I love watching Pawn Stars for its entertainment value, as well as its educational value… however, I realize it’s somewhat fake and scripted. All sellers are pre-vetted and research is done on their items before filming. In other words, the pawn stars know what is coming in, have researched and scripted a response that attempts to appear as if they know what they are talking about… in most cases, they do not. It’s mildly amusing.
Yeah, the scripting is corny, and the acting is generally pretty bad. But, I just watch it because of all the cool items that they feature. It's a cool way to learn some history, and especially interesting if you are into collecting art, currency, books, etc.
I had not watched this show in many years, even thought it had ended, and last time I saw Chumlee, he looked much younger and twice as big; so, had they not written his name on screen, I might not have recognised him, although his voice did sound familiar.
@@richardgadoury8452 Good for you, that's because. People nowadays are preferring to read and watch the news on their cellphones than hard books or newspapers.
Too many people are stuck on their phones, tablets, etc., but I assure you there are still plenty of people that read. I make a point of reading daily.
@@DalerMehndiDeekSheik Yes their is plenty of people that read hard books 📚... But their is far more people who are starting to read library apps on the cell phone this generation and I don't blame! That's because is a lot more easier to stay a home than to go straight to the library...
She owns her own book store now. She was thrown under the political bus (her brother in law is Mitt Romney) and she had to disappear for a while. She had a baby and wanted away from the drama for a while. She's back now, doing appraisals and buying/selling books.
Finally, a channel that's not regurgitating episodes by relabeling them.
Rick wouldn't even go more than 500$ with these books😂
Shouldn't have gone over 300
She's great even in 360p!
360pp
How cool is that!!! Love it!
More than often they don't survive the kids. I would make ramps to roll my toy cars down.
Chumlee the new history guru
Asking 2000 left with way less great job on the house payment hahaha😂 is he buying an outhouse???
ah Rebecca......

Dude looks like Sal Governele 😂
I really want the person/geek that came up with all the one liners from sellers to step forth
Rickman🤣
Did chum just say that the guy was asking $10,000? 2:10
2000 dollars.... He's asking 10,000 dollars
Yes, I heard him say 10 thousand instead of 2 thousand, but I thought I was the one who had misheard Chumlee
Chum is much different now
Nobody reads nowadays everyone is on their cell phone like me📱😅
I read virtually everyday....hard copy only. Plus newspapers on the weekend. The saturday edition of the NY Times is now $8 or $9 dollars...

I read on my phone, library app called Libby.

the thumbnail of this video makes him look creepy
Hearing Chum try to sound intellectual doesn't do it for me.
I can’t understand why she pins her hair up.
Why is she still on the show? I thought she got fired from it or something.

@@dougdennis3681 Ok, Thanks. Always wondered if she had some kind of relation to him.
Dumb to smart. Gotta love fake tv.
