Rod's commentary of his playthrough is on Bob Ross' level of comforting for some reason.
It's got all those happy little moments.
Bikers riding on the edge of the bridge are just happy little accidents ❤
And a little bit of Winnie the Pooh
Very soothing voice lol. That's actually a great attribute to have, it makes listening to someone for an extended time so easy.
I was just thinking that! Such a relaxing voice!
The transparency of the development of this game should be an industry standard.
There's a reason why not many devs do that. Software development is a really fragile process, you add one thing, and all other parts might not work well with the new stuff. I bet there're dedicated programmers for the showcase.
Kind of like you need to use double-sided tapes to keep the furniture in place, film a video to show people how the house could look like. Things might break during the video, another fix, continue filming, and the tear things down because the fixes just gonna make things worse in the long run
Thats how amateur people develop, for professional teams and companies, people use unit testing so that things doesn’t break up…
@@joaquinsantana6903 I used to think big companies do things a lot better. Then one time I saw the development history of several versions of Windows. Then I realised, we are all the same. Maybe they have a really extensive way of automated testing. But you can't follow that in every step. You figure things out by breaking things and making shitty prototypes, and hopefully throw that away and rebuild a better version of it.
If you don't have time / budget, you wrap something on top of the shitty prototype and ship it.
@@li_tsz_fung well, I work for a big company company too, while I agree with your point, commonly there are QA teams that do some sort of testing, probably not everyone but paradox hasn’t disappointed until now, so I guess they should have something at least up to a certain point to prevent regressions
you should check out paralives (another life sim) too if you haven’t already, there’s literally a roadmap with every feature they’ve already implemented and plan on implementing, as well as some that are considered!
-OpenWorld.
-Color wheel.
-Business.
-Hotels
-Car (Customizable?😯)
-Gardening.
-Go shopping outside or online.
-Groceries and shopping online packages delivered by Delivery van to your house?!?!
-You can't drive if you've had alcohol.
-With Pad Thai, This game is already sold out for all Thai life sim fans lol.
-A tourist bus that your people in town can actually interact with.
-Real converstaion.
-Laundry.
-And knitting!!!
All of these in the base game ?????? Girl... Rod Humble doesn't play with you. He's here to give you EVERYTHING he said!
But I'm 90% sure weather and pets are coming in packs... Paradox is not shy of throwing at your face 700 DLCs
@@heirofthestars I certainly hope so, because I intentionally avoided both of those for Sims 4, after uninstalling them for Sims 3. I can ignore knitting if I don't want it, but I can't ignore a thunderstorm or stray dogs digging up my yard.
@@MagnusItland Well I think simply making them capable of being turned off in the settings would be a more logical and wiser decision than making them full-price DLCs instead. A lot of people do want to watch the snowfall as they chill cosily with their pets next to their chimneys without having to pay 80$.
5 of those features r literally dlcs in ts4
If they make good dlcs, I'll buy them.
They can’t drive if they’ve had alcohol and have to wait for it to wear off. Definitely a very cool feature, Rod! Still watching but I’m so impressed so far.
Imagine if they drive after drink alcohol and there's a chance of being stoped or fined
Also this hopefully means alcohol actually has a visual and gameplay affect on characters. I wanna see them stumbling home drunk
Would be even cooler if they did drive but the car was uncontrollable/they could get in trouble with the law aha
@smach2674 agreed
The only way that it should be a thing to have characters drive drunk is if there’s collision physics with other vehicles and humans 🤣
I just want to say that I absolutely love all the vehicles parked so chaotically around town. I think it's hilarious!
What's life without a little chaos? 😁
Alberta drivers be like
@@MugshotMidge This is very true. Now all we need are parking lots so you can have one truck taking up three spots 🤣
@@lifebyyou on the body's will the shoe still be on?

How humble of rod (pun intended) to think he needed any introduction. The man is only second in sims lore to the legendary will wright himself!
@@jaybee4288 where did you hear this? Nah, pretty sure if that were true he would have never been put in charge of this project.
