Another masterclass from the legendary Buckin Billy. Is there nothing this man cannot do with a power saw in his hands. I honestly believe it's a honour and privilege to see him work his magic. Kind regards to the buckin army 🪖. And our love and respect to Billy and his loving family from across the pond
@Buckin' Billy Ray Smith straight up becasue of your videos and videos like Jacob's and Jeds I was able to get an entry level job at a higher pay just becasue i knew the answer to their specific questions all because of learning from these videos. Starting pay for groundsman was 18 and a review and test to see if you can become a climber at 1 year well I got hired at 21 and immediately started training to become a climber all thanks to these typed of videos
Buckin Billy, Brother You Are A Class Act!! I Feel Like My IQ Increases Every Video Of Yours That I Watch!! You Are "A HAND FULL OF ACES"! Keep On Buckin & Passing That Knowledge. Thank You. From Hatboro PA
I just moved out in the middle of nowhere on farmland and my cousin owns his own tree company and is teaching me how to trim and fall tree's. I finally bought my own saw and bucked a bunch of firewood for some elderly folks out here and gained some lifelong customers that treat me like family out here. Your videos help me a lot Bill thanks!
Watching Billy with these trees and with sharpening and with saws of all makes is the best entertainment there is. You are a Master Tree Man in my book. And a damn good man also. Hats off to you Billy
Anyone who doesn’t do this for a living has to know just how big this timber is and how nervous it makes you when you make a cut into it. Taking down a tree that size is a huge job for most people. He makes this look so easy lol ! The master !
Sometimes I can’t even explain, or know exactly why, except that I’m more than happy to watch, listen and follow along. Buckin, thx so much for caring.
That was one nasty, rotten tree. I was holding my breath watching you go after that one. So unpredictable at times. What an amazing job. Thanks for sharing, be kind and God Bless you and your family Buckin! Merry Christmas my Friend.
Buckin you bring an unexplainable energy to my day watching you. I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels that way but I could watch you watch paint dry and be entertained. Love your work man thank yoy.
When you start cuttin' on these gnarly ol' beasts it's always an adventure cuz' you just never tell. Something like this ol' brute can play some nasty tricks on you!
I don't know what it is about you but I can't stop watching your videos when I see them. I too started with firewood. When I was a child we heated with wood so Sunday was firewood cutting day. I still have wood stoves in the shop and garage and a fireplace in the house. There's something about cutting trees. I'm also a carpenter so interesting firewood often ends up on my lathe and turns into something more. I also live on a farm so there are always trees that need attention. I still have my Grandfathers chainsaw, and use it. It's an old Homelite that was made about the year I was born, 1965, and it still cuts like a monster. It's the first chainsaw I ever used when I was 12 or 13. The Homelite comes out when I have something bigger and gnarly that needs attention and it never fails. I don't know how many other chainsaws we wore out but the Homelite always seems to come back.
Lovin’ the fancy replays and voiceovers... skills getting sharper on multiple levels all the time. And that customer service just can’t be taught!! Buckin’ Eh!
Great Job !! enjoyed the video as always , I got a big ol pine here to cut , need to watch a few more vids first !! gett my courage up . I used to say i can cut one down , but which way it goes , who knows !! I am gettin better for an Ol Fart !! Your videos really help !!Thank Ya Sir !! When i get as good as You , HA HA NEVER , iM Gonna be Old Buckin Billy Bob way down in Texas !!

