I love Volgun’s use of atmosphere to make this video as unnerving as possible. The whispers, the mask switching emotions, the laughing in the background, and the custom model he made for the video. This is why he’s the GOAT. Not to mention the fact he puts on an American accent throughout all of his videos with zero cracks.
Plenty of SCP's are deadly and destructive, or scary, or straight up impossible to understand. But the Mask is one of the few that I think can be described as absolutely EVIL, and by god does it fill that role in spades.
The mask is from SCP-2264 (Alagadda) another dimension and it used to be one of the lords that use to rule over Alagadda before being banish to our dimension.
Since you've reacted to this SCP, you might want to consider The Explosing series video on the Hanged King. That video should give you some insight as to how this mask came to be the way it is.
tbh 035 kinda got screwed he was the only one doing his job mainly cus it was what was best for him but still being thrown through a portal to a random planet then finding out its controlled by backwards savages was probs a realy ego bash to him
you should check out the exploring series video on the hanged king, it gives a possible backstory for this SCP at some point in the video while also having a lot of other cool lore about the mysterious anomalous figure known as the hanged king. Also, if you think THIS level of mind-affecting stuff is terrifying, you should see SCP-3125
Honestly you should react to the sedition series. They even have a video with this scp, and there is a viewing order for it. I would recommend learning about the scps in the videos first though
035 is also quite the liar so using it to gain information isn’t really that viable. 035 also claims to know of 049 from before containment and 049 backs up that claim and shows hatred and/or anger towards 035
I recommend reacting to scp 3000 by the exploring series. I think his video goes more in depth about the scp than most and it's a lot more than you see at first glance a lot like this scp, and even if you don't, I look forward to seeing more of your reactions to the scp universe and your tf2 comic reactions. see you in your next video (also there are videos about scp 148 but they're pretty short, your choice if you want to react to it on video)
I hope you see this, as its one of my favorite thought experiments; What if SCP-096 wore SCP-035? An immortal creature that cannot die and the smartest mask in the world. The corrosive liquid can’t kill 096, and if 035 can take over, it now has an invincible body.
The only weakness being that 096 technically has no higher brain function to kill off, meaning anyone seeing the face would definitely still send it into a frenzy that the mask likely couldn't control. To beat it, you'd have to deliberately trigger 096 and then whilst in the frenzy state, pull 035 off
Ahh, another one of the most popular SCPs. Some even ship it with 049 (the Plague Doctor). In my opinion, shipping anyone or anything in the SCP universe is kinda cursed. Anyway, I heard that if you visit 035's article, there's a 50% chance the image will be the comedy mask and 50% chance it will be the tragedy mask. Pretty cool.
one day you gotta react to the "SCP Sedition" series by *TatsTopVideos* basically interviews with different SCPs that are fully animated with realistic models & environments, great voice acting too SCP 035 is the focus of one interview...it's amazing how much they nail his character
Instead of rebuilding the walls over and over, why not build the new walls a little further away so maybe it won't be able to affect it, at least as much
then it'll try to adapt to the new and larger area, while also giving more foundation personnel more thing to clean and give the mask higher chance to affect their mind. it's better to keep it on the same small space.