Oh how I’ve missed a life sim game with Rod. The sims 2 was a masterpiece and i still play it
Wait did Rod help make the sims 2? I know there's a sim in free time with the same name but I didn't realize this is the same person
@@RitzyRue Dang now that's impressive. I don't know much about who worked on the first three games. But I can tell this game is in great hands
@@jaybee4288 Hearsay!
@@jaybee4288definitely an EA employee 😂
@@jaybee4288 eh.. it would do you a solid if you bring allegations against someone while carrying proof or some data to corroborate it. Otherwise, the entire statement seems invalid and insulting.
This might sound weird but I'm kind of fascinated by how much details the leaves on the trees have 😅
The environment team is killing it
YO
I saw that & I was like - hey if the rest of the graphics come up to these leaves - wooo chile, the game play will be AH-Mazing
Definitely noticed that too ❤
Street lights at night look nice.
I started playing the sims 3 when someone gave a copy of it to my daughter for her birthday years ago. She wasn’t interested but I got hooked. Now I’m 56 and still love playing the Sims. I love the open world and definitely the color wheel. I was so disappointed when the Sims 4 didn’t have those things. I’m really looking forward to Life by You!
Yeah, I really missed traveling around the town with my sims in Sims 4. Seeing this made me nostalgic.
Thats so cute!!!!
Same!! ❤️The sims 3 is amazing and I used to get so excited when a new expansion pack came out unlike the sims 4😂🥱
I feel that LBY is going to be generally more appealing to us OG simmers. A more mature feeling to it all
@@la_belle_heaulmiere I agree with that !(:
Im excited for its release
Regarding cooking meals, I hope there is a way to disable the feature of instantly buying ingredients. This is important as it makes the need to shop for ingredients online or at the grocery store essential gameplay rather than for storytelling purposes!
I agree I like when they go to the shop to buy groceries or do an online shop
Yes! I use a mod in sims 3 so they have to go to the store
love the little community manager notes throughout the video.
If you posted an hour long let’s play or even did a livestream I would’ve still watched the whole thing till the end, great job Rod 😁😁😁😁😁 I really hope we see more of these
me too, im excited to play
I LOVE that they can have dirty dishes in their sink and they don’t automatically wash them. It’s the tiny things like that that being so much life to the game!
Edit to add: THE END OF GAME SUMMARY IS SO CUTE!!! I absolutely love it. It shows how much love you guys have put into this game! Can’t wait to play it.
Thank you for look at more of the in game features. Christabella will dance her sadness away in the morning in her new socks😊
Like the way you think 💃
Bank loans, having to walk to vehicles, necessary ingredients for cooking and crafting, also did I see baby beanies and baby onesies 👀👀👀 I cannot wait til September!!! These are all things I've always wanted in a life sim.
@@jaybee4288 They do have children and babies and toddlers, but they are working on fleshing them out right now. They might not be there at the start of EA, but they are going to add them into the base game. Also what kind of sense would it make to have no babies, but have a baby onesie be an option for knitting? 🤨
@@jaybee4288you are very negative. The game is still heavily under development and they’re very transparent with this
Sounds great as Sims 4 didn’t have toddlers at launch either it took them 3 years to have what Sims 2 and Sims 3 had a launch.
*at launch
Interesting how he plays so zoomed out, more like dollhouse style. Wasn’t expecting that. Looking forward to being an early access helper on this!
Yeah, he told us he played like this, but it's interesting to see it in practice!
…do other people not normally play zoomed out like that? 😭
@@cornsumerNah i play very closely I only zoom when leaving or something bc I like seein the animations up close
@@findingbrookisame
I've noticed on The Sims people who record gameplay usually play like this and I can't stand it I rather see the characters up close inside of the room it gives better immersion and when I play I always play very close inside the room where I feel like I'm there and I'm inside of the house.
Don't you guys worry when we see bugs we know the game isn't done yet and you guys are still working on it, but for a game that's not done I love it and can't wait for September to play and get obsessed by it
I'm glad he flags it tho, because some folks still think Early Access means the game will be complete and you get it early if you pre-register.
