मैंने यह फिल्म रिलीज़ के दूसरे दिन ही देख ली थी । इसकी जितनी भी सराहना की जाए, कम है । मुझे बाद में पता चला कि यह वास्तविक जीवन पर बनी है । प्रेरणा मिली कि किस प्रकार बड़ी गरीबी से निकल कर मनोज शर्मा आई पी एस बने । ग्रामीण इलाकों में नेताओं के शोषण को दूर करने और सत्य, निष्ठा व ईमानदारी से जीवन में कुछ बन कर निकलने की ललक ने अंततः उन्हें सफलता दी । हिंदी माध्यम के लोगों के साथ जो भेदभाव होता है, उसे सही दिखाया गया है । अच्छे प्रशासन के लिए भाषा का महत्व नहीं होता, बल्कि सूझबूझ, ईमानदारी, कर्तव्यनिष्ठा, मानवीय मूल्य महत्वपूर्ण होते हैं । ऐसे तमाम लोग हैं जिनके पास प्रतिभा और ज्ञान का अकूत भंडार है, किंतु अच्छी अंग्रेज़ी न आने के कारण प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं में सफल नहीं हो पाते हैं । ऐसे में यह फिल्म एक प्रेरणा देती है ।

This movie is inspirational and a cult movie and needs a lot of guts and clarity to make it. Hats off to you for directing this movie. Watched '12th FAIL'. It's the most emotionally impactful Hindi film I have watched in the last 5-6 years. There is a certain honesty and simplicity that I felt throughout its runtime. The dialogues are brilliantly written and some dialogues on power dynamics hit me hard. The direction by Vidhu Vinod Chopra was subtle and he was not trying to sensationalize things, very good direction. And Vikrant Massey what a performance🥺👌. Hats off. Just two scenes were dull for me. Rest, the whole film was engaging and impactful. I loved it❤️.

The best film I have seen in recent times....But I feel sad that I was not aware of the release date due to less marketing. I would have definitely watched this movie in theatre if I was aware of the release date. A must watch movie for youth.
