 4 STH and all of them from this year. Quite a few regular treasure hunts but the supers are so hard to find.
I would like to share a story of my own STH find. I used to work security at a grocery store, so I had to be there early mornings. I kept note of when the Hot Wheels boxes would show up, and one fateful day there was 8 boxes delivered. None had been opened yet, and I waited patiently for my chance to crack them open. Sure enough in one of them was a STH Mustang which I snagged quickly. Not even 5 minutes later, here comes a collector looking for the Mustang, not knowing it was in my shopping cart right in front of him. The look on his face when he couldn't find it was priceless. Yes I was a horrible person that day, but trying to beat out a collector is a win for me.
I've found several over past couple years, but the resellers here in Spokane have taken the fun outta the " hunt" they hover at the stores open boxes at Walmart when they bring the pallets out for night crew. My biggest beef with them is the mess they make of the area. Moved on from 64th buying other than team transports and the boxed sets. Moved to 24th and 18th scale vintage drag race cars. 1320 acme 100$-300$ range.
I really wish I find a super one day been doing this past few years and supers just never last longer than a day on the pegs for the most and I just cant always go to the store but holding thumbs.
I’m in SoCal, most resellers/Frankandsons vendors usually have most of all the HotWheels. You’re better off staying home , no wear and tear on your vehicle, save gas and watch Lamley Group on TH-cam
Cool vids. Lamely rummaging through cases. never thought I'd see the day. You must be doing something that I'm not, cuz I've been in the hobby longer than you, and I only have about 20-25. Mostly from 2015 down. My 2019-2025 only has 10, which is next to nothing if you think how many cases were released between those years. To be fair where I live you don't find Dump bins nor shippers so I really have to hunt my ass off. That J case had a lot of great cars. 60s Batmobile was you STH. Congrats on finding two. I would have taken all the chrome cars and a couple Cloak and Daggers, because you know I would.😉
lucky, sometimes i hate watching vids cause sth get found so easily since my local stores, the employees save the th/sth for their friends who turn around and sell them.
Wish I lived in America so many stocked pegs it sucks where I live they either empty or all good cars even just the standard mainline are always gone super hard to find good cars around me it sucks
I haven't found a super in years. I still have the first one I ever found which was a short card 2012 S2000 and my most profitable one which was a short card grey 599XX I got 1 mile from my house and sold on eBay for $130
I wish I would have been filming before. The employee at the store slipped the outer box off and that fell that way. I didn’t know it was the Chase until I picked it up. Which you saw in the video.
Bruh you get them for free by Mattel and you still take them all and dont leave a single one for other collectors. Exactly this is just ruining the hobby
I’m in a middle of nowhere city and scabs are bad in store and most good stuff doesn’t even make it onto the pegs before they’re stolen I’ve never seen a single sth in the wild my whole life, kinda sad. Boxes and pallets are already open before employees even bring them onto the floor, it’s like getting left overs even though your there as the pallets are being brought out from the back of house
at this moment i think that im just so unlucky... here in italy its so hard to find sth... bc only a few shops have hot wheels and they are stalked 24/7 by greedy "collectors" that hunt and buy those just to sell them at **** price...
I like how he says the wild…. Yet hes walking to 5-7 boxes stacked waitin for him, im sorry but ive dedicated 3 months of ok drop everything and just find and in 17 stops from 6-7 walmarts, 6-7walgreens/cvs, 3-5 publix NEVER BUT ONCE have i walked up and oh myyy theres 5-6 boxes of hot wheels!! How lucky today!!! Yea right ive had to ask the workers to check the back and pls blah blah blah so this is alllll just 8 to many perfect occasions! You prob have people you pay to call yo when pallets come! And lets not say how many boxes ive opened and the sth got pulled when they were packing the actual hot wheels….. sorry but indont know

Those ninjas out there, man. I wish I had the time to do it.

You have to hunt full time bro to find stuff like this or some content creators plant them. Not saying he is but some do
can we get more hunting vlogs?
I second this!
I’ll see what I can put together. I don’t hunt as much but if I can I will.
First time I see him get excited over a “Oh Look a BatMobile” 😂😂😂

Wow, that was a walk through time, some real blasts from the past. Thanks for collage.🐼👍
Great video! I could watch this on repeat.

Please tell me how you do it. Do you go at certain times? What stores do you go to? Are they usually busy? I need to know so i can get my first TH!

I’m surprised to see the pegs full where you’re at. Last month went to St. George to go hunting and the pegs were empty, was not expecting that.
What a great video 🔥

Amazing finds.
I once found the drift Mustang STH and left it on the pegs thinking ugh it looks so bad. I didn't know it was an STH!!! :O
Kool Kombi is the one I would love to have.

I really like your channel until now. Didn't know you were a case buster. Thought you were a peg hunter.😢

9:00 damn that sucks 😔
I can't even find one super and he finds 2 in one dump bin. Both right next to each other!
Really don't believe he found all of that on the racks at a store, I collected for 5 years and never found a TH or STH on a rack at any store
I NEED JUST ONE R34 GREEN STH. someone can help/sell ?
Cool.
Well share some honey 🍯 😅
