@@Aduvjpzsao but guitar playing and music in general is a lot more than just technicality, theirs plenty of guitar players who are super technical but can’t put out a single good song because they have no soul, groove, or melody, technicality is just one part of what makes a guitar player so good, Dime was technical but theirs a lot more technical players then him, what he had was soul and groove in his playing, a player like yngwie malmsteen have top technical skills but no soul in their playing, hence why it was so cool to listen to at first but then it got old fast, a player with soul never gets old because it touches a certain feeling in the human psyche, I can listen to a player like dime play all day long everyday and never get bored, when I listen to a technical player I get bored very quickly, and also the guy you mentioned can be replicated much easier than dime, all it takes is a technical player to come along and play it like him, soul comes from the heart and you can’t just replicate it technically, you can even go on TH-cam and find players who have basically dedicated their live to playing like dimebag but still can’t play it like he does,I can listen to a dime solo then a cover of a dime solo and easily be able to tell what the real one is and what the cover is, I can’t say the same for technical players, music is very very complex to the human emotion and to narrow it down to what’s technical or not is very narrow minded and doesn’t make much sense

Not a huge fan of Dave Grohl and his music, but as a musician and "star" I respect him a lot because of his work ethic and musicianship. Always doing it for the love of art/music. I can listen to his stores in interviews and documentaries for ages. if that is his Dime slime, MAD respect!
