I have terminal cancer, too. H3 podcasts and videos keep me sane. Love wearing the merch and teddy fresh and having people know what I’m wearing. Thank you for doing this. Ethan and Hila, you’re such wonderful people. You’ll never understand the impact you truly have on people. On days that I don’t even know if I want to continue, I can watch a podcast and laugh for 2 hours.
Research Laetrile (b17) / gcmaf / rife technology and Gerson protocol. Sadly mainstream medicine hides a lot of beneficial and superior cancer treatments. This stuff can saves lives in ways chemo cannot. I hope things work out. Xx
I love that this comment section is bringing attention to some of the tough shit that fellow Hila Kleiners are going through out there. It goes without saying that we are with you in spirit. Papa bless... I mean... "Pizza Hut bless";)
"Five months into my one year to enjoy life." Honestly that hit me right in the gut. I know Chris doesn't want anyone's pity as he's facing death with a smile on his face, but I was just overwhelmed by the fragility of life. A real exemplar of why many of us should just stfu and enjoy life - it'll eventually be taken from you. Just live and be grateful you got to be a conscious, sentient being that got to be stimulated by this world with all of its pleasure and pain.
I'm also going to die from cancer and I started watching H3 and Philly D when I was in the hospital for 4 months after brain surgery. :) I really appreciate this episode. I also strive everyday to do only what I truly want to do, so I admire these two a lot. People pity me because I have cancer, but I pity people for doing the same mundane stuff everyday because they are content believing they're going to live until they're old.
kaliechips ya it's a paradox. I much rather do what I love but bills and shit u know. But I do totally get the perspective and wish you nothing but the best!
It's sad that it takes a potential premature death to teach such a valuable lesson. The best a human can do is experience life's beauty first hand and appreciate how much potential we have to all have fulfilment in our lives. Thanks for sharing Sincerely inspired
So proud of them for having Chris and Dylan on. Sad reason but also uplifting bc it’s nice spreading an important cause while also searching for life saving matches that’ll actually extend someone’s life. This is the type of content the world needs right now, so thank you guys. Papa bless
What he is saying is true my husband has a rare cancer and when he’s been doing chemo your videos make him forget that he is sick and weak and can’t eat from chemo. He laughs when he is breaking. Thank you for what you are doing truly. It might not seem like you are doing anything at all, but you are. I’m glad he is able to do all these things! I hope a lot of people go in! I will if I’m able to! ❤️❤️❤️much love to you
I'm sure you've heard this before, but cannabis is an excellent appetite stimulant and good for anti-nausea. Please try if legal where you are, or not ;).
wow! Cannabis has helped me so much with nausea after i have been having some GI issues that (may be colon cancer) hasnt been diagnosed for 5 months. Cannabis is the only thing that allowed me to eat. Its really shitty that its not legal.
My dad died of cancer 2 years back. This podcast made me incredibly happy. Everyone here is nice, and I love that they can all have a laugh about it. This was one of the best podcasts to watch, and I love Ethan, Hila, and Phil for doing this for him. Thanks for raising awareness for this guys, keep it up!
This dudes ability to laugh at his circumstance is proof that he can beat it. Keeping your head above water does help in times like these, I think... I wish him well, and if (when) it does end... Well, atleast he had fun. He could laugh in the face of Death. We all lose, but right now he is winning.
I couldn’t stop smiling while watching this, it’s so inspiring to see these guys staying so positive. I literally just mailed in my swabs from the match thing after registering from seeing them GMM and then I come home and see they got on this podcast. It was was super a super simple process and worth the possibility of saving a life. Keep it up guys, you’re definitely making a difference for more people than just me.
