Am your neighbor here from Kenya. I just started small too with 50 birds. That was my little savings while in campus. I really lobe farming though i specified under medicine department in campus. Am hoping to work for 1 or 2 years and I can go full in chicken rearing too. You are really such an inspiration to me. Keep up the good work Dr.
Very inspiring. I'm developing an urban farm in my neighborhood in the USA and seeing how you operate gives me the knowledge and courage to keep going! You're awesome sir! Love from Ohio💪🏽☝🏽
I have been following up your progress day by day from day one...am so proud of you brother. Next month is my birth month and I decided am leaving my city lifer behind to start farming just from your motivation and from Wodemaya from ghana ,,,,,always amazing am proud and eager to start.I cant wait to show my progress to inspire someone else too....previously I worked as a Secondary school teacher teaching Agriculture, its time to apply it out of class...wish me success in my new venture...am putiing down the chalk for the farm. From Kenya here much love.
We love you so much that whatever you post we gonna watch, like and comment. Keep them coming Dr, keep inspiring us. My 1500 chicks are 4 weeks now healthy and well, thanks to your videos . I’m a South African working and living in Taiwan.
I don't know where to begin you are a brilliant man you really have thought of everything. I can see where your medical training has allowed you to think biologically. Keep up the good work you are definitely an inspiration to me in following one's passion.
Here in Philippines a finer net is used around the structure to prevent flies from entering. Flies are one of the number one problems in poultry farm here. I think that is not the case in your place so maybe that would work. Hoping for your success in this endeavour.👍💪
They say every dreamer must be crazy, very prudent, thats intelligence, using wats around u with reason to achieve ur interest, thanks that is inspiration.
Hi Dr. Daniel, really nice structure, I myself am using wood cuz its all I havr for now. I am going to treat with diesel before going furthur to prevent the termites.
this is great Doc, i would suggest that you use a hoist machine to take food to the 1st floor than a wheelbarrow because as time goes on the wood will become weak
That's a very impressive structure you have constructed. I am planning to go into full-scale poultry farming in about a year or two after trying a few birds last year that turned out very well. I have been following your tutorials closely. Thanks for the inspiration.
Make sure you keep watch on the wood the acidity of the chicken poop will eventually rot away the wood and for the rain if you had buildings side by side you could control the wind problem but if you don’t want to build side by side you could plant trees around to use as barriers against the wind
Dr. Daniel you are such an inspiration. Congratulations. Next structure you may try using concrete for the floors. I think it will last longer than wood. Thank you so much and keep it up.
Hey thanks for sharing your knowledge! The only things that comes to my mind is the risk of having a fire. All that wood in your structure would make the damage devistating. In one blow you could lose everything. My opinion on the differend levels of floors: I think that is something that can be used as a BIG advantage. If every level is open, you can use water and gravity to clean from the top up to the bottom. You then can collect and use ALL that poop as a fertilyser for growing crops OR gras for the chickens to eat.
Thanks Dr Daniel.the structure is interesting but wood may depreciate quickly in case we don't sterilize them..I think if we first smired them with some oil. Iam coming next year to uganda to also start I need alot of advice from you.thanks Dr
Excellent structure and you did a really great job in especially pointing out what was not properly done and may not be repeated. I learned a lot and will keep on following as a subscriber
The cracks between the wood slats on the second floor flooring are going to be very difficult to get clean and sanitary between batches of birds. You need to find a way to make the floor up there SMOOTH before you put birds and bedding up there.
Dr Daniel That's a super wonderful innovation my brother and I like the way you are thinking about all this structure. I am now ignited to farm furiously
