I remember in elementary school I traded a bunch of random cards for an LOB blue eyes in perfect condition, just becase it was an alternate art but then... we were kids and played the heck out of them. I also remember this lady that used to sell cards and booster packs outside my school. Most of us had all these cards at some point and destroyed them, wich make them so valuable now, so nostalgic!
i know right i had maybe like 10-15 lob blue eyes and cuz they were so much played and destroyed i gave them to my nephew witch after half a year he burned them xD

Im 29 and have been out the game for atleast 18 years i think its time to start up again. There are so many cards around me seems like nobody collect them were i live
The card art looks cool, but the game has evolved and is completely different compared to when it first came out. Duels are fast and end within 2 or 3 turns. Longest duels on average last less than 10 turns. Lots of monster spam now with endless effects.

Ive been with yugioh and never left 👌 You will observe two types of yugioh fans, the player and the collector. If you have the patience and know how, then playing the game is great fun. Then there is the collecting route

@@dathunderman4 it was the same for, i really didn´t like how the game developed but when i started learning yugioh again it was a lot of fun. yeah it can take a few months till you understand the game but once you got it it´s really amazing and the learning itself was fun for me. I started in 2014 again and never stopped since then (except for a few breakes ofc).

The biggest problem with collecting cards, is that they are only worth what the other person is willing to pay.
An experienced collector would find info on what other slick it sold for to decide either it's truly a fair price

@gs06tc scammer how? Most of his prices were spot on; the only one he may have been wrong about is the Flare Wingman; considering a 9 is only worth $1k I'd estimate a 10 closer to $2.5k-3k, not $6k. Flare Wingman SHOULD be WAY more than it is, though, and I expect it to absolutely moonrocket in value next year well into the 5 figures. It's the Gold Star Rayquaza of Yugioh.

My Top 3 Rarest cards no one talks about.
1. Upstart Goblin LCYW 1st Ed ...no psa10 in existence.
2. Blue Eyes GLD5 Ghost Rare...very hard to grade psa9 or 10
3.Harpie Feather Duster BP01 Starfoil....I think none are psa10
This is a unique list and not what everyone else collects.
When cards with some shiny foiling are worth almost as much as you make in a year lmao
Correction: when cards are worth ten times your salary.
You gotta remember that store value is not the same as "street value". Just because this guy says his card is "worth $20,000" doesn't mean there are people out there who are going to pay that much.
You can go on eBay right now and get the card for much cheaper (a few hundred dollars) if you really wanted it. And even people aren't necessarily buying it for that eBay price either since they constantly get reposted.
I remember actually playing with some of these... I was never a Yugioh guy until more recently.... I got into MTG and kinda scoffed at Yugioh when it first came out, now I'm really kicking myself... I was around when Yugioh first came out, if only I knew then how much some of these would be lol...

I still have my 1st edition Yu-Gi-Oh collectors book that is just FILLED with all glossy cards. Over 20 years old sitting at the top of my closest back in my mums home! I have all of these cards and more! 😂 I think I should send them off to get graded! I have Jinzo and the Morphin Jar and a few different kinds of blue eyes dragons as well as the ones in this video. A few different kinds of Dark Magician and the Dark Magician Girl! Think I should go and get that book! 😂
I doubt you have the ones that are actually worth the big bucks man. Everyone thinks they have the valuable ones when they see videos like this. But 90% of the time they have the same card just not in the right set or not 1st edition or not the correct rarity. . I used to have all the cards in the video too. And then some. But a lot of them weren’t the first editions or not from the particular set or not the particular rarity it needs to be to be worth the big bucks. They’re alot harder to find then you think

Since the card is touched in the video, that means it's now Near Mint because it has Finger Prints and Oils on them. Mint means while opening packs you wear gloves, so it's never touched with bare hands.
Nah that's not true, you can pull cards that are not mint and fingerprints do not make a card non-mint. If PSA grades it as a 9 or higher, it's mint.
The cards that are in binder are near mint until they are graded and show proof of the grade. The ones in the box are mint if they are 10 since it's say Gem Mint. 9's don't say Gem Mint.

When it come down to it, it come down to a certain buyer willing to get it. Which make it very difficult. I see a few that I myself have yet hard to believe what they say.

I'd like to say I sold thousands of dollars worth of cards in a garage sale by accident but let's be honest... when those duel discs came out all of our cards grading went out the window and they're probably worthless