Damn. This hit so close to home for me. My step mom was diagnosed last June with stage FOUR colon, lymphnode, and liver cancer. She's 48. It came out of nowhere with little to no signs until a couple months before she was diagnosed. We have Kaiser insurance but they don't cover most cancer tests until you're 50. She went to get a colonoscopy and almost did not do it because even the DOCTOR said her signs were normal. It was $2500 out of pocket to get the test done. She almost cancelled it bc it was alot of money. But she went through with it and thank fucking goodness she did. They were stunned and shocked. She had her first surgery in November on her liver, it went well. She was 94% responsive to chemo. I believe she's on chemo round 16 or so. She had radiation sessions 5 days a week for 2 months on top of chemo. And through all this, she is STILL working teaching children because she loves it like who the fuck??? She's a god damn super hero. (Obviously if she's super weak or ill or having surgery she takes off work) Her next surgery is April 9th and honestly we are all fucking terrified. We don't know what the outcome will be and there is a chance they wont be able to remove all the tumors. We also lost 2 of our beloved animals to cancer last year too. 2017 was so fucking shit I can't even put it into words. And what are the chances, just as this posted I have been working on an art piece for my step mother?! Bless this wonderful human-being for being so positive and spreading awareness about his cancer and being a light for the community. Also thank you Phil, Ethan, and Hila for doing this. It has inspired me so much more than you could ever know and I'm fucking crying now thanks guys lmao. Also his best friend is fucking amazing, you sir are his guardian angel. I hope you make it through, I really really hope there's someone out there who matches with you. ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Good luck.
Also I'm sorry for posting such a long story, but if you could read it that would mean the world to me. Please, everyone if your parents or you feel off in some way, go to the doctor, get checked. I never thought this was remotely possible my step mom was perfectly normal before this and doctors said she had this for the upwards of FIVE YEARS so PLEASE, get a colonoscopy, get blood tests, scans, etc. everythiny you can every few years. PLEASE protect yourselves. It is absolute fucking hell to go through so just get checked regularly.
I'll tell you what I wish I knew, my mother died from brain cancer last week at 48. she was my best friend because I'm also disabled and we were together 24/7 the past few year's but even so the moment she passed I could only feel like I didn't do enough for her. try to spend as much time as you can with her and make sure she knows you love her but also don't blame yourself or feel like you didn't do enough if she passes. if she recovers or even becomes more stable like my mom was for a few years don't take that for granted and think it's all better because she could still get taken away at any moment so do as much as you can with her and help her experience the world as much as possible. and have her write a journal for you or your dad even if it's just a few day's have her write all the things she wants you guys to know if she passes, my mom did that and it has helped comfort me so much. as far as everything else everyone's situation is different but be careful with the radiation, that's what killed my mother ultimately she was fine until she did that and as soon as she was done with radiation she immediately started declining and the last few weeks we had with her she could walk or move & wasn't there mentally either she was a different person and it was so heartbreaking to see. but just know I'll be praying for your family and I hope everything goes well and she recovers.
Research, b17 (Laetrile) gcmaf, rife technology and Gerson protocol. These are cancer treatments hidden from mainstream knowledge and in some cases they are much better than chemo without the sickness. This knowledge can be the difference between winning or losing to this tough situation. She sounds like a fighter. She deserves to beat this. Good luck.
The worst things always happen to the greatest of people unfortunately. I’m wishing for nothing but the best for you, your mother, and your family and I hope her upcoming surgery goes well too. 💜
I think Dylan has it worse than everyone, he will be the last man standing at the end of the day and that's just depressing as fuck... and I think he knows this and thats what keeping him from doing his things and focusing on whats left of his best friend
This was such a inspirational, heart warming podcast. These guys are awesome for what they are doing and it's amazing to say the least. I wish this young man the best of luck and to keep strong!
GOD I was waiting for this episode. I first saw Chris on DemolitionRanch and I knew he wanted to meet H3. I'm so glad he got his wish fulfilled and I'm so glad to see him again.
Love how you talked about wanting to help people more on a podcast like 3 weeks ago, and now your putting it into effect. WELL DONE GUYS, proper strong effort, we need more creators like you.
Hila looks so happy and blessed to be apart of this. I think I can really see like her non jokster side and how much she loves Ethan here, and how proud she is of him and his and her impact on the community that watches h3h3
Bless him. My father had a successful bone marrow transplant. We checked his siblings and the rest of the family... none of us, sadly, matched. But, as you read at first, we found someone :-) My father passed at 58 due to complications. His bone marrow transplant was 100% Good luck to this awesome young man. I can just see him being successful! Thank you, H3, Ethan and Hila and Philly D! I’m not trying to be dark- just letting you know I’ve seen a beautiful transplant done. So much love from Boston , Ma!
Karma Aftermath But then he said, "Oh, I thought you were going to make an Ian, like Idubbbz joke, like oh Ian the producer is here", I think he was hoping they'd say it's Ian the producer but Ian/Idubbbz would come on.
