It sounds like you’ve had an adventurous summer 😊. I just finished my son’s kindergarten year. We used AAR too. He wasn’t much of a fan, but we kept with it because it was working. I bought one of Beautiful Feet’s programs for my fourth grader. I hope she likes it!
A little too adventurous 🫠. For AAR I went on their website and printed out the free downloadable games and have them all laminated and we cycle through those when doing flash cards and fluency sheets and that seems to make it way more fun because it can get a little dry! Are you still using charter funds for your curriculum? Were you able to purchase from The Good and the Beautiful with charter funds? I'm trying to make my selections and not sure if my charter will allow it. Thanks in advance for the insight!
We aren’t doing charter this year… Mostly because I knew I wanted to use religious materials and our charter wasn’t allowing us to even turn in stuff if it wasn’t approved curriculum and I already owned some of the curriculum. So we are on our own this year! Good luck though! Some charter schools are more relaxed than others so hopefully you can figure something out!
