Beautiful Sound! I'm impressed and honestly it exceeds my expectations in terms material sound quality, I used to think aluminum was the exact sound to achieve that quality, now with this project of yours It gives me hope I could go with the galvanized steel pipe and still getting the desired results, will do this project soon, thank you very much Sr.
"This is so much harder than it looks!!" I took some old manure spreader pipe line that was 3 and half inch around, trying to make farm memorabilia, but as far as where to drill the hole and how far down to hang them and then the longer and placing that...IKES!!!!! LOVED YOUR SOUND!!!!
Thank you! I love your idea of the farm memorabilia. I'm not sure if you checked out the website in the description, but there is ton of information there and you might find the size pipe you are using to place your holes for hanging. Thanks for watching!
The specific lengths and the distance of 22.4% individual pipe length for each hang hole make this video the magic charm for me. Mine's going under a bird house, but the sound has been my trouble spot. Thanks for the video!
This was excellent..the best do it yourself BIG WIND chime I have been able to find on the tube...really easy and practical and a beautiful tone..thanks from Mexico..saw one that size here for 400 dollars..imagine!!!!
Just found you......Your heart is as massive as your Awesome beard.......Lucky wife......CONGRATULATIONS and Happy Anniversary....What a sweet gesture......to take the time to make her gift.
Awe....thank you so much! I love reading great positive comments. Thanks for taking the time and watching my video and leaving this feel good comment. Oh, yeah, I'm just as lucky as she is 🙂. HAVE A GOOD DAY!
Yours looks quite doable for reasonable cost ( ie: honey-do please... ) and sounds fantastic. Well done. (Lee's site and videos are a bit overwhelming and technical for me, though a great resource for many things like templates and such.) Now to hunt down some tubing, fencing, or even shower curtain rods to cut into that amazingly soothing Pentatonic C9 chord sound. Thank you!
Thank you so much! I agree that the website is quite informative aka, overwhelming. Lol! I'm glad you enjoyed my video and hope you find it helpful to create one of your own. Happy New Year!
these are the most beautiful sounding wind chimes i have ever heard!!! better than the $500 ones after which i have been lusting. just gorgeous and amazing.
I was looking for a DIY windchime video when I came across yours. By far, the easiest for ME to understand! LOL! Some out here are just way too technical! This is the exact size and sound I've been looking for! I needed to do a DIY because to buy one of those, in that size, is outrageous! I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty! 😉 My husband has a workshop, he works, I'm retired...soooo😏😉 Thanks for sharing, and I'm sure your wife loved it! ❤
My wife DID love it, and it made the perfect gift! I've seen the prices on these and that is exactly why I made one.😁 Good luck with it, and don't forget to check out the description for some detail measurements and the websites I used to help me out. Thanks for the comment!
Thanks for the video! I'll be revisiting often once I start this project... Looks like you had fun (mistakes and all) - always makes me happy to see people doing stuff just because they can!
Thank for the comment! It was a real fun project. Good luck with yours and be sure to check out the website in the description to get the perfect tone chimes, unless you like the sound of mine, then follow my dimensions. :-)