My husbands brother was saved by a bone marrow donor! We have been on the registry for years, of course. Also, when my husband enlisted in the army he did have to go through the DOJ or something to be put back on. Honestly, it’s changes your life when it hits so close to come. Every single person who needs help, to me, is someone else’s “Zac”. A son/daughter, a sibling, a friend, even a parent.
Thanks for making so many people aware of this, Ethan and Hila! I really respect that. I signed up to be a donor - kind of nervous about the process, but it might make a world of difference for someone.
As somebody who has donated bone marrow to cure my little sister with leukemia, it is so important that people join the bone marrow registry! We got lucky that I was a close enough match, but had that not happened, my sister would have been in this same exact position. The donation procedure is somewhat painful but you aren't awake for it, and afterwords you know that you are directly giving somebody another chance at life. Thank you H3H3 for posting this video!
I'm sorry i ever doubted the caliber of your character ethan. Im on my way to Los Angeles now for the improve club show. If you guys have a "be the match" sign up rally in the parking lot, I'll be fist in line!
This dude really takes the jokes well and is honestly great. I will say though... he does drill a bit deep with his cancer jokes. But whatever. He's such a loveable dude. I wish the best
I feel it. I was diagnosed with a rare nerve sarcoma over summer. I am also going to college at the time. I think that the hardest part of having cancer at my age is not being able to connect with anyone. I've tried going to therapists and I've tried talking to friends but nothing has put my heart more at rest then the beautiful personality that Chris has. Chris you are truly a hero and just by your example you will save many lives. Thank you for being who you are.
Honestly Ethan bro I hope you know lots of us feel that way, breakups, illness or anything you help us all get through hard times. Thank you so much and we love you too
Jesus Christ virtually no one waits until they're 21 to drink here, it seems useless to have that be the law they should change it to 18 already. like you can smoke cigarettes and kill your lungs at 18 but not have a glass of wine? lol
heat4yoass im sorry i made a joke saying pp bone when in reality there is only flesh and blood i sincerely apologize and i hope you have a wonderful day
As someone who's also been battling Leukemia since 2009, this is an incredible thing you guys are doing. Getting a genetic mutation in your cancer like that is insane. I hope you're able to pull through and find a donor! I wish you two all the best.
He's Asian, he's just trying to make it clear about what Asians he is looking for. Not Indian not middle eastern. He wants East Asian, the problem is is that most people don't know what East Asian means.
I don't think anyone initially thinks of Indian or middle eastern when they hear the word asian. It's usually Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Cambodian etc.
In July 2017 I lost someone very special to me but because he was a registered organ donor he was able to save lives. I obviously can't donate my organs (except my kidney of course), and I can't donated blood because of my size. Since then I have become an registered organ donor and today I just entered to be on the bone marrow registry. Thank you for sharing your story, thank you H3H3 for giving them a platform. I may not save lives in the end but at least I tried.
I don't know how much of it was the self promotion aspect, and I'm not a huge fan of Reddit mods because there are many that let it go to their heads as if they hold some sort of actual power in society, but they did admit to using multiple accounts to upvote their own posts.
I listened to this episode as it came out 5 years ago, and because of it, I joined two bone marrow registries since their story was so so moving. I think about this episode a lot- it’s so beautiful and painful and human.
Been following this story for a while. These dudes are so down to earth and real. It's interesting (and sad) to hear this guy's story! It breaks my heart that his friend's parents aren't supporting him. If he were my kid i'd be SO proud of him. He has all the time in the world to go back to college, he may not have much longer with his buddy! I lost my mom to cancer that she battled since her childhood. It's rough. Thanks for doing this Ethan, Hila and Phil!
