13:10 “… you know what he done? Run off with some little kid still in common school and got married. We annulled the wedding, the father of this girl and myself. We annulled the wedding, but he was married just the same”
Not only can he perform weddings for his divorced relatives but has the power to annul weddings too. Well, except the court documents show it was a divorce.
One law for me… and another for thee 😏

There was one standard for people with the last name of Branham and a different standard for people with every other last name.

Well, well, well. I was under the impression that Branham hated women and this confirms it. Years ago, I read what he had to say about when he was sitting in a shopping centre and watched women shopping; he zeroed in on their green eye shadow. He said he had some sort of vision of them in Hell, wearing green eye shadow, gibbering like mindless idiots. Wow! Jesus loved people, even prostitutes were allowed to hang out around Him, and He said that the one who washed His feet with her tears was to be spoken of wherever the Gospel was preached as a memorial of her love for Him. Branham had a critical spirit, not a loving spirit.

Once you join the message, you unknowingly get this critical spirit. I hate it that I was once like that. Thank God I left the message after 32 years and have a lot of healing to do

I always figured that the message beliefs about divorce was a way for emotionally abusive men to ensure that their "maids with benefits" didn't leave them.

6:00 these contradictions are off the charts. No wonder message followers are the most conflicted on this issue.

Sounds like the "profit" read only Matthew, and did not get as far as Mark:
Mark 10:11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.
And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

It started when WMB started preaching. With all of his many calls advocating violence against women, WMB s words rise to the level of hate speech and inciting violence against women. And I have heard horror stories from women raised in this cult whose father's brutally assaulted them just as WMB told them to do.

@@lesliewells1062 absolutely. I don’t know why he was so averse to women… something in his past, maybe. We know he advocated for men leaving their wives for as little as “cutting” hair. He went as far as disapproving “trimming” the hair. Such bondage!
There’s nowhere where it says such a thing as grounds for divorce.
(We continue to pray for those trapped inside - many are coming out with each passing day. The move is on!).

@@brothercaleb Exactly! That is not in the Bible--it's just another thing he made up. Did you know he admitted in public that he had to struggle against the urge to shoot women? He also said we aren't worth the bullet it would take to kill us! And every time he made another woman hating comment, he would follow it up with this fake, honey sweet voice and say, Now I'm not talking you sisters, you Godly women. I'm talking about these worldly women. As if that makes it ok!!! He was a misogynist to the core!

@@brothercaleb Wouldn't it be interesting to find out why he hated women so much? The one thing I remember he said is that women would come to his dad's moonshine place and get drunk and then they would have to give them black coffee and try to sober them up so they could get home and cook supper before their husbands got home from work. The thing about that is, though, men got drunk there too and that didn't make him sick. he hated women even when he was a teenager. I would love to know why.

Interesting how a Pastor in mesa Az had a congregate who daughter divorced and married another hombre. They all went to the assembly and all wondered "what the f.lavor!" Pastor COULDN'T EXPLAIN THE issue so he told the ppl, "if you have any questions just ask the father of the divorced!" Pastors couldn't touch the subject or preach such topic. Ha what a joke?

Do you think that there may be something going on below the surface here ? I would not be surprised if he was aiming this at his wife or one of his kids.

Because paul only new in part....paul only had a partial revelation on marriage and divorce.....
Paul didn't have the full or whole revelation on marriage and divorce...
Bro William branham gave us the full or whole revelation on marriage and divorce...

    • @brothercaleb

      PAUL:
“10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” - 1 Corinthians 3:10-11
      Galatians 1:8-9 KJVS
“[8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. [9] As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”
      WMB:
“Paul was the first messenger and he said in Galatians 1:8 that if any angel, any messenger, any vicar, no matter who he was - if he preached any other gospel than what Paul preached, let him be accursed. Paul knew that after he was gone grievous wolves would come in.”-An Exposition Of The Seven Church Ages (7 - The Sardisean Church Age) -Rev. William Marrion Branham
Isn’t it incredible that Paul is the one who laid the foundation and openly declare that his gospel was to be the standard. And yet we have this pretender claiming that Paul did not have the full revelation… if God will have to judge according to Paul’s gospel, why are we being gaslighted to think there’s a need for another? Isn’t this the very gospel Paul warned us against?
That’s how we know @dieselcowboy777 is making it up as he goes, trolling these threads. If Paul had a partial revelation of Marriage and Divorce, isn’t that also an insinuation that Jesus had a partial revelation? Yet from the Lord, regarding divorce, we hear these words:
““And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.” - Matthew 19:9
This is why questions are raised when WMB openly said “a husband has a right to divorce the wife if cuts her hair” (paraphrasing). Where did he get this so-called “full revelation”? Why is he preaching what Paul and indeed Jesus did not teach? Wasn’t the foundation already laid by Paul, the master builder?
Brothers and sisters, think on these things, critically.

You talk about Paul like he was some preacher from a law by time ago. Every part of the Bible that Paul wrote, through the revelation of god is God's complete Word, written exactly how God wanted it written. The idea that it's just bee sitting there, all these years, waiting for WMB to come along and complete it, is totally unscriptural and also ridiculous and doesn't make any sense at all. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life, ano man comes to the Father except through me. He did NOT say , Me and WMB are the way, the truth and TBE life and no man comes to the Father except through US. And yet that is exactly what you are claiming.

@@lesliewells1062 no it is that which in part that paul and the apostles had and they were still waiting for that which is perfect or the full revelation

@Raymond Shaffer no one said Paul's teaching was just a man....
We say William branham's teaching wasn't man's teaching either....it was God's message that He sent bro William branham with...
It os blasphemy to reject bro William branham's message because it was the 2nd part of the holy ghost ministry giving us our full inheritance of truth which the apostles didn't receive
