I completely agree with this. I have many times tried to just use concealer for spot concealing without using foundation and it never looks quite natural, undetectable whilst providing adequate coverage without having to constantly go back over the same spots with more concealer. One day i tried the nars radiant creamy concealer and was shocked how easily it blended out without looking dry and patchy on the skin, provided full coverage with just one application on each blemish/scar, and genuinely was undetectable on skin.
I just can’t figure out *why* so many people love that Maybelinne concealer. It made my under eyes so dry looking, and emphasized my wrinkles so bad. I’d love to try the Nars pot concealer 🙏🏼. Love your videos!

Agree! Base on experience, my sensitive skin can't tolerate any Maybelline concealers bcos they are drying and has parabens. There are so many drugstore concealer that has much better ingredients.
Same! It looks awful under my eyes. I have yet to find a concealer that doesn't though. I have deep lines already and they are super dry. I just bring my foundation up under my eyes since I don't have dark circles or hyperpigmentation.
The NYX is my favorite too! I have really intense rosacea on my face and with all but the worst flares, this really works! And it is one of the only concealers that doesn't crease or break up or slide around in my (45 year old, dry, crepey) under-eye area. It's light enough you can even just use it to touch up your face if you have a good color match and not worry about using foundation. It's awesome! Total holy grail! Great video Allie! 😊

I just couldn’t get on board with the ELF one. I have very dry skin and something about that one just felt really heavy and drying (even the hydrating one!) the nyx one however, firm fave I absolutely love it!! Do you have collection cosmetics in the US, there’s one from them called the stretch concealer and it’s fantastic!!x
Collection is underrated. I don't live in the UK but we've access to some products from them and they're amazing for the price point. Great ingredients too ☺️
with the elf one, i actually found that using a dry sponge (such as a beauty blender) on top of moisturized skin help with the application a lot, but yes, it's kind of a disaster to blend otherwise.
I love the Nyx one! I've actually stopped using foundation this summer and just use it under the eyes and t zone. Looks so fresh! I've already bought a second one.

I got the NYX concealer after hearing how much you loved it and it is my favourite concealer out of everything I tried! I now own 3 shades of it 🤭 I also enjoyed the ELF hydrating camo concealer, but found it a little too full coverage for my every day preference and it emphasised fine lines sometimes. The Maybelline Age Rewind was too drying for me!
Lancome Teint Idole concealer is amazing for my crinkly aging under eye area! Used to be the Nars Creamy, but the Lancome one goes on thinner and doesn't crease as much as Nars one. Still love Nars for around the face and for sculpting. Thank you for another great video!

Hi Allie! I also LOVE the maybelline concealer but I like to take the sponge off so that it doesn't become a breeding ground for bacteria (in this way it becomes similar to the nars dispenser!). Hope this helps! 💛
I use the NYX concealer as a foundation, bronzer, and concealer. I got the lightest shade, fair, for brightening the under eye. I use shade 2 as my foundation and I got medium for my bronzer, but I'll be getting the shade darker. I want a cooler toned bronzer.

