I personally love the drake but I still preffer radar over 1/4 pen. And not getting prop mod is frustrating if you don't get it as default like the light cruiser line.

Me sitting behind that island just in front of you and Pommern when the kleber died or turn and kite? I was pretty much alone over there as you made the yammy useless… I was in Carnot fyi
You could have kited...its a tough call, that Kleb dying hurts a lot. sometimes there is no right call but you played it decent all things considered, I hate it when the blues throw
I think it tanks a lot better than the script says it should. How dare you hate on it 😂 It is not easy to play and you have to forget how you play other cruisers when using it. I don't like that it has no radar and the torp angles bite compared to albermarle. Heal is great though!
No offense but I think you have played to much Baltimore. RN heavies are not ships you want to be out front getting shot at by multiple enemies. You can't simply bow tank your way out of a bad position like you can with Baltimore or Wichita with their non-existent citadels. You have to be patient. Amazing alpha strike and fire chance is the name of the game. Smack people and go dark. Once they get distracted, repeat.
None taken but did you watch the video? Lol. I said bow tanking is not going to be the strength for this ship but the kiting angles are terrible and with full DPM it still has a 15 second reload…without a radar it’s low on the “battle impact” I also said I haven’t quite gotten the full feel for her but I doubt I will ever “love” this ship
@Where RU A A RON you definitely said that which made it even more confusing when in the second half of the match where you said " I could have kited but I wanted to play aggressive" and then proceed to come around and island and sail straight at BB trying to bow tank it and then get focused by multiple ships. My only point was ya you can do that in the Baltimore which I can tell you have played alot of from the way you play and that isn't an insult. In terms of the lack of radar I don't think every cruiser line should have it. The only reason Albermale has it on Legends is because it didn't get the PC pen I believe. Chilli had a pretty good Drake video today. Check it out. I think the ship just isn't your cup of tea which is fair. The RN heavies aren't most people's cup of tea.
@@pinkyskeleton5410 I saw it...he had a Harbin sail flat broadside to him...if I had paid actors as well I could have had an even better game. Like I said "The game is over, I want more damage" So I charged. Of course charging a Pommern is not the perfect play but neither is kiting the entire match. Also looking at it...my play ensured we did damage to the DD and he wasn't able to reposition as easily if we did kite. It's a mid tier ship and with any competent players on the enemy team you will not get flat broadside to shot AP. It's not a bad ship, just nowhere near "OP"

Matchmaking in this game is insane. I get a Kraken one game, then smoked in 5 minutes the next 3 games because my teammates play like bots.