I genuinely love Ethan and Hila. They're such wonderful people and the fact that they're becoming famous is great. I hope they don't change like other people have. Such genuine amazing lovely people. The fact that they're using their fame and abilities to help is a blessing. Love you guys
I hope this doesn’t get buried but if this guy wants to go to a college a college should give him a massive scholarship EDIT: I mean for his friend who dropped out after this phase in his life has happened and if he wanted it. But for both of them if they want too but I agree that they have better things to do with there life at the moment they are such an inspiration and deserve to find a bone marrow match 😊
Because of this video I have signed up to get tested to be put on the eligible donor list. Hopefully I can be a match for Chris or anyone else waiting for donation. I grew up with the mindset that I did not want to donate any part of my body. That has changed in recent years. The change came two years ago when I found out that my friend of, then, 22 years needed a kidney transplant. His wife put up a plea for everyone to get tested. I registered, went in the very next day to get tested and the day after that was a confirmed match. On the 22nd of this month it will be my final medical follow up after donating. Even after that procedure I still had in my mind the old mentality about bone marrow donation that it was very painful to get tested, etc. Watching this video changed that mindset for me so yet again I have jumped into the deep end (which is never quite as deep as it seems) and we'll see if I can get another opportunity help someone else's life. Good luck Chris! And thank you Ethan and Hila for dedicating time and encouraging viewers to consider donating.
So much positivity Ethan I love you and Hila but I’m so glad you helped this dude out and made one of his dreams come true. Chris I hope you beat the shit out of cancer and keep rocking man
One of the most interesting, most entertaining and most inspiring videos you guys have ever done. Hell, one of the best on the internet. Those guys are incredible.
Iv'e been watching these guys since they blew up on reddit and they are the best! They are doing so much for awareness and other people fighting cancer! Papa Bless!
Lol Well anyway, bone marrow grows back. That was something I didn't know about before finding about these guys. I always thought bones grow, then they stop and that's it.
I love all of your podcasts, even if I don’t know the guest, by the end of it im a fan of them! Keep up the great work- your efforts will definitely be rewarded ❤️ Thank you for the quality content
Jesus christ. These guys made me smile so much i just laughed the whole way through. They've saved many lives already, but they are also spreading such an inspiring story about how helping people is the best way to fill the voids in us. Even when your facing the unimaginable. Much much love and prayer from me
Everything about this podcast has been phenomenal and one of my favourites thus far. Philly D, Ethan and Hila are amazing, these guys are amazing, it is such a serious topic and highly morbid and has been made light hearted and a great watch. Really good stuff!
Wish more people were commenting on the amazing caliber of that friend! Everyone could say they'd drop everything and risk losing a career and a place to stay and all that time for a friend but I think the amount of people with that kind of heart would be fairly rare. Props to everyone in this situation but most of all to that friend, I wish the world was filled with you
People that NEED to be on this show: -Egoraptor -Jacksepticeye -Eric Andre -Ben Shapiro -iDubbbz (Again) -Joe Santagato -Pyrocynical -Ksi -ComedyShortsGamer -Nudah If I think of more I will edit this and put them on.
Chris is going through chemo. I am just a follower concerned about the charity that his cancer battle started has taken an all or nothing approach. One list one life is run solely by Dillon Hill and Clay Stevens and these two are benefiting personally from the donations there at their site. If you want to keep helping Chris and following his journey @guy_named_chris through Instagram. There is a link there for Chris if you want to further help him with expenses. All the funds from the gofundme there go 100% to Chris. Chris and his family are the real deal. I am not working for Chris but I support the continuation of his story. Also the bone marrow donations at be the match are always available to save a life.
Saw these guys on GMM and signed up. Still waiting to get the swab. Thank you h3h3 by spreading this awareness. I hope that more people sign up. Hopefully one day, all of the country will be on the registry.
I’m not trying to be dark- just letting you know I’ve seen a beautiful transplant done.
So much love from Boston , Ma!
Respect! I'm glad that the youtube-community can come together for these kind of things. God bless you guys!
I feel like he really wanted idubbbz here :(
Yah I bet Phil was like gee thanks 😂😂😂
well, all of us want idubbz back on the podcast :'D
Weaver Beats he was talking about Ian the intern
no he said Ian idubbbz
Just joined the donor (serious)
Hold on to the $5k and I'll just take the handy. (Also serious)
Take the 5k and donate it
250 handies to be exact
20BUCKS=20BUCKS
How do I donate hands?
yeah, what happens if someone under 18 matches?
100bucks
yeah -Hila
She's so well spoken
What a wonderful phrase.
Philly D is such a good dude.
Guys I'd like to share the news that our friend has indeed got a donor from Europe
I'm sorry i ever doubted the caliber of your character ethan. Im on my way to Los Angeles now for the improve club show. If you guys have a "be the match" sign up rally in the parking lot, I'll be fist in line!