The only one I really think you should try is makeup revolution. It duos the Charlotte Tilbury wand concealer. I was SHOCKED at how good the makeup revolution is. I’m almost 50 and it does not sink into lines under eyes. I’ve actually on my 2nd wand. The formula is incredible!
I must agree with you that the Elf 16 HR Camo Concealer is very drying. However, I have found a most perfect use for it, as eyelid primer. I've always had very oily lids where every eye makeup either transfers or in the case of shadows, it separates. Since applying Elf 16 HR Camo Conceler on my eyelids, I have absolutely no worries and don't even need to touch up. I wear the fair cool shade. I will try the hydrating formula for under eyes. if u‘re searching for an excellent concealer thats quite cheap, vegan and looks very natural try the catrice liquid camouflage- i‘ve been using ot for YEARS. I even use it as foundation sometimes. Especially if you DAB it with your finger ( don’t rub it! ) and let it set for a quick moment and then blend it it looks so gorgeous. Unfortunately they do not have tons of shades but if u find one that fits u its literally a gem- i‘ve told a lot of my friends and they all love it sm.
Considering my 2 absolute favs were mentioned (elf hydrating and maybelline rewind) i think I’m going to have to pick up the NYX one next since I’m almost positive I can trust you on this 😊
The Ulta Beauty Youthful Glow Concealer is so good! Amazing for dry under eyes, creamy, blends beautifully(their full coverage concealer bomb diggity too). Dior backstage concealer does not crease and very hydrating. Makeup Forever Ultra HD is another very reliable one for me as well.
my favorite concealer has always been the collection lasting perfection! it's just perfect! It works great as an eyeshadow base, and never creases under the eyes! Since buying my first one in 2017, I've probably used 2-3 a year! I can't get them in Norway, so whenever I'm in England I buy A LOT of them!
I have tried 5 oot of these 6 and i love them all especially both Nars concealers, i also like Huda Beauty concealer, ABH, Lancome teint idole but i wish they made some lighter shade and I've been using the new Vieve concealer for the past 4 days and it's really good 👍
I have to agree about NARS and their complexion products. My favorite concealer has to be the Too Faced Multi-Use Concealer. They cover the skin beautifully. They don't make the under eye or skin look creasy or caked. They've been a go to for years and continue to be one of my loves.
Rimmel shade adapting concealer & Maybelline fit me are everyday staples. I love them so much more than Armani luminous silk one. I also mix Tarte shape tape with ELF hydrating camo for a moisturized full coverage look
The pump on NYX is my least favorite thing about it. I wish it was a doefoot. It replaced my Elf one though & I've been thinking I need to revisit. I used the Elf one the entire lockdown & loved the minimal effort to get a natural look. I used to love the Maybelline but I feel like the formula changed & it's too dry for me now. Just ordered the "newer" Flex Concealer from Honest Beauty. Looking forward to trying that. My next favorite is One Size from Patrick Starr.
I enjoy most of the concealers you mentioned, Allie. I also like Clinique Even Better concealer and TooFaced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-use Concealer. And for drugstore: L’oreal Infallible Full Wear Concealer
My current high end concealers are the new Huda Beauty release and the Lancôme tient idole concealer. I totally agree with you about NYX serum concealer, the Mabelline concealer. I also like the Tarte creamy concealer for fuller coverage. As for the NARS, I like the creamy one but the soft matte is not the right shade and just a little too matte even in summer when I’m more oily.
Absolutely love your lipstick! You are as beautiful as ever. Your technique of using a setting spray and then a sponge to blend has been great on my face. I use the moist sponge to work in concealer, also. Its the only thing that works for me (dry under eye) then I set with the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Powder. My holy grail ☺️. Works with any concealer on me. I have a ridiculous number of different concealers because I thought the product was the problem, but apparently it was technique. Thank you Allie! Oh, and I love your makeup storage boxes/bags, too 💕
Those 3 drugstore concealers are the bestttt. Totally worth the hype. I also love the Too Faced concealer. You get a lot of product for your money (even tho they increased the price)
I'm glad you do these videos I enjoy watching them. I've been trying to find a good Concealer for ages now, I've got quite dark circles 🙄 and just cant fully cover them with any Concealer that I've bought. So far I've tried Maybelline age rewind (didn't cover at all), NYX can't stop Wont stop, Revolution ILR (which is the worst, creased straight away, looks absolutely awful), L'Oréal Infallible (really dry, doesn't fully cover) and Rimmel Multi-tasker (really dry). I'll have to try the NYX and the Elf Hydrating Camo concealer. Maybe one of those might work for me
I use the eraser and love it. I’m 49 and it doesn’t cake. I love how it brightens and it blends well with Lancôme. I actually like the applicator to apply but blend with finger, brush, or sponge.
I love all of these concealers! I would only add the Kosas Revealer Concealer- works magic for my dry under eyes and is perfect for everyday! Thanks for a great video :)
I WISH I could get this to not go bad. I live in a hotter climate and it goes bad so fast. I even sent them an email begging them to use proper/stronger preservatives so those of us in hotter climates can use it too!!!

My face skin has been very difficult to deal with and I have tried so many, so many eye and face primers, foundations, concealers, etc. Concealers I would love to be able to use; however, none of them ever work on how I thought it was supposed to. So, for me, with you being who you are and the skin issues that you also had to deal with, I would appreciate to see a video with how you apply them. I've been using the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye for years, and I haven't found anything else that comes close to its coverage. I have very dark under eye circles, and they show through almost all the ones you showed, except the NARS pot. But whereas the NARS will last me until lunch, the IT Cosmetics lasts all day. It can be too thick for covering blemishes, but it is incredible for under the eye.
Thank you!! You need to try Estée Lauder double wear original concealer. I have been using for years and it hasn’t failed me. It doesn’t emphasize the lines too!
Confession time. I’ve been into makeup for years, and do my makeup 6 days out of 7 days a week, but I still don’t know how to use concealer apparently because although I have everything from drugstore to high end, elf to NYX, to NARS etc. it always ends up looking cakey up close. I could so use a good tutorial on prep and application. Because I just skip it 9 times out of 10 because I hate the final product when I’m done. I have mature skin but no dark under eyes. Help! ( I have every single one of those concealers and still can’t get it right!)
Nars radiant is my personal favorite. I have a hard time finding the right tone for my skin since I don't wear foundation regularly. But they have the perfect match and I love the formula/coverage of it. I keep meaning to grab the NYX one since you love it so much lol. It's on my radar. 😂❤️
Great video! I’m wondering what shade do you use in the Nars pot to match your skin tone? My daughter is the same skin tone as you but we’ve had trouble matching her with Nars. So many are too pink or too yellow.

