We do need to see at least one of the actual ghost endings, so I'm down for more! I found it funny how the mood completely changed in the "speed run" from being cautious and worried to "Whatever! Screw it all!" :)
It was a pretty stupid location for the ghost, also having a prompt just as it shows up that makes the screen go black for the entire duration that the ghost is there... I'm surprised even the editor saw it.
BAM! Finally, something I can explain. The date below with Pon is Javan calendar, rarely used nowadays. I guess it tied to arabic calendar and old sanskrit calendar maybe. The animal sound in the speed run, the first one is tokek, some kind of gecko. And second one is cingcuing, some kind of bird. Both indicate bad omen. Fun fact, in some belief, Kuntilanak shows the opposite of things. Like, if you're hear her crying, it means she's actually happy. And if you're hear her voice far away, it mean she's near. And, something interesting, if you can stab kuntilanak with a big steel nail right in the top of her head, she can be human again. You can marry her for good fortune. I guess there's an old movie about this. And last note, Indonesian ghost kind of different to Japanese ghost
Pamali actually not always tied to ghost. It's some kind of traditional belief. Some of the kind of funny. Like, if you sit on the table, your entire life will be full of debt. If you eat while lying down, then you'll have big head. If you're standing at the door, you'll be single forever. Kind of like that. Maybe it's mainly to scare children so they behave. But also, there are mystical one like things on this game.
@@xXxSkyViperxXx South east asian ghosts are kind of the same. And they're the most frightening. No poltergeist, they just straight up eat your baby or have sex with your wife. Brutal
@@malas.nonton yeah lol like random rooftop walking ghosts that eat pregnant women's babies without even touching them and disembodied flying vampire women
I think I had a nightmare because of the previous video on this game. I was in a haunted apartment somewhere in semi-rural Asia with a coworker/friend, and we were there to get rid of the ghost, or at least find out why it was there. I had to take a poo and went to the bathroom in the apartment while my friend took a nap in the bedroom, and while I was on the toilet, I got mega-haunted. Loud, creepy whistling in my ear, shadows flying across the room, cold bursts of air from the ventilation system, and the sound of an old radio program in some Asian language. On top of that, the toilet paper was really poor quality. Super spooky dream, 10/10.
i had one of these but it was semi-lucid so i had some control, i was being hounted by something under the bed and i was too scared to put my feet down, but then i fucked myself by thinking "so long i dont put my feet down i should be fine, it wont just reach for my ankles from below the bed"... Well, whatd'ya guess happened next? creepy ass hands grab my by the ankles from below the bed (had like 4 elbows too) and then i think "at least its not pulling me under the bed" and it pulls me under the bed... "at least its dark and i cant see it" Phone rings in the dream and i see its face. its like a rotten, wrinkly petroleum covered cat from the movie Alice in wonderland (the tim burton one) i woke up in a cold sweat and with my ass so clenched i pooped spaguetti for the next couple days.
Love the banter between them it’s like they are married or brothers. A real honest friendship. I say brothers as they can say what they like to each other.
I think these types of games are much scarier than something like Resident Evil, Dead space or Amnesia. Since its mostly the atmosphere and not wanting to piss off the evil that keeps you on edge and not the expectation of something to jump out at you on every corner. Jump scares are a really cheap and shitty way to get reaction. I like it when they put something in a corner or just change something subtle that is easy to miss, but that makes you feel there's something off about the situation, that's horror done right. I recently played through Dead Space again, and you get used to the monsters jumping out at you and the visions stuff pretty quickly, after that it just turns into a shooter with limited ammo and bullshit enemy spawn triggers.
19:19 For the curious, Yasin is an Islamic religious text, which could be read daily to ease your pains (morning and night) or more specifically for the souls of the dead. I wonder what the ghost thinks about that :) I am not sure if it will anger her or bless her?
I bought an Oriental themed dungeons and dragons monster book. The best part of it are the ghosts. There's the crappy ghost who haunts filthy outhouses and bathrooms and who will ask you red or blue. If you say red he tries to cut you up with his long claws. If you say Blue he will strangle you to death. If you say nothing he will possess you and make you commit suicide. you have to say something odd like no thank you sir I already have a cloak. There's the spirit who never lead a lifestyle of any real meaning so he wasn't good enough to be rewarded or bad enough to be punished. So he has to wonder the earth looking for some one to testify before the judges of heaven. So he'll tell you his entire life story in excruciating detail and if you interup it at any point or look disinterested he will swear revenge and not rest till you are dead. My favorite was the mother who died before she could give birth to her child. She asks strangers passing her to hold her baby. If you accepts the baby gets increasing and incredibly heavy. If you drop the baby she attacks and kills you. If you manage to hold on the baby is born and the mother passes away permanently.

I realized what this game is - and it's biggest issue. Remember those old, super frustrating Sierra point&click adventure games like King's quest or Space Quest? That's basically this game. It has the same/similar mechanics: Awkward puzzles requiring inside knowledge; Out-of-nowhere deaths; Pixel hunting... The only thing it has going for it is a horror flair.
