I am so much confuse , as a biology student I need to understand NMR . In the 4 th video you said deuterium is NMR active where I will be 1,2.... here you are saying deuterium is inactive I=0. And while doing the NMR deuteride chloroform is used as organic solvent and it shows the sharp peak in the graph. Why when it should be silent in proton NMR.

Deuterium Nuclear Spin I=1, and will be NMR active but the frequency at which Proton NMR works, deuterium remains silent or doesn't show NMR activity.