I'm same shade as allie and in very very neutral undertone. I use the shade Chantilly in the Nars soft matte. It's my favorite ever for spot concealing. I think usually Allie uses a hint darker shade tho so maybe if you can go into Sephora or I think Ulta might carry nars now too and swatch them to be sure.
Now in the summertime I reuse the Touche Eclat from YSL. It's a lightweight formula. I can not wear a thick formula under my eyes. My Nyx is great for the rest of the year, when I'm not tanned.
Allie, I know this is a year old, but I no longer hear or see what color you use. I always wear the same color as you, and that helps me tremendously, especially ordering online. Hey I’m 22, honestly I’m somewhat new to makeup and stuff and don’t really wear much besides concealer and colour corrector underneath . I’ve used a few concealers in the past but I always get the shade wrong or it just ends up cakey. I use concealer mainly for my dark circles and I’m quite self conscious about them. Concealers I’ve tried include the Kosas one, rare beauty, fenty and maybeline fit me( my current favourite). But honestly I just need some recommendations for concealers which look natural but have a good amount of coverage. I’m thinking of trying this nyx serum one. Also great video 😊

@@sherihays4559 It guess I shouldn’t say tinted moisturizer, but I use the Bite Beauty Micellar foundation which has light coverage. Adding the concealer helps with shade matching and adds some extra coverage too!
I swear by the Kokie Be Bright concealer! The lightest shades are actually light peachy enough for my skintone, amazing formula and at $6 you literally cannot beat it!

Neutrogena Radiant Cream Concealer.....it so good and also so underrated.....in my opinion it's somewhat of a drugstore hidden gem .....it's 🔥🔥

I have tried 5 oot of these 6 and i love them all especially both Nars concealers, i also like Huda Beauty concealer, ABH, Lancome teint idole but i wish they made some lighter shade and I've been using the new Vieve concealer for the past 4 days and it's really good 👍

I have to agree about NARS and their complexion products. My favorite concealer has to be the Too Faced Multi-Use Concealer. They cover the skin beautifully. They don't make the under eye or skin look creasy or caked. They've been a go to for years and continue to be one of my loves.
Rimmel shade adapting concealer & Maybelline fit me are everyday staples. I love them so much more than Armani luminous silk one.
I also mix Tarte shape tape with ELF hydrating camo for a moisturized full coverage look
The pump on NYX is my least favorite thing about it. I wish it was a doefoot. It replaced my Elf one though & I've been thinking I need to revisit.
I used the Elf one the entire lockdown & loved the minimal effort to get a natural look.
I used to love the Maybelline but I feel like the formula changed & it's too dry for me now.
Just ordered the "newer" Flex Concealer from Honest Beauty. Looking forward to trying that.
My next favorite is One Size from Patrick Starr.
I'm still loving the NYX concealer serum. It looks great on my skin at age 60.
I enjoy most of the concealers you mentioned, Allie. I also like Clinique Even Better concealer and TooFaced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-use Concealer. And for drugstore: L’oreal Infallible Full Wear Concealer
My current high end concealers are the new Huda Beauty release and the Lancôme tient idole concealer. I totally agree with you about NYX serum concealer, the Mabelline concealer. I also like the Tarte creamy concealer for fuller coverage. As for the NARS, I like the creamy one but the soft matte is not the right shade and just a little too matte even in summer when I’m more oily.
Absolutely love your lipstick! You are as beautiful as ever. Your technique of using a setting spray and then a sponge to blend has been great on my face. I use the moist sponge to work in concealer, also. Its the only thing that works for me (dry under eye) then I set with the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Powder. My holy grail ☺️. Works with any concealer on me. I have a ridiculous number of different concealers because I thought the product was the problem, but apparently it was technique. Thank you Allie! Oh, and I love your makeup storage boxes/bags, too 💕

Those 3 drugstore concealers are the bestttt. Totally worth the hype. I also love the Too Faced concealer. You get a lot of product for your money (even tho they increased the price)
Im loving the Bobbi brown concealer (the stick form). It’s so easy to use and has great coverage.