MisFit ToyMaker that's going to be a painfull line
The promise was a handjob...
fisting works too
bootsmanaa to sign up isn’t painful. Please sign up. I have leukemia as well.
Joe Joseph I'll take two.
Fists.
._.
My mom has CLL, a form of Leukaemia this really really hit home for me. Thanks for being part of the podcast Phil. This is the best podcast.
This dude really takes the jokes well and is honestly great. I will say though... he does drill a bit deep with his cancer jokes. But whatever. He's such a loveable dude. I wish the best
H3H3 keeps my heart beating.
i watched chris and dylan on GMM, immediately registered to be a marrow donor
i’m glad he gets to be on the h3 podcast too!
H3h3 is the TH-cam Ellen surprising people with TH-cam celebrities.
Thank you so much and we love you too
Really great episode, guys :)
It's so odd hearing about American drinking culture to me. 21 seems so old.
Jesus Christ virtually no one waits until they're 21 to drink here, it seems useless to have that be the law they should change it to 18 already. like you can smoke cigarettes and kill your lungs at 18 but not have a glass of wine? lol
You can enlist in the army and die but can't buy alcohol
cherry c. You can drive a car, BUT YA CANT DRINK ALCOHOL
You can drink whenever your parents let you hear, and buy anything up to 16,5% when you're 16, the rest when you're 18.
Jesus Christ in heaven?
*Hears ethan will give a handy*
Me at the donation center: dog idgaf, take my whole skeleton just leave my pp bone
What are you 12?
heat4yoass naw nigga 11
Sounds about right
heat4yoass im sorry i made a joke saying pp bone when in reality there is only flesh and blood i sincerely apologize and i hope you have a wonderful day
kam the ham yeah there is you don’t know about it? It’s called the erectus
As someone who's also been battling Leukemia since 2009, this is an incredible thing you guys are doing. Getting a genetic mutation in your cancer like that is insane. I hope you're able to pull through and find a donor! I wish you two all the best.
Thank you, Phil! Thank you Chris, thank you Dillon, thank you Ethan. This is a beautiful group of human beings.
I love this guy, saw him on Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia reddit! Love his tattoo and his attitude
do you have a link? i wanna see this now lol
Fuck yeah Phil!
Kerry Cronic Vlogs love your vids kerry
When I was taking Japanese my Sensei would always yell at us "Oriental is a rug. Not people." lol
These guys are truly inspirational. They've done so much good. Top respect to Ethan, Hila and Philly D helping them in their cause
Yeah reddit admins treat you like you uploaded gore if you share your own content.
that's pretty shitty of mods to do.
Whats wrong with gore?
The only place i feel safe to post is r/freefolk
Chicken Whisperer
What's right with it?
I don't know how much of it was the self promotion aspect, and I'm not a huge fan of Reddit mods because there are many that let it go to their heads as if they hold some sort of actual power in society, but they did admit to using multiple accounts to upvote their own posts.
Nah seriously if the handy is a real part of the deal, Im 1105% down
Much respected episode. God Bless anyone who is fighting cancer.
Ethan and Hila should reach out to Hot Ones and they can probably help cross the hottest pepper off of the list in some form or another.
Yeah that why they would already have a contact to the show.
I am so happy to hear that he survived.
he was recently on demolition ranch and i remember him telling meeting h3 was one of his top wishes. Good to see him make it. 👌
I never expected to cry watching an H3 Podcast. Mad respect to everyone in that room.
These guys were such natural and entertaining guests. Legit one of the best episodes so far.
GET THESE KIDS ON HOT ONES W/ FIRST WE FEAST PLS
First time i've been this early to a h3 podcast. Never heard of these guys until now, and I'm sure as heck glad i clicked on this video.
Frankly, I've regained all respect for you Ethan.
Did i miss out on something? Why did you lose respect in the first place? (genuinely asking)
I genuinely love Ethan and Hila. They're such wonderful people and the fact that they're becoming famous is great. I hope they don't change like other people have. Such genuine amazing lovely people. The fact that they're using their fame and abilities to help is a blessing. Love you guys
So all three of these guys don’t have the best lives, but they’re still helping people. Mad props.