@@TanyaOwens I'm glad he flags it because a certain other company would hide it. It shows honesty and that keyword - transparency from them.
Yes, it goes into EA (Early Access, not Electronic Arts ;-) ), which means it is playable, but noch totally finished and devs listen to input, bug reports, feature feedback and so on. That is a good method to include the community in order to release a game with the features the community really wants.
@@jaybee4288 Who says that's the full price? Once again you're talking your usual BS. Let's not ignore that your preciioouuss Sims is currently unfinished, costs over a $1000 for the full experience and given how broken it is you're still a beta tester.
What a sad little troll you are and even that's giving you too much credit.
@@jaybee4288 Its still better than sims 4 lol
I'm digging how the characters look. I like the daily grocery delivery situation they have going on. The world is huge as heck which I love. I love that you can actually drink alcohol and that affects your ability to drive - how cool is that ??
I don't mind my cars slowing down near walking humans and bikers - it adds realism to the game. OMG I love the fact that I can order food from restaurants and then decide whether to take them home or buy and eat in store !! FREAKING COOL !!!!!!!!
I love the recipes and how you have to buy spices to incorporate into your meal.
I love how you can hover over your neighbors house and actually see what they are doing.
Honestly its way too many new features that I love which is a good problem to have lol
#REALGAMEPLAYMATTERS
I can't stop thinking how cool this would be with ChatGPT integration - perfect game for it!
hopefully someone can mod it in !
Loving these realistic graphics
OMG, the knitting, the deliveries, the drama! I’m in love.
Did you guys notice the youman looked better now compared to previous ones? Or is it just me
Not just you. They've been incrementally looking better.
I would watch hours of Rod playing and being passionate of his creations
YES, I TEARED UP!! I LOVED THAT!!
I'm holding off buying more expansions for Sims 4 because I'm waiting for Life by You to release. :D
Just buy early access because the price may go up after it’s done with early access.
Me too.. I am done with TS4 honestly
Same here, but I don't think I will buy any packs until The Sims 4 is completed.
That way I can see how the competed series turns out and buy already patched packs at a discount. If they offer half-off packs along the way, I'll just snap them up whenever there is a sale.
same here guys
Save your money for LBY and dont let EA have any more money.
I was like, is there no video today? :( And suddenly, 27 minutes of happiness :D
This is exactly the type of video we need to be seeing. I hope Christabella wasn't deleted and we can see her live on day 2 of her existence and doing more things such as finding a job, maybe shopping at the clothing store, gathering those shells and crafting. I think these types of videos are better than solitary feature videos because everyone has expectations based on one single franchise alone, and it can be hard to imagine things being different and how that will work. But I also very much appreciate Rod's transparency with talking about bugs, and which features are still in process and which ones are being overhauled. I also really appreciate him mentioning which things in the game he likes, and which furniture he thought is nice, etc. I'm very excited for this game and already have many plans for my first playthrough when September comes.
I think there's a place for both types. For example, I enjoyed seeing more of the character creator. But this video definitely gives a better picture of what you're walking into.
I agree they should leave her in i think it would be a cute nod to those of us here from the beginning, she can be our Bella lolol
I was already amazed that there were vans to deliver packages or food (which is sad because that's how it was in The Sims 2 and 3 xD), and suddenly the townies come in a bus and stay at a hotel. They don't just appear spontaneously anywhere xD. It's these kinds of details that have me incredibly hyped.
I like that there’s a UBI option if you’re not ready to get them a job just yet for whatever reason. What an ideal world.
That was a truly great detail. You have the freedom to just spend time getting your human adjusted to the town.
I want to ride the bus when I been drinking 😂I didn't hear about a taxi. Still need work community lot population. Still excited to see them not wall through the cars and open the door. I was going to say it would be nice for the cars not the go ver the curb but I like how they don't hit parked cars
What we’re seeing from a game in pre early access is amazing and the quality can only go up such as lighting animations and other stuff!
