High deductible with HSA has been amazing for me. It's so much cheaper than ppo with my wife and I and our 1 child. With our plan I think regular check ups are free and the minor special visits or after hours clinics haven't been crazy priced pretty sure all of them under 100 and with money in the HSA it's never been a problem. Very grateful I finally tried out our high ded plan at my job

Ppo may or may not be better in the short term, but I feel like HDHP when combined with an HSA will almost always be the better long term option, especially when considering the triple tax advantages it has to offer.

Some companies make a contribution to your HSA on your behalf when you signup for the HDHP. That needs to be factored into deciding for or against an HDHP w/HSA.

Biggest lesson i learnt in 2023 in the stock market is that nobody knows what is going to happen next, so practice some humility and low a strategy with a long term edge.

Nobody knows anything; You need to create your own process, manage risk, and stick to the plan, through thick or thin, While also continuously learning from mistakes and improving.

Uncertainty... it took me 5 years to stop trying to predict what bout to happen in market based on charts studying, cause you never know. not having a mentor cost me 5 years of pain I learn to go we’re the market is wanting to go and keep it simple with discipline.

My CFA NICOLE ANASTASIA PLUMLEE a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further... She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market.

i have felt like i'm trapped in High ded plan forever, the PPO sounds good. My maximum Out of pocket is $6,000 a year, and we always seem to use a lot of medical. If i went PPO my HSA ends and i would have to pay the $3,500 i still owe out of pocket ( right now paying it with my HSA account), can't have an HSA account in the HDHP ( just a FSA - that can only be used in the year if was acquired) . So, hopefully we can stay away from medical high dollar procedures and ER visits. .....Ideally, save the HSA money and roll it over to retirement years( tax free) , so far that hasn't happened for us