The best h3podcast.. Without a fucking doubt
So happy you got a match! Congratulations that news in the newest podcast honestly made my day!
so happy right now for him
I hope this doesn’t get buried but if this guy wants to go to a college a college should give him a massive scholarship
EDIT: I mean for his friend who dropped out after this phase in his life has happened and if he wanted it. But for both of them if they want too but I agree that they have better things to do with there life at the moment they are such an inspiration and deserve to find a bone marrow match 😊
What he is getting, can't be learned in any college. I hope his mom realizes that.
A Very Nice Guy yes yes I agree but I meant for his friend- sorry if that wasn’t clear enough in the comment
ahhhh gotcha. Yes in that case I agree 1000%
A Very Nice Guy
You live up to your name.
Chris I hope you beat the shit out of cancer and keep rocking man
Phil seemed so uncomfortable for some of the bits.
I knew nothing about this really and 5 minutes into this video I registered!
These guys are great comedically. Shock jock radio vibes. Bless up. U smart.
One of the most interesting, most entertaining and most inspiring videos you guys have ever done. Hell, one of the best on the internet. Those guys are incredible.
Iv'e been watching these guys since they blew up on reddit and they are the best! They are doing so much for awareness and other people fighting cancer! Papa Bless!
I read on the internet that people have like 200 bones. Shit man, I'm using like 10 of them MAX. Where do I sign up to ship the extras to this dude?
deathbycoleslaw lol he doesn't need bones, it's bone marrow
don't be greedy with your bones man, there are other people out there
Lol Well anyway, bone marrow grows back. That was something I didn't know about before finding about these guys. I always thought bones grow, then they stop and that's it.
Kurai ChanZ (face palm) I'll guess you have never broken a bone
Nope
Now I want him to meet idubbbz
I love all of your podcasts, even if I don’t know the guest, by the end of it im a fan of them! Keep up the great work- your efforts will definitely be rewarded ❤️ Thank you for the quality content
Gisselle 😍
Love you guys! Just signed up on BeTheMatch, and I've never been more excited for something like this!
Jesus christ. These guys made me smile so much i just laughed the whole way through. They've saved many lives already, but they are also spreading such an inspiring story about how helping people is the best way to fill the voids in us. Even when your facing the unimaginable. Much much love and prayer from me
My son is joining the registry right now. I hope you find your match!
Ethan better give the donor a handy.
I’m waiting for the three-headed Cerberus of a podcast with all the Vsauces. Papa let this be done!
A whole podcast for these guys to put their message out there... wow. I have a lot of respect for you guys.
Everything about this podcast has been phenomenal and one of my favourites thus far. Philly D, Ethan and Hila are amazing, these guys are amazing, it is such a serious topic and highly morbid and has been made light hearted and a great watch. Really good stuff!
4 minutes in..... The cancer..... The sibling suicide....im sure the episode was great and best of luck to this kid but that's enough for me.
Huge respect for Dillon too. He's the Uber-Bro.
This is why h3 is the best
Wish more people were commenting on the amazing caliber of that friend! Everyone could say they'd drop everything and risk losing a career and a place to stay and all that time for a friend but I think the amount of people with that kind of heart would be fairly rare. Props to everyone in this situation but most of all to that friend, I wish the world was filled with you
Just registered, thank you Ethan for bringing these guys on and having them share their story. So inspiring
People that NEED to be on this show:
-Egoraptor
-Jacksepticeye
-Eric Andre
-Ben Shapiro
-iDubbbz (Again)
-Joe Santagato
-Pyrocynical
-Ksi
-ComedyShortsGamer
-Nudah
If I think of more I will edit this and put them on.
I don’t think Shapiro would ever come on. Lol
Jurel true, but it would still be funny to see him on
jacksfilms and comment etiquette again with more alcohol
Paige Meier and more conspiracies
felixtheweeb, agreed
just know you are an inspiration, even if you aren't fighting anything you're an inspiration to be happy :)
" My Hand job, Priceless" -H3H3
Saw these guys on GMM and signed up. Still waiting to get the swab. Thank you h3h3 by spreading this awareness. I hope that more people sign up. Hopefully one day, all of the country will be on the registry.
Chillest dudes ever. Seriously inspiring. I'll be looking into adding myself to the registry soon.
