    Hi Andy, I am just a bit confused on how to use zan men,and how it differs with "wo men" and how it is also sometimes used as "ni" by others.. are there any guidelines when to use it? thanks..

    • @AskAndy
      @AskAndy  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      1.Basically, you can think about the difference between "Let's & Let us" in English. Zanmen is Let's. Women is the "us" in "Let us". Zanmen includes everyone while women refers to the speaker and the listener but there may be a 3rd person or others.

    • @AskAndy
      @AskAndy  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      2.Northerners in China use zanmen much more often than women. You don't hear Zanmen often in Southern part of China.

    • @AskAndy
      @AskAndy  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      3.Zanmen is used as "our" but actually means "your"to shorten the distance between the speaker and the listener, like a salesperson often says "Zanmen gongsi xuyao zhe ge chanpin" actually means "your company is in need of this product".
