Yeah, I stopped listening to that guy the moment he said that. Sadly, those kinds of sales people win a ton of bids that should have gone to honest, hardworking people... I've heard there are a whole lot of these types of liars running around my area selling solar systems giving completely ridiculous ROI numbers. It's landing companies in lawsuits. If this guy was selling for me, I'd fire him on the spot.
Easy to say, if you live in a state that finds fast food, businesses or businesses for dirty dumpster pads I’m in Florida. I don’t believe there are any laws like that. But definitely don’t be afraid to get out there and talk to people.
For people who's first starting out, do you have to have your own water source like a truck with a big container with both water and chemicals to do the job?
This is a late reply, but over the last to years of doing door to door and business to businesses, my ABSOLUTE favorite ice breaker as soon as I see a, “ no solicitation “ sign is, “hey! I seen your sign saying no solicitation so I just wanted to inform you that there’s a solicitor in the area… pause….. it’s me 😄” they 99% of the time will chuckle and then I’ll continue my pitch with report building. Otherwise, act like it’s not there and you never seen it. Anytime you walk to a home or business, be on your phone. Pretend to text, call, check emails etc. it shows that you’re busy as well so they don’t just use that as a smoke screen aswell as saying … I’m sorry I didn’t notice it as I’m very busy and will just take a couple seconds of your time before I have to go. Put the ball in there court and own the conversation

mostly no dumpster pad has a water spigot unless its connected to a utility building or the real building
