Reasons I bought a production van: 1. Keep work and personal vehicles separate 2. Save time with having some equipment always prepped 3. Plenty of room for more gear as needed 4. Optics - Just being honest some clients really love seeing this level of dedication 5. Value add. I’m more efficient with a van and that’s good for me and clients.
That’s a great investment for your business Evan. The charging station battery is a cool addition. I have one of those long cases with wheels, very handy for tripods etc. I bought a ThinkTank case for cameras and lenses that I really like. Most everything else is at my studio space. Next investment for me is a wheel mount for my main camera/teleprompter.
@@evanthecameraman, I once had my DJI drone batteries swollen because I kept them inside the car when stepping out to get some aerials. Ever since then, I have brought them out with me-I am afraid they will swell, and the same goes for camera batteries. I'm not sure if I am a bit paranoid. That is why I thought of asking since I see you have a van.
@@YonnBurgos i have a roof vent to let the hot air out. Batteries should be okay unless in extreme hot or cold temps. Maybe one day I’ll learn a hard lesson on that.

Yea, when you have those little extras like a clicker and a battery to save the moment. That’s how they will remember you forever. Awesome video.

2016 ford motor van 🚐
Do you keep batteries in the van if you have to step out to the clients' site?
I keep v mounts charged in the van. I also have a 2000wh battery bank for anything that needs power or charging.