This is so inspiring, I just started a chicken farm with my sister. I am curious to know how the guys clean the chicken waste in that structure. Our barn is a little different, we have a wire mesh at the bottom, chicken wastes drop through then we sweep the floor without disturbing the birds
This is inspirational Doc/Dr as I just started watching your videos recently and they are a real push towards my dream of starting my chicken business as there is a great deal of potential back at my village in the Eastern Cape. Well I am in South Africa by the way and looking forward in sharing ideas one day. Your structure looks perfect and it such a good and inspiring work in progress, your business. Regards.
Wawo man so inspiring i have been watching you since you started but look now how far you have reached.. I wish to have a visit and learn from you Dr. Daniel
This is great. Consider the effect of humidity on the smooth flow of food from the top. Once you open the feeds, they become humid and that affects their properties and how they interact with the plastic tube.
If biosecurity is so important, wood does not seem like a great option. Also if the cite is windy, putting up tarps in a storm sounds like a problem. I hope you have access to great labor to keep the cite clean and to do overtime during a crisis situation.
This poultry farm house was well thought out , designed and built with creativity by the farm owner/investor. I guess the capital cost could be quite less as compared to a more automated poultry house with slat flooring. I am very impressed with this creative inovation that is why I have been following the Farm Up Poultry documentary, watching in from Papua New Guinea in the South Pacific.
A true inspiration! thank you for sharing your work. I have one question. When constructing the second floor, how did you fix the timber/wooden pillars to the concrete pillars below? I mean how are they joined together? and how strong is the joint. I am concerned if a strong wind/storm can separate the wooden pillars from the concrete pillars bellow. Thanks again.
Thank you so much for this inspiration 🙏🙏🙏 wish to set up my farm while still at kyeyo so that I'm sure about the start up capital 😌 keep uploading me I'm taking notes
Daniel have you thought about breeding Quails in your country it is very much easy to raise and demand little space but high in profit. With almost 0 percent disease.
Awesome structure, going up is better than sideways, instead of using plastic preventing the sun and rain coming in i would rather suggest a shade netting as it have different sizes of holes in millimetres, it will help also help with rain prevention coming in thx
Nice building. Maybe put ramps from one section to the other, then you could drive your equipment all the way through the building. Since there is already a short wall between the sections, remove the area out of the center of the short wall for your equipment to go through.
Very good work here. I honestly love the architectural ideas used only concerned about the climate issues considering you've used a very large quantity of timber meaning there's a lot of tree cutting there. Otherwise very good work Doc
Dr .Daniel THE building is grate BUT I THINK you should have some way to let some sunlight in. You can check out the jadam way of chicken farming for some more ideas.
Great barn!!! Great ideas... Great birds. I wonder if you gonna reproduce the croilers as well. Seams to me that your cost for producing those are low and pretty low maintenance!!! Is there a market for them?? Rodrigo
You have inspired me to go ahead and do it. I am sure your followers wants to see a video that talks about production ( expenses ) vs income. I’ll be looking forward to se how profitable it can be.
Good job! I was hoping to see the top floor, thanks. One thing you could do is put netting between the walkways upstairs, so that if someone falls they'll be caught in the netting.
I am interested in doing my own chicken coop right now please help me with instructions and natural medicines to give the chickens to for healing and what I do to keep predators away
Wow this is powerful chicken house. I really need to start as well i have bought a big Land now i need to save another money to build something chicken and goats houses and stick to it all the way up
I have improved design using additional prevention methods and more organic, but Dr.Daniel keeps making mistakes (by copying) as well as progress. #drdaniel does not email #ratihayu back.

