Great video! It was like having a little virtual getaway. Certainly some narrow streets ... great job in navigating it all and taking the unexpected in stride. Looking forward to Part 2.
Wow, looks like you had a great time in Lisbon! The streets are so narrow I don't think I would want to drive there, let alone a stick shift lol. We were in Albufeira in the Algarve a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it. We would love to go back to Portugal again :)
We hadn't driven a stick shift since we went to Italy in 2018, so I had to practice in the parking lot, LOL. We considered heading to Faro/Algarve as well, but we only had six days on this trip, so we're saving that one for future travels back. We fell in love with Portugal!
Thank you! Yes, we got along very well not knowing Portuguese and speaking English. Most folks especially in the cities spoke English. We only paid in Euros except for a few times with credit card. People masked up indoors and some crowded outdoor areas. COVID added extra steps for the air travel...getting tested, showing proof of vaccination or negative test, along with your other documents.
We Love Lisbon - seems like you had a great time! Cute channel and we have subscribed :) Hopefully you find our channel interesting as well. Take care and keep up the good videos //M&W
Hi and thank you for the sub! We have subscribed to your channel as well. Can't wait to explore more of your videos. We are going on a European cruise in Oct. 2022 on NCL, so the vids you took on the cruise ship got us excited 😊
Great video and recommendations Pauls! Happy 2022!
Thank you! Happy new year to you and fam!
I really enjoyed a glimpse into your trip.
Thanks! More to come!

Wow 11 hours straight I know there’s a six hour difference in time zones✌️🤙❤️🇵🇹❤️
Yes, there were cheaper flights but they weren't direct and took much longer overall. The planes were nice as well.
Wonderful tips and terrific video shots! Did you get along OK speaking English? Mostly paid in Euros? How did COVID impact your travel?
