Oh, Diesel, Diesel, Diesel.... Always causing trouble.🙄 This would make a perfect story for the Brenner-Era. It's a real pity that they never had an episode with Duck and Diesel together since they brought the pannier tank back in S17... Very good work, mate! Well done to everyone who was involved!👍
That was an amazing story. It fits with Diesel's attitude and I did like how Rebecca came in with a slide. This is why engines have sandboxes to help them slow down 🙂.
Another great episode! I love how you incorporated both Percy and Duck into the story with Diesel. That gave me huge Diesel Does it Again vibes. This episode feels just like it belongs in the Brenner era, which makes me even more confused as to why there was never Duck and Diesel episode in that era. As for Diesel, he felt in perfect character with his stubbornness when it came to not listening to Duck and Percy. Brilliant episode as usual! Well done to everyone involved.
Yay youre back! :D I like the choice of design you gave Percy. 💚😊 I like that you gave him his S23 rivets and handrails. Don't know about the GWR letters since he has never been on the GWR. :/ His angry face is my favorite face from him, though its not as threatening as James and Gordon's. Like I said in the last episode about choices of different shades of green for engines like Duck and Percy, I'm guessing for Henry, BoCo and Daisy while not shown yet on screen, are going to be in the same bright green as their TV counterparts or a much more darker green like in the RWS. Though we did see Oliver in dark green facing away from the screen in the last episode as he was a mix of Model Series and RWS.
Nice job with this episode! The sound effects and music are really well placed and help me visualize the story, and the thumbnail art is excellent too! Love seeing more magazine stories being adapted. :)
Thanks Sooty. I may've glossed over at the thumbnail, but it was also a lot harder to visualize, so I used the Story Library illustrations as inspiration.
Yes! An episode with both Duck and Diesel in it. Something we never got after Season 3. And it looks like Diesel's causing mischief yet again. But fortunately, he got just what was coming to him. Brilliant job as usual, man!
The unique thing about the magazine stories is how they have so many character dynamics between Classic and HiT era that we never see in the show (including James and Daisy). Springtime for Diesel everyone thinks it's the first time we see Diesel and Daisy interact when really that interaction also derives from said-magazines prior.
I imagine the reason why Thomas and Diesel were paired up quite a lot was because HiT and to an extent Mattel just loved writing mostly childish stories about the “Steamies vs Diesels” rivalry until the cows come home. All because they must’ve wanted to spam it for their profits. P.S. As for this episode, I rate it a 9/10.

He really _is_ an oily creature... 😜
As an old familiar song goes 'in and out he creeps about, like a big black weasel'! 🤣😂😂😂

Fair point.
Thank you. 😊
I think also to have the main character have a story every season with the series main “villain”.
Another great one! Diesel certainly got what he deserved. Looking forward to episode 17.
Also, what is the name of that outro music?
Helping Hiro Theme by NorrambyBranch.
@@thesudriana016 Thank you.

Nice one mate!