I just tried the Nyx Derek concealer. It honestly is the only concealer that doesn’t look heavy under my eyes.

I'm glad you do these videos I enjoy watching them. I've been trying to find a good Concealer for ages now, I've got quite dark circles 🙄 and just cant fully cover them with any Concealer that I've bought. So far I've tried Maybelline age rewind (didn't cover at all), NYX can't stop Wont stop, Revolution ILR (which is the worst, creased straight away, looks absolutely awful), L'Oréal Infallible (really dry, doesn't fully cover) and Rimmel Multi-tasker (really dry). I'll have to try the NYX and the Elf Hydrating Camo concealer. Maybe one of those might work for me
Nars, nyx and maybelline are my favorites too!!! I suggest dior forever skin correct concealer is a masterpiece!!!
Have you tried new Huda concealer and lancome teint idole? I love the lancome but Iv heard the Huda is really good too
I use the eraser and love it. I’m 49 and it doesn’t cake. I love how it brightens and it blends well with Lancôme. I actually like the applicator to apply but blend with finger, brush, or sponge.

Hi, have you ever made a video on how you use concealers? I would actually love to see that. My face skin has been very difficult to deal with and I have tried so many, so many eye and face primers, foundations, concealers, etc. Concealers I would love to be able to use; however, none of them ever work on how I thought it was supposed to. So, for me, with you being who you are and the skin issues that you also had to deal with, I would appreciate to see a video with how you apply them. I've been using the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye for years, and I haven't found anything else that comes close to its coverage. I have very dark under eye circles, and they show through almost all the ones you showed, except the NARS pot. But whereas the NARS will last me until lunch, the IT Cosmetics lasts all day. It can be too thick for covering blemishes, but it is incredible for under the eye.

Confession time. I’ve been into makeup for years, and do my makeup 6 days out of 7 days a week, but I still don’t know how to use concealer apparently because although I have everything from drugstore to high end, elf to NYX, to NARS etc. it always ends up looking cakey up close. I could so use a good tutorial on prep and application. Because I just skip it 9 times out of 10 because I hate the final product when I’m done. I have mature skin but no dark under eyes. Help! ( I have every single one of those concealers and still can’t get it right!)
Nars radiant is my personal favorite. I have a hard time finding the right tone for my skin since I don't wear foundation regularly. But they have the perfect match and I love the formula/coverage of it. I keep meaning to grab the NYX one since you love it so much lol. It's on my radar. 😂❤️

Great video! I’m wondering what shade do you use in the Nars pot to match your skin tone? My daughter is the same skin tone as you but we’ve had trouble matching her with Nars. So many are too pink or too yellow.

I'm same shade as allie and in very very neutral undertone. I use the shade Chantilly in the Nars soft matte. It's my favorite ever for spot concealing. I think usually Allie uses a hint darker shade tho so maybe if you can go into Sephora or I think Ulta might carry nars now too and swatch them to be sure.
Now in the summertime I reuse the Touche Eclat from YSL. It's a lightweight formula. I can not wear a thick formula under my eyes. My Nyx is great for the rest of the year, when I'm not tanned.
I want to try the nyx but I really don’t like the packaging. I love a doe foot, even with foundations

Hey I’m 22, honestly I’m somewhat new to makeup and stuff and don’t really wear much besides concealer and colour corrector underneath . I’ve used a few concealers in the past but I always get the shade wrong or it just ends up cakey. I use concealer mainly for my dark circles and I’m quite self conscious about them. Concealers I’ve tried include the Kosas one, rare beauty, fenty and maybeline fit me( my current favourite). But honestly I just need some recommendations for concealers which look natural but have a good amount of coverage. I’m thinking of trying this nyx serum one. Also great video 😊

I’ve been using the NYX concealer to add coverage to my tinted moisturizer for everyday and it works amazingly! I also just repurchased the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer the other day! Absolutely love it!😍😍

@@sherihays4559 It guess I shouldn’t say tinted moisturizer, but I use the Bite Beauty Micellar foundation which has light coverage. Adding the concealer helps with shade matching and adds some extra coverage too!

I swear by the Kokie Be Bright concealer! The lightest shades are actually light peachy enough for my skintone, amazing formula and at $6 you literally cannot beat it!
