The problem is the name of dish. For example many say they are cooking Alfredo pasta but it is something quite different. They could say it is Alfredo inspired pasta.

@@sandracarli1110 it's all made-up anyway. Unless it's being sold at a restaurant or something, who cares if you incorrectly name a dish.

Done sth. similar before where I just very briefly and gently heated up some (good) canned tomatoes. I also always use a "raw" tomatoe sauce when I make pizza myself.
I prefer the acidity of uncooked (or briefly heated) tomatoes. Tastes more fresh to me.

I love tomato paste and use it a lot in all kinds of things. Although i like this concept, especially on a hot summer day, I have read that tomatoes have more nutritional value when they are cooked a bit and the cellular structure broken up a bit.

Hey Sauce Stache. I love your videos and congrats on losing so much weight! You look really healthy! Keep up the good work!! My problem is, I have acid reflux, so certain things trigger that, one of which (BIG time) is Tomatoes. The thing is, I LOVE pasta with tomato sauce or ANYTHING with tomato sauce. If I eat it, I have to take Pepcid or something, so I just stay away from tomatoes. But I REALLY WANT something that would be a good substitute for that. I've tried red pepper sauce, it's okay, but not great. And I do love Pesto, and Alfredo sauce, and I also tried Carrot sauce which was also pretty tasty....but it ain't Italian tomato sauce!!! I really want to find, and have been searching for, a good tomato substitute that tastes like tomato sauce. Can you do a video on THAT??? What do you SUGGEST???

I just made it with cherry tomatoes, a cube of my aged fermented tofu feta (instead of your tofu cream) and had it with gnocchi, topped with roasted pine nuts and nooch. I´ll never cook my tomato sauce again when tomatoes are in season, I promise. It was so good I couldn´t believe it! Now I´m out of tomatoes and sad 🙂

You can’t have too much garlic! lol. This looks really good, I’m going to give it a try. :). I have grown some roma tomatoes and some little yellow pear tomatoes, along with some fresh basil and LOTS of garlic. I also make my own tofu, so I’m glad you showed it with firm tofu! In the past, I’ve tried making tofu sauces with store bought tofu and it just gets grainy.. so, I’m excited to try this “Cheese”. Sauce!
