Your goddamn right we do! Bring it on! This has been one of my favourite Marvel comic runs since it came out and this has been one of my favourite Comics Explained series to date as well!

You're goddamn right we remaster Secret Wars. That was a pretty unique event where it was a grab bag of various alternate universes each interesting in their own way and just the logistics of how it worked and was probably the best Reed Richards/Doctor Doom story ever told.

I think the last time I felt nearly as much hype was when he covered the F4 run. Secret Empire, House/Powers of X, absolute carnage and Blackest Night are close seconds. But this run trumps them all hands down. I remember when he started it I was like "But where's annihilation conquest..." but now honestly that story can wait if it means we get secret wars remastered.

When Thor and Hyperion fell, it gave me the same feeling that I had when Vegeta decides to detonate himself to try and take out Majiin Buu to protect his friends, family and planet earth. The monologue at the end of that episode gave me chills. And it's incredibly similar to this
Yeah, but this one was better because these two Gods died to HUNDREDS of universe busters... Vegeta blew himself up to kill a fat ball of chewing gum that came back to life

That’s like, one of the best motivational speeches. To be SO motivated to go into combat that you do not fear death. Like, idk if Steve Rogers could have ever given as good as speech, but, he would rise in the occasion to meet it if someone else gave him THAT motivational speech. It is INCREDIBLE
That's the big difference between Greek and Norse mythology. Norse heroes fought with the knowledge that in the end the Giants would win anyways

@rina oxex more of he ties with reed, but he is definitely more arrogant than reed, and a bit more willing to push the envelope. Doom manages to use owen to channel the beyonders power to save pieces of other universes and built battleworld while Reed manages to build the life rafts that save some of the heroes from both the ultimate and Main universe and it is ultimately reed Owen Valaria and Franklin in the go out and rebuild the Multiverse afterwards, but doom did have the better idea going after reese and figuring out how to beat the beyonders (with owens input)

It doesn’t work like that, neither are that powerful especially kitty pride. if it did work, they’d probably die on the first and only successful attempt, the infinity gauntlet was destroyed the first time it was used after all.
@@victorpleitez768 I found that to be some plot bull$hit to be honest...the infinity gauntlet could literally change reality but all of a sudden is so weak you can no longer alter or change reality...right...but it had to be done or they would have had a viable way out.
Gravity is still a thing
killakaynyne the gauntlet only works in its native reality, the Illuminati used it to push an entirely different reality away from their own and stop the incursion. So it’s not too far fetched the gauntlet would break after doing that. At the very least, the reason for the gauntlet breaking makes more sense than what we saw in the films, were the gauntlet starts breaking apart after just one big reality alteration.

Imagine the fight if Thor and Hyperion had The Sentry who has the power of a million exploding suns (the beyonder calls Hyperion a fool because he calls himself a sun which they can destroy), Gladiator of the imperial Guard who has the power to collapse stars and rip apart black holes and Blue Marvel who is a beast them against the Beyonders would have been a fight to see

It would be awesome do to keep on going into Last Days and then on into Secret Wars after that. Redoing the Hickman run has really gotten me back into that storyline and I just want more more MORE!

What an epic run. Hickman had real vision, which is where the more recent Avengers writers have fallen by the wayside, imo. He sets up a lot, but the payoff is usually worth the wait. Not every writer should be given an omnibus assignment-only writers with real vision.
As far as the Beyonders go, I’ve seen a lot of cosmic beings used as bad plot devices in recent years (Galactus in Cate’s recent Thor, for instance-not hating, just calling a spade a spade). Hickman manages to pull off their power level. Also, Beyonders aren’t necessarily a new thing, and the one Beyonder was always OP.
This is my favorite Avengers run, by far, and I’ve followed the books for decades. Not a huge fan of Deodato’s art in this run, but this was an epic last stand either way.
Yeah you need to remaster Secret Wars or whatever follows after this, because I just have more questions
Remastered last days, then remaster a little JLA, like Tower of Babble. Regardless of copyright issues with this or that. Rob, you must lead us in this whole new land of the remastered. For as long as a man of various interests and knowledge as you have leading us, we can only benefit from the experience my friend.

The most important thing to remember about this . Is when the heroes lost facing the power of the Beyonders. Doctor Doom looked at them and said food ! And made them fear! Literally with the will of Dr Doom... He defeated incursion.. now that is goddamn awesome!
