Im about to turn 23. Got my PPL two years ago, and the videos of you flying the J3 just remind me why aviation is so awesome. Currently looking for Aerospace Engineering internships, and as soon as I land a full time job after college, first thing I'm getting is a Cub and a hangar for it.
Potvin was my idol as a Toronto area kid. I was probably 12 when he took them to the conference finals in his fist year. Had all the road hockey gear modelled after his.
Just found your channel and I enjoy it! You got my subscription. I found you cruising tailwheel/J4, L4 content because I start tail wheel training this week. I look forward to watching more videos! KEKN
Hey Joe, great video! I’m a fellow airline guy based and living in Philly. I’ve been meaning to send you a HUGE thank you since it was through your instagram that I found the great people up at Van Sant and finally got my tailwheel endorsement as well as checked out in their Cubs last summer. Would love to meet up sometime! Cheers
Very Nice Hangar....going to draw some inspiration for mine. Not sure what I like better, the whisky or the aviation stuff....I'm up at TTN so I may take you up on a get together at some point...
We have just secured a T-Hangar but cannot attach anything to the walls. Are you using screws to attach signs and memorabilia to the walls or some other method?
Where are you based out of? I live in Vero Beach, FL. Piper is naturally a big deal around here. I'm aware the Cub was before the Vero Piper days, but it's a plane that has always had a spot in my heart. I even have an original JC3-65 Owners Manual since I fly the aircraft in my simulator so often. I have physical limitations due to my eyes where I'd never be able to fly and to this day all I've been able to experience is commercial flights as a passenger. The closest I can get is flight simulators which I've naturally been an enthusiast for since I was 15 ( I'm 27 now ). What a dream it would be to fly in a Genuine Cub like yours. I'd happily pay for the experience. Just curious.. Love the content man!
I think you fooled me. Are you the same as Bananasssss? I share the shorts with my daughter & son-in-law. This is a very cool tour of your hangar, and the memories within. Thank you very much! I don't have fb or ig, but maybe I will send you a pic via my daughters account. I think you'd get a kick out of it! PS, I would NEVER buy an American flag that was made in China.
@@savage22bolt32 Pretty much! have to take advantage when the weather and schedule allows it, never know when we won't be able to do these things anymore
Just got a hangar…thanks for the ideas to decorate!!
Have fun! Most fun I had with he plane so far was decorating the hangar, lol

Nothing like living your dream! God Bless.
Like the Fin-Atics sticker. I worked there for 8 years back in the late 90s and early 2000s.
J3 Cub and Weller bourbon my favorties! Awsome.

Love me some early 2000’s BMWs. My current car is a ‘07 335i and I love it.
Funny thing the first time I listened to you on pilot to pilot I was driving to N14 to get my medical lol, I love that airport!

Nice! Right up the road.
Ever since I saw Maverick's hanger in Top Gun 2, I want a hanger I also want to learn how to fly a plane.
How do you fasten the metal signs to the metal walls?
Really nice place to hang up!
So cool!! I really like to follow your videos. Where did you get the vintage EAA flag?
Right off their website :)
So rad
Nice.

Joe hope to leave near by to share a cold beer😂. Super nice hangar
How do you make your airplane fabric look so shinny?
Actually use Car wax, lol Like Turtle wax. in between Waxings I use Pappy Aero spray cleaner
@@Bananasssssssss thanks!! Would be very nice of you can make a video about different techniques on landings. Like two points landings
