Great tips that make for a smoother morning. You are such a good role model for other moms who need some guidance on how to do mom-ing more efficiently and most of all, lovingly.
Great tips and always encouraging!Such a great reminder to not get aggravated with the little ones that God has blessed us with but to embrace them even when we think their timing is not ideal.
These are great tips! Since Solomon is about 5 months now and usually sleeps well during the night it’s much easier to get up early. We recently started attending a church here and the pastor and his wife lead a prayer and Bible time from 5-6am every morning. That has motivated us to get up much earlier to get us in the word immediately.
Such good tips! Especially thankful you mentioned the reality of kids waking up/being grumpy. I already wake up between 5:30 and 6 on weekdays to help hubby get off to work, and sometimes get a moment to read the Bible along with hubby after his breakfast. But if I intentionally got up at 5:30, I'd probably be able to get it in much more consistently. This video was such a good one to give me that extra push. So thank you for sharing! -New sub here, coming from Jordan Michael Tuesday's channel.
That is good that you have a nice rooteen. You have a big family so you pretty much have too. That's good Bella is being a winner, because I'm sure it will be needed when the new one comes. Also, I have a braille bible, but braillle takes up a lot of space. So I have a couple boxes worth of books as aposed to having the luxury of having one book.
Wow this resonates with me! I fought very hard to get routines in place to be the best I could be and use my time intentionally. None of that came to me naturally and I’m always surprised when someone says “oh you are organized.” It doesn’t come easy but with effort and persistence it’s so rewarding!
Such great tips! I love to think of children as an addition not an interruption, what a great way to look at it! I have 5 children, one being 15 months and she’s with me pretty much 24/7, I can’t get up before her so she joins me. I’ve never really had daily time in the word, I want to I don’t even know where to begin. I have plenty of bibles and a couple devotionals. Love the map you had, where’d you get it?
The Lord showed me that with my Bible time as well. To just bring the kids in to my Bible time or to also remember Bible time with them is also time I have with Him. And talking to Him through the day is being with Him too. "He gently leads those with young." He's gracious through these years with littles.
You’re an inspiration! I wanted to let you know that copywork is going really well for my dyslexic/dysgraphic son! You encouraged me to just start slow and build upon it. He is really growing and we’ve only been doing it a few weeks. Thank you for sharing! ❤️
This was so inspiring. I've been a mom now for 10.5 years staying home for the last 7 and this is an area I have yet to master. Thank you so much for this video!
I found it very hard to have any kind of personal routine when my kids were small. It wasn’t until the oldest ones were of an age that they could be more independent and helpful that I really was able to find a good routine for us all
I woke up early for 15 years but I haven't been consistent with this for a year now. I think I need to go back to getting up again. It has been so hard for me, for some reason. I've felt so tired this last year and I don't even have any littles anymore.
@@jasonandjulie Thanks for mentioning that. I took a Vitamin B12 for years. Do know what the difference is between methylated and non? I am currently seeing a nautropath and I had many of my levels tested so I am now taking a supplement for a 'slightly' low thyroid. So many pills to swallow...(I don't swallow easily)
I'm so glad you are posting this. I'm fighting burn out right now. Huge and pregnant, lots of animals to care for, and all my sweet and spicy babies (the olders too 😜). Let's be truthful, the past year has been hard for so many. I know our schedule looks completely different now than it did a year ago. We are in a season right now, that I'm trying to embrace, this is what we have planned for and wanted. But I found myself last night longing for our old house. We are small living (36 foot 5th wheel), large family, and the days seem to be a struggle for me lately. Thank you for being so uplifting, I needed it today 💓.
Oh Chelsi I understand! When I was pregnant with James I was in such a hard season. We were trying to transition from our city house to this one, Jason was working all the time to try and complete both and I was packing up by myself. It was an exhausting time. I’m so thankful that those seasons are temporary! Keep going mama 💞 This too will pass
You mentioned yours and your husband's personal Bible reading time; I'm curious if and how you encourage this habit in your independently-reading children as well. Some mornings my children end up witnessing me on the tail end of my personal Bible reading (another early bird here); they have chronological Bible reading assignments as part of school; our days begin with me reading the Bible aloud to them over breakfast. But I'm wondering if I should encourage delving into the Bible on their own, or if hoping they someday emulate my own clumsy efforts is enough. (I feel extra pressure in this area as my husband does not prioritize growth in Christ and we live far from Christian family, thus my children have only my example in general. :/) Thank you for sharing your life, you are such an encouragement to me as a fellow homeschooling mother and Christ-follower.
It sounds like you’re doing a great job getting your kids in God’s Word. I wouldn’t worry about doing anything more than just sharing the things you learn from time to time so they can see your excitement 💞 I was a homeschooled kid who never had a regular Bible time on my own when I was growing up but I love spending time in the Word now. I regularly pray that my kids will one day desire to really pursue the Lord with all their heart, and I believe that He will lead them to this place!
Oh Bella is a real blessing! I feel my eyes are wetting! Thank you for this video It reinforces what I'm doing every morning. I just need to wake up a little earlier. My wake-up time is 6AM.
It would be so nice to be able to only need 7 hours of sleep. I tell my husband all the time I could get so much more done if I needed less sleep! Aw well, it is what it is. I’m pregnant and needing 8 1/2 and a daily nap usually. And I’m still constantly tired. Weekends I will take longer naps with my husband home. Some seasons I need 9+ and nap. I’m pretty sure when preg with my first I slept 12 hours a day 😂 Anyways I live with an autoimmune disease. Just have to do the best you can with your circumstances I suppose 😌
Yes so true! We all have different needs and it’s so important to take care of ourselves. I did have so much more energy this pregnancy because of the b vitamin I took. It was a game changer for me!
Curious what time you go to bed? How many hours of sleep do you get? I remember when I was pregnant especially in the third trimester I would have to take a nap every day… Do you take naps?
I'm curious about that too, or what happens if Lydia wakes up in the middle of the night as some toddlers do. I'm a 30 year old young man and love taking an afternoon napp LOL!
I get about 7 hours of sleep and I find that I don’t do well if I sleep much more than that. I take a short nap every once in awhile but since I’ve been taking a good B vitamin I have a lot more energy and find that I just don’t need naps like I did in my other pregnancies
Beautiful family!! You must feel so overwhelmed with joy for what God has given you. God bless you guys.
Yes he is good
Thank you ...for once again...helping us...live a life the way God had intended !!!

Thanks for the sweet words Joyce 💞

Wow yes that is a great motivator!!
Great tips! I especially appreciate, "It's not an interruption, but an addition." So wise. Also, I like your earrings! 😊
Thanks! 💗
Wisdom! Thank you for sharing your life with us!
Agreed. Coffee and continental breakfast. Bible first. Mental exercises. Email catch up. Physical workout. Clean up. Real breakfast. Work 7 hours.
P.S. Big ups for Bella!
Routines are such a good thing! 💞

Yes I could imagine it would take quite a few books to write the entire Bible with Braille! I’m so glad you have it

Same here!! I have never been a natural organizer. It was something I had to work hard for. It’s so worth it though!

I’ve been trying to get into a morning routine. Great tips!
Thank you for the reminder, not to lose my noodle. I forget this and get frustrated when I shouldn't. Bella is amazing!! ❤️

This year has been hard for many 💞
I’ve started taking a good methylated B vitamin and it has helped my energy so much! Just another idea 😊

@@jasonandjulie great husband there!
I would love a new devotional to go through. Which version of my utmost for his highest do you have?
I have the classic edition from 1963. I bought it used from Amazon
Also what is the name of your journal bible . Where did you get it ?