I like the end of the day Synopsis.
And bank loans is something I've also wanted in a life sim.
I got many questions like :
- how long is a day ? ... the same like in the Sims that 24 minutes are 24 hours or adjustable ?
- do the characters die of starvation in the same time like in the Sims ? ... I wish it would take over a week or even in some cases 30 days without eating before they die
- how many can be in a household ?
- will pets got own "pet slots" or take up the slots of humans ?
- is it possible to be a mean or really hated person ?
- will the characters be able to recognize colors or other things (like body shapes , hair length) ?
- is it possible to adjust the intelligence of a character ? ..... I hope it's possible to adjust the IQ from very low to very high
Pad Thai? Realism more realistic than Sims? Count me in! You are a world treasure, Rod Humble.
@@jaybee4288 can you at least provide evidence
The human looking at the clothing your choosing, it’s the DETAILS !!!!
But question, are we able to control the flow of time during the world overview?
The parallel parking!!!!
Other question, is driving a skill, I saw the human parallel park, would love to see a human build traffic trying to parallel park 😂
Also thank you for making it an option to have them walk to their transportation as opposed to spawning the vehicle in front of you
@@Vampo09 I like that detail as well. (walking to their car)
Loved this video! Really gives a sense of where the game is at and where it's headed.
I agree!
This game is going to be one my favorite games. This game isn't even done and it's awesome!
Yeah I still don't know about this game 🤔 I wanted to adjust the camera angle and zoom the whole video lol, can we zoom IN? The Quests system is okay but what does the character WANT to do apart from have some fun (poor thing)? What are her goals and aspirations?? Why would she choose to do gardening vs something else? What hobbies are there, what's her personality and interests? What sort of job would she want to get if she got one? I get that it's early development but these are key things that need to be in place for a good lifesim.
Yay 27 minutes? Y'all spoil me! :D
Hope you enjoy! 💜
Oh I love this! It’s so funny how obsessed with gardening and crafting Rod is. As a gameplay focused player, as well as a family player, I’m super excited to see the family dynamics that can be brought in! Being able to set your job before the game?? Amazing! Houses being a more realistic price, also amazing! I like how interactions don’t exactly go how you expect them too, I love not being able to directly control (or just flat out imagine) the outcome that dialog can bring… also appreciate not having to be in the middle of the conversation all the time. I can not tell you how excited I am for the game, even in early development!
Releasing this on the same day as another disappointing "livestream" from the-game-who-shall-not-be-named is a great move, and also a very funny one.
I have to be honest, after I pre purchased this game and watched more and more videos about it I started feeling a little, ok, a lot apprehensive about it. I didn't like this, that or the other and I started thinking id wasted my money. But then I watched this, omg I actually feel really excited about it, the way they park their cars, the way they can't drive if they've had alcohol, the lighting in the game is amazing. I could go on.
I can't wait for early access. Thank you Rod!
Same!!!
@@jaybee4288are you new to PC games? Most PC games get released way before they are finished - it’s called early access. It allows people to play the game and give the devs recommendations. It also helps the studio continue building the game with funding. It’s very rare that a PC game is only put for sale once it’s “complete”

Very interesting, Rod! Noting the relationship panel, I really hope you show numerical scores next to the indicator bar (e.g. 73/100). Showing numbers and details like that are important to the simulation genre for readability and control. Also helpful to see how an interaction decreased or incremented the relationship by a specific number; hard to see with just a bar!

Omg! This is everything Sims 4 should have been BUT now I can say with confidence that even Sims 5 could never touch what this game is! I can’t wait for Life by You to release! ❤ Thank you for creating a life simulator game that the real OG Sims players can enjoy!
Even if EA pulled out their best The Sims 5 can never been anywhere near as good, simply because it's made for mobile as well. Games that are made for many systems always have to have massive compromises, and this one is even going to have to compromise for mobile phones. Even if EA put in a decent effort (which they just don't) The Sims 5 cannot be that good for this reason alone, let alone all the other reasons. And it's going to be aimed at 10 year olds anyway - just like the 'pretty' horses pack.