Thank you for what you do Billy. I’ve been casually cutting many of my 62 years here in Maine on my acreage and you have brought forward some great knowledge I’ve never had. Awesome content. Love it.
Your videos on filing has saved me so much time and energy. And saved me so much money in gasoline in my saws 😂 Love all your videos and especially the cletus one on gettin the gullet. You explained it in a way it sinks in Our heads. I’ll never forget No top lip cletus Gullet. Love all you guys on the channel. Keep slingin chips and axes !
Buckin Billy I’ve been watching your videos for some time now and you put a smile on my face almost all the time. Appreciate all the information. You are Simply awesome!
You videos are amazing and very informative. Love your passion for your work, thank you for your time and experiences & sharing them with us, I love how you say friends all the time, God bless you and saw safely 🌲🌲🧡🧡💪
Bill! Hope you the wife and kids are well had to go tippin and left my axes in my buddies truck so i had to hang a new new and use it.. oh man you shouldve seen this thing, what a magical piece of equipment it was, five or six nails and so much twine and nail glue
Just discovered this channel as my new house has a fireplace and I’m starting to get into harvesting/storing my own wood. This guy is goofy as hell and I love it. Great channel.
This is very touching Billy. They say it takes a man to humble himself and keel down and ask GOD for help and thank him for grace give to him. So nice to see the kind and loving side of Billy. I most certainly can relate to you Sir. vf
I see what you did there. You increased the amount of travel time before the compression of the wood in the face cut keeping the tree on the holding wood longer. Simply wow!.
I always learn somethin from your videos. I'm a disabled man but thankfully I'm still able to get out and do things as I need to and sometimes when I feel up to doin my own log's or firewood cuttin. Keep on keepin on Buckin Billy Ray!
I was taught to always be looking up. I see so many fallers not looking up and watching the backcut. Such a great sounding saw. Love watching you work. I love running a saw.
Enjoying watching these older saws and axes keep their positions as top dog of the woods! Another good fella doing great work with these-TH-cam Aaron A. Lynch and your welcome 4 the future binge watching! 👍👍
You, Sir, I thank you for knowing the wood and showing the green how to get along and appreciate with total respect the timber that gives and provides life! Once again thank you!
Just bought myself a 365 special. Order 28" guide bar. My 345 big bore build getting ready for my channel. Hopefully all parts here soon. Life if special, share it with kindness and compassion. Love to all from the Northwoods of Minnesota
Buckin Billy Ray, thanks for the great explanation of your videos, you bring a positive attitude and energy to us! I cut my own trees on our property for firewood. I am always learning something from your channel! Whether it would be tuning a saw, sharpening a chain better, or felling a tree, you always give a great deal of explanation which makes us all better. That tree was a doozy and you made it look easy. Thanks again!
You nailed it Billy! All of them went right where you said you wanted them. Saved those folks some more money & labor by putting them where you wanted not wrecking the fences and othe stuff👍🙂
I loved that obscure Bernard Purdie reference! ‘Lemme ‘splain to you’. Those videos are pure magic aren’t they? Love your channel Billy. I’m also a drummer, but I came across your stuff looking for strategy/safety to tackle the blowdown on my acreage. My Boreal Ontario trees ain’t nothing like the west coast beasts you deal with. I really appreciate the service you provide.
"They got the greatest peripheral vision" resonated with me as I'm autistic... I'm super observant and know what's going on around me most of the time, I can walk down the busy street looking at my phone and not even nearly walk into anyone, I feel like I'm always dodging people on their phones who aren't as observant as me 😂😂
Billy, when I do an under cut like that I tend to do a full plunge cut, the bar height only. I like your idea of just skin a thin slab and split it out on the grain. Same reasons,, some trees need to hang onto the hinge a little longer to continue to guide the fall well after it has started.

well well , welcome to ya
I suggest you get a fireplace insert if you want to actually heat the house, otherwise all the heat will go up the chimney.
It's a pleasure watching you work. Luck does come into play occasionally, but you definitely make (lucks) job easier.😊
More information and examples of technical cutting to keep us out of trouble! You’re a good man! Thanks for the content Buckin.
Impressive work as usual Buckin! 👍👍
I love the way youre constantly listening to the tree.
Those are my wife's favorite cow. If she had it her way, they would sleep in our house, haha.
Those Highland cows are too cool! They always tickle my Scottish heritage.
Love Buckin Billy! Taught me a ton about being safe and precise (going slow) on my property!
Pure class Buckin. Yet again you show us your skill and experience. Pure magic!! Thank you
Thank you billy for all the effort you put in your videos and all the knowledge you've given me! Keep on buckin'!

Great video buckin, we have these highland cow's in England and in scotland too obviously. 👍
Another video filled with training, saw cutting, and positivity. Awesome job putting the trees where they belong. ❤
I see what you did there. You increased the amount of travel time before the compression of the wood in the face cut keeping the tree on the holding wood longer. Simply wow!.
it needed all the help it could get
Glad that turned out well Buckin. Sometimes luck combined with skill is the only way to get the job done.

I was taught to always be looking up. I see so many fallers not looking up and watching the backcut. Such a great sounding saw. Love watching you work. I love running a saw.
Well said!
I'm not worried on green trees as much as dead ones. Beating them over is when you really need to be looking up.
Chainsaw magic my friend, you just did the master class! God bless!
Great as always Billy from 🇬🇧 side of the pond 👍🏻
thanks for all your tips billy ray! just started to get more into your videos and every video you make is pure gold.