You indicated an important point
To get ride of flies, first put crushed charcoal on the floor before adding your litter
@Russel Habla...would a finer net allow for better ventilation?
@@henriettaiwunze8799 even soda ash
Ducks eat flies and also guenie fowls
Following from KENYA have started mine with ten birds and hoping to get more blessings Dr 🙌🙏
They say every dreamer must be crazy, very prudent, thats intelligence, using wats around u with reason to achieve ur interest, thanks that is inspiration.
I'm simply amazed by your enthusiasm and energy you're putting in the project. I'm learning a lot from you!!!
Amazing building through and through. Doc has all the major concerns handled. The construction was impressive and disciplined.
Damn man I've seen your farm and your passion grow tremendously over the course of 3-4 years. Keep up the amazing work man
Hi Dr. Daniel, really nice structure, I myself am using wood cuz its all I havr for now. I am going to treat with diesel before going furthur to prevent the termites.
Wow, it's been a wild ride watching you go from that small chicken house to this. Keep up the good work!
this is great Doc, i would suggest that you use a hoist machine to take food to the 1st floor than a wheelbarrow because as time goes on the wood will become weak
You are a hardworker, and your team is also hardworking. Wishing you all success.

Oh boy. The energy, the smile, the passion and dedication of this brother is just so amazing. 👍👍👍👏👏👏
Dr. Daniel you are such an inspiration. Congratulations. Next structure you may try using concrete for the floors. I think it will last longer than wood. Thank you so much and keep it up.
Im speechless. Its wonderful to see that progress. Im starting as well but only local chickens.

You are on a roll doc. You have built the perfect structure with the requisite biosecurity measures factored in. Bravo.
The cracks between the wood slats on the second floor flooring are going to be very difficult to get clean and sanitary between batches of birds. You need to find a way to make the floor up there SMOOTH before you put birds and bedding up there.
The structure is beautiful, I love your passion for what you do.

I love that the structure off the ground to prevent direct contamination from the ground.
Wow I always get motivated with your videos this is the good house for chickens and this is my dream when I finish my grade 12

Wow am so impressed by this my name is Andy am watching from nigeria and with faith I shall build something like this for my chickens someday
am lamech , a structural engineer from kenya and I've never missed your videos.that is not a stair way.it is called a ramp
Haha. Thank you. I didn't know that.
How will you use the pipes to pass the feeds and water round all the birds. Please I want to know within the shortest period. Thank you
Thanks you are a hard worker. Keep it up and God bless.
Your such a motivation. Your videos inspire me..I'm also planning to get into poultry farming business. Here in South Africa
There must a machine that "pumps / transport" pellets through pipes. To get the pellets upstairs. I can't find much info though.
I am watching you keenly. My interest in starting a poultry farm is really growing. Keep it up
Happy to see details of your structure! You rock!
Dr. Daniel you inspired me, thank you..
Your brother from sudan.

Thanks but I want to know the dimensions interms of height from floor to where the second floor is placed?
Good job! I was hoping to see the top floor, thanks. One thing you could do is put netting between the walkways upstairs, so that if someone falls they'll be caught in the netting.
Wow. I wish I had a land as wide as yours doc. Hoping someday I could accumulate a land ideal for poultry farming.
You're blessed. Thanks for the information. I subscribes and so get your videos. Should come visit your farm. Big up!
Daniel, come ,come, to Uganda with your technicians. I need such a structure on my farm.
Hii Dr Daniel you do a lots thanks for educating us I saw your update it is beautiful
Hi Daniel. Thanks for this great work. I'm inquiring how much does this structure need approximately to set up..
Thanks Dr for the good inspiring people it's really amazing work God bless
*OMG... Chicken House or Noha's Ark?* ... that's awesome!!!
How about raising walls half way with bricks and cement to prevent rain going in then wire on top.
Keep up the good work bro, your videos are helping is a lot
Wooow, Thank you so much Dr Daniel, so i want to ask you question ,what is the total expenses for this structure?. Thank so much.
I am interested in doing my own chicken coop right now please help me with instructions and natural medicines to give the chickens to for healing and what I do to keep predators away
This is really helpful... All the way from namibia
The structure is really amazing! Perfect, how I wish it can be in Zambia
I can if you put your mind to it... watching from Zambia too
U should build ramps for the bobcat to remove the shaving when u are cleaning
Little concern about rain and sun light entering the structure. Did you consider east West structure orientation?
Thanks for the work,am in to banana growing and soon am joining poultry
i am looking to build a chicken pen i was wondering how feasible it is to have a soil based flooring instead of cement or wood
Wow this is powerful chicken house.
I really need to start as well i have bought a big Land now i need to save another money to build something chicken and goats houses and stick to it all the way up
you forgot an important component of the structure, which is the egg collection box.
Another day
Does they make it more complicated or constructed in smart way? I am confused
Anyway looks good
I have improved design using additional prevention methods and more organic, but Dr.Daniel keeps making mistakes (by copying) as well as progress. #drdaniel does not email #ratihayu back.
hope you plant more trees in the farm... you have used too much timber....I love your structures and am learning from you
