I’m more amazed that you didn’t get the speed bug, every time I play on this map it’s a guarantee slow down. Honestly this bug has costed me more games than I have lost naturally.
Evil Ash seems proper shite. Like no redeeming qualities. Either they need to give him much more HP or much higher damage. He seems to be the slow punisher for missed dodges etc, but he just doesn't have the toolset for that either. They definitely shouldn't make him faster, I think that would subvert the character. But make him an actual threat. Make him imposing. Necro is already all about summoning a horde of skellies. It tests the survivors' reflexes and positioning, with a hail of spears. Evil Ash is supposed to be the ultimative expression of the punishment for this, capitalising on survivors losing oversight of the horde or focusing on a single mob. He's supposed to come in, surrounded by a guard of skellies, and then take a nasty swing at some unfortunate survivor focused on dodging said skellies. But he deals so low damage, has fuckall stagger, zero follow-up, zero chase, and on top he crumbles faster than the skellies do. Skellies fight on without limbs and have shields, and honestly feel like they have a higher health pool too. Which they don't, but it shows how weak Evil Ash comes across as.
I gree. However, my skeletons do not pose a wall of spears against survs. They are there mostly to catering the survs dopamine hit every time they get slaughtered without retaliating a single blow.
GG! Perfect example of how balanced this game is based on strategic decision making. That castle was no place to wait for demon after that second objective. Also, Middi, you simply nailed it. You are the demolition man🚗☠️
My take on Evil Ash is its best to play him like a buff for your units with the occasional damage potential. He can kinda hang back and support. Like a true Necromancer he is a bit squishy. It would be tough if he was as unkillable as Warrior Ash. I wish you could make a viable build focused on his abilities but you just can't live long enough for them to matter.
At 22 mins, you can see like 5 ai mobs just sitting on the side taunting. Ive seen a few reddit posts talking about it, but the ai needs to be more agro in multiplayer. Doesnt matter how many you spawn if they dont do anything whats the point. Demons really need a buff or more ways to interact with survivors besides basic possession
I don't even know why they added the "Demon slow down in buildings." No one asked for it, and all it has done is cause problems. Remember the old adage? "IF IT AIN'T BROKE... DON'T FIX IT."
Necro elites are great for burst damage. If you expect to get surrounded immediately, going into a heavy combo or their slam attack right as you possess them can hit for upwards of 600 on everyone around you. They're just not great against hunters or chasing someone down.
I wish when you posses a survivor you could do more that just waste ammo, attack and run around. would love to use corrupted abilities heck why not add a sacrifice option to use their recourses to get threat lvl just have to do a long animation and start sneaking the support away to take their shems
It usually pays off looting the whole castle, if it is at the start of the match. Usually (a) there is plenty of chests with great weapons and tonics; (b) it is fairly easy to dodge some traps; (c) a low level demon would be able only to spawn sparring bags, if you don’t dodge all of the traps; (e) there is an infuriating slowdown for the demon in the indoors areas, which allow for quick escapes; (d) there is a convenient altar inside the castle; (e) there is a getaway car just outside the castle walls, so you can add insult to injury after evading the demon, while counting up your loot.
I’m assuming the demon slowing has to do with the size of the avatar they use for the demons “body” while it flies. But when you’re possessing a unit you’re in first person, and your size is smaller to fit the room.
I feel like people keep rage quitting when I'm survivor as soon as it's a Puppeteer. Which may be skewing my bias towards hating Puppeteer cause the Boss with the teleporting hits, stun lightning, invisibility and insanely strong Possessions feels overwhelming.
I bought the game on recent sale… 2/3 matches i played in the first hour disconnected me… Granted I don’t have the best internet set up at the moment, but no error message, no splash nothing Oh well I’m more content to watch Middi anyway
They need to nerf cars and infinites some loops especially in the army of darkness map you can literally infinitely loop a demon as survivor Kelly and Henry the red can do this super easy I think an easy nerf for cars is just make the demon just as faster than the car
or limit the amount that are on each map because they're literally everywhere and there's just no counter because possessing them does nothing but waste energy just so they can get right back into it.
I love the broken necromancer combo I haven’t lost a game as demon since, I mainly do it to grind up points and xp and to counter good hunters that you could never target until basically everyone else is dead
So around the same time this video was being recorded, I was in a match as a survivor with a lumberjack axe against an ai opponent. I was soloing the pages while the rest of the team went for the dagger. The demon was on me so I kept fighting it.When nothing was happening, I was just messing around and swinging my axe randomly and when I did the 4th strong attack, a portal opened in front of me and my character sliced open the deadite's stomach before he could even get on the ground from hopping out of the portal. I think it was a trap because it was in one of the spots that would seem like there would be one in that spot.
It doesn't even matter how many cars you bust since they always respawn anyway. Just yet another reason why this game is so broken and survivor favored.

He was better when you could do 3 swings then dodge towards them and so the 3 combo again
Apparently you still can, you need to use ress ability and dodge

AoD map definitely favors demons. Especially with loot goblin survivors that spend 10 minutes in the castle.

this infinite combo needs to be fixed in the next patch, Nothing should be able to infinite combo in this game... demons or survivors
