    I’m glad I got this recommended to me. I think this is probably a sign to follow my passions and not be afraid.
    I’m curious, did you speak French before you moved? And what do you do for work now?

    • @Patsy_Lo
      @Patsy_Lo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi hi - am glad that this helped you in some ways.
      I didn't speak any French when I moved there - Paris nowadays can be manageable on a daily life basis with minimal French. Quite a few people speak some level of English.
      Not trying to be a therapist - however, sometimes feeling afraid is ok - and its also alright perhaps to not be ready yet? It might be good to understand where the emotion is coming from also.
      I am now a dance performance artist. Have started choreographing/as an artistic director to my personal project and commissioned project. There is more information on my website sml.dance in case you want to know more.
      All the very best in your path to pursuing your passion.

      @@Patsy_Lo thank you so much for your response! I agree that it’s okay to be afraid a bit but I just meant that it will never be too late to do what I love.
      I’m still young (22) and in school but I have other passions that I would like to pursue outside of what I study at school (that don’t require a degree) so it’s good to know that once I finish my education and start working that I can still always put time into those passions and it won’t be a waste since it’ll make me happy. I can pursue my passions in small ways alongside what I do career wise in the future. I may not dive in as quickly as you did but even dipping my toes in is a good thing :)
      Your story especially spoke to me since I used to study dance in high school. It’s been around 3 years since I’ve taken a class and now I feel like I should drop in again soon.
      I checked out your website and it’s beautifully made. I read through it and watched a few works (which were amazing) and I plan on watching the rest!
      Thank you again Patsy! I’ve subscribed and I can’t wait to see more from you

      @kaylah9206 Hi Hi - thank you for subscribing. And very nice to meet another fellow dancer. Such a beautiful age at 22. It is lovely to hear that you are keeping your passions close to your heart. When I was "saying to myself" that I was too close to start dancing, someone said to me - "never let a number/your age limit your love for life." It means a lot to hear that the video spoke to you. Took me a while to muscle up the courage to put this story out there. But my friend urged me - she felt strongly that it would connect others. I am glad I listened to her. Even if it connects one person properly - it's worth it. If you need any some suggestions as to where to dance in Paris, I can most certainly share that also. All the very best. ✊🏻

      @@Patsy_Lo you've popped up ... If you believe me I had the change of my life at 46 and it was a fight with numerous challenges. At 52 I took another one decision to change for second time again while the difficulties were tremendous. I went to Germany where I live now. Nothing easy. I am still trying for the best. Of course we have different lifes but I've got ill in Germany with Fibromyalgia with terrible pains all over my body. It is under control now with medication. I am fighting also darling... I am working on my third change. I am 57...❤️

      @@Patsy_Lo it's not easy. It's actually a psychosomatic syndrome... Traumatic experiences who have been pressed deep down because I was always trying to stay strong and this what my environment also expected and demanded because of the conditions that had been created. At the end my existence or my soul couldn't take anymore and collapsed with my body... Then I understood that I had to take care of me deeply. You are inspiring me now beautifully.
      I don't want to keep you writing. Just be happy and have a good night 🌃 or good day. I don't know where you are but stay in hapiness 💕
