Thanks Luke, another good video. That thing you saw in the sky was probably a winch cable that hauls gliders up in the air. When they release the cable it has a small parachute on it to slow its fall down and also make it visible.
Great video Luke. Your right it would be lovely to tramp on a night out on that airfield. I imagine how quiet and peaceful it would be during the night? All that greenery and fields it would be bliss🙂
Good luck but if your newly passed you’ll be better off going agency work. Did you do your class 2 first for 6/12 experience, because if you’ve just gone straight to class one with no experience you may struggle to get anyone to take you on direct. Best of luck though, hope you find something🤞
Thanks for a brilliant video Luke. It is a nightmare at times in London especially when vehicles are parked just anywhere. That fuel leak looked nasty but great that it was repaired relatively quickly. Keep the videos coming and stay safe. Look forward to the next one.
London is a nightmare anytime and anywhere especially in a artic HGV. I’ve just tipped in London today after a 15 hour day, now thankfully parked up at a truck stop, showered, shaved, fed and now tucked nice comfy & warm in my cab bed for the night, I’m knackered😩😂💤🛏
Hi sir.. How are you today... I watched your videos , and all I can say is that you have a good footage.. May I know what gadgets you used? A camera phone , dashcam or go pro8. and what mic you used. But I guess it's look like a VIOFO A139 dashcam in your Front Camera. That's all thank you. Have a nice day.
Really enjoyed this video as usual!! Quick question..have you had your blood sugars checked recently? Just before I got diagnosed diabetic I was getting the thick salvia amonst a few other little signs... probably nothing at all but worth checking. Keep up with the brilliant Vids !!
@@lukecinahgvit’s never dull Luke ❤ brilliant channel and you always listen to you’re subs in fact your content is so good here I am rewatching old vids ❤
The Van was parked on yellow lines right at a corner the amount of time's I've been not able to make a turn because some clown parked right next to a turn.
Hi Luke how you doing ? Loved your Scottish adventure to Carnoustie around 2 weeks ago or under. Also loved it when Kevtee went to Elgin around 2 years ago when at Burdens as I have a cousin from Elgin . Loved that adventure as I’ll be watching your one again really soon Pal. 👍
Hi Luke I love your spirit and enjoy your videos. I am in my 70s was once a tanker driver back in the 70s for BP here in New Zealand, back then our trucks gave very little trouble, usually the 2 speed eaton shift may give a problem, much later when our fleet changed our Ford turbos gave trouble, anyway again thanks for your posts
Hi Luke, can you let me know which video or videos you travel to Buxton in? I’ve watched loads of your videos all the way through and I remember one where at the end of the video you mentioned you were going to Buxton the next day but I can’t find it. Thanks mate
I’ll be surprised if he can remember that. As HGV drivers we deliver to thousands of places a year, to remember one specific place is asking a bit. Especially some little town in the arse end of no where😂
@@mikereed4042 Doing the maths, £150 a day 5 days a week is £39k a year. £176 a day, 5 days a week, is £45,760 a year. As he says, he tramps somewhat often, so £43k may be his average.
Thank you mate that’s exactly how it works out. 🤙🏻 obviously I don’t stay out every night, so I do not earn that maximum number. I normally do two maybe three nights out maximum a week and therefore around 4000 is what I earn. ) driving trucks for a living anyway) I then earn around about £2000-£2500 per month in TH-cam revenue on top
We need agency drivers more then ever at the moment. If your that concerned about the driver shortage in the industry why ain't u working in the part that's actually being hit
I’m sorry mate but I collect and deliver what I’m told too. And I deliver a bit of everything. In the past six months alone I’ve delivered, water, food, aggregates, wood, aluminium, car parts, bricks, toilets, peoples prized processions, Office blocks, and so many other things. I’ve delivered to large companies, i’ve delivered to small companies to keep them afloat. I’m delivered to farms and festivals. I deliver to docks for export and import, I deliver to immigration control centres. I delivered to major sporting events and private personal addresses. So which part of the industry is being hit? Because I’m pretty much covering them all… Truth of the matter is they are all being hit. Every sector is short on drivers.
What you on about the industry is being hit everywhere. Our firm are desperate for another 3 drivers minimum and I work for a small family owned logistics company. Im sure Luke is more than aware of what going on considering he actually works in the trade. He doesn’t need to be lectured about it mate.
Hi Luke, for future reference if you have to deliver at CRS in Galmington trading est. Taunton try dropping down to jtn 26 for Wellington and then follow A38 back towards Taunton, you would come in on the quieter side avoiding all the hassle of the Toneway, Eastreach, around the back of the town centre and Wellington Road traffic lights! They are the biggest pain in the butt in Taunton, did some class 2 training around there 2 months ago! It's bad enough in an 18 tonner never mind artic😳 have a good week, I did say hello at Devon Truck Show this year but forget to say my name🤦♀️ so if you see an Iveco daily on your travels with the LIZZIE B nameplate in the front that will be me😂😂 stay safe and see you on the next video 😊
Lol just had my first day on Friday broke the digital taco my card said I was on break while driving yet the print out said I was driving and other work 🤣🤣🤣

Mate the Police don’t even bother with the foreign drivers because once they get on that ferry back to Europe the chances of tracking them down for a fine is second to impossible. Typical police they go for low hanging fruit and just fine British drivers all day. It’s easy prey for them.

Hi there ate companys offering training to get in to hgv driving do you know of any in the Cheshire area
Hi Like, great channel, just started watching a week ago - can I ask, did you fund your HGV licence yourself? Thanks.

Brilliant. All the best Luke.

I'm curious what's with the beeping noise while you're a seatbelt is on
Love the orange strobe lights in the window, where can I get myself one of those ?
Great video as always keep it up luke 🤙

Mine broke down last night, broken fanbelts and ac compressor bearings and bracket.... took 15 hours to get it fixed ..... grrrrr
English roads never made forHGV testing time on narrow roads
Pretty sure trucker jay has delivered round that same area of Park Royal. What a shit place for artic deliveries

Hi Luke, would be great to see your food stops day to day as a HGV driver, would add another element of entertainment for us all :)
Great video Luke, &. No rubbish music 👍.
Something that's often puzzled me is why do some trucks leave their trailers (flatbeds usually) in lay by's?
Trailer swaps. You leave them for another truck driver to pick them up for another location after you’ve left it.

At 24:42 you can see the HGV tyre marks on the road. Big clue there Luke, sure you already knew this. lol
another great video mate, you dont seem to have good luck with trucks do you?
Not at all
Hasn’t jay delivered here when with Keedwell? He had problems with people parking on that corner too.
How much extra is it to tramp out roughly? Anyone?
