You can shoot to stardom at an early age and then before you know it you’re a has-been and basically unemployable. It’s like the title of the Janet Jackson song “What Have You Done for Me Lately?”. I suspect some of the drug overdoses were either suicides or a particular Entertainer’s way of trying to cope with the pressures of fame. There has been much debate as to whether Marilyn Monroe’s death was suicide or an accidental drug overdose - my own personal belief is that it was accidental although a case can easily be made that it was intentional. Whichever one it was it was a sad loss - MM was a very troubled woman - some people thought she was bipolar - and had a very unstable childhood. RIP to her and the other Entertainers on this list 😥