@@jaybee4288 Lol, I’ve played lots of early release games, so I’m not worried that this is or will be a scam.
@@jaybee4288 Take a chill pill. It has a lot of rough edges that will be ironed out and that people will need to accept as part of early access, but it already has substantially more gameplay than The Sims 4 did on release and there will be a lot more added because if you know what to look for, you can see that they've added in the flexibility to add a LOT more. I know you love The Sims 4. I see you running around TH-cam attacking anyone who says anything negative about The Sims 4. Go and play your favourite game and please stop trolling. I have games I love too, but we do have to step away from things we love in order to see the positives and negatives of games without rose-coloured glasses. And we need to know our own biases, and our own knowledge limitations. If we don't have gaming knowledge outside one game, then how the heck can we knowledgeably judge the potential of other games?
This guy is everywhere, lol, loving everything about The Sims 4, and hating every other life sim. And most of what he says is naive at best, and his facts are more often wrong than correct, even about The Sims games.
hoping the ability to open car doors will come later in the development
Rod's voice is so calm and endearing, I feel like I'm listening to an ASMR simulation version of David Attenborough 🥰. I hope Rod will get to showcase more of Life by You in the future! So pleasant and relaxing. Thank you to the LBY team for being so open with us with all of your progresses, can't wait to order the game when it comes out! ❤❤
I find it so cool you can look into the neighbours houses an see what they're doing.
You all should add the ability to play music from computers, tvs and cellphones, as that is what we can do in modern times. Incentives to buy speakers or other electronics could depend on the quality of the sound that comes out of them. If possible I would love you all to also explore AI generated conversations so that instead of picking a category to type we can type these conversations and AI will react to them an auto generate answers to them. Really awesome to see where it is currently, it is looking good!
Dont forget music from cars too! Need lots of radios. I hope MP3 players make a comeback in the game like sims 2 your character can take it with them to listen to different radios, podcasts, while exercising or walking around.
I love all the comments on bugs. It’s so honest and funny to see all the silly issues of game development. Can’t wait to see all the updates being worked on. I screamed when I saw poutine on the menu though. The greatest dish created is in game. It’s the only thing my characters are ever eating.
It would be kind of fun if youmans became displeased or something after eating the same thing too many times lol
Don't let the the negative comments affect you guys. I'm very excited for this game and seeing as this is still in development and will become better over time, it's impressive that you have managed to make it as interactive and in-depth as it is! Love the Rod Humble welcome package! Takes me way back!
Some minor criticism. Obviously the game isn't finished yet, but a few things to keep in mind. The bloom is a bit intense. Also, your system for occluding objects between the camera and the avatar could use some work. There were several times where you needed to fight with the camera to get a good view of the avatar. It would be beneficial to maybe make the objects go transparent or hidden entirely.
I think the entire lighting/shading needs to be reworked. The brights are too bright and the shadows too hard. The impression I have is that they started with the environments first and the lighting does indeed looks great for the trees and plants, but once the houses, objects and people were added that it started looking weird. I'm honestly very optimistic with the game, I'm sure they will rework he UI, body proportions and shading until launch as the graphics are often the last things to be finalised before launch and they haven't even finished the animations yet. Other than those pet-peeves, the gameplay looks very promising.
@@laser__unicorn The gameplay does look good. I wouldn't even mention the interface. It is so clearly unfinished that they definitely are going to replace it with more polish UI. But yes I agree the lighting system seems to be not set up properly. A lot of that has to do with the bloom. It is just way too high. But there are some other minor issues that they will need to iron out.
@@jaybee4288 I think lighting would help immensely. The "graphics" are mostly lighting. The texture quality looks fine and the model work well not amazing isn't terrible. A lot of the strange look to it has to do with poor lighting implementation. Of course that isn't everything, I think they could add quite a bit of depth to their textures by using more bump mapping and a lot of the animations require more work, but that will come with time.
Ugh I had objects fading
There's an annotation saying they're working on lighting at 8:46
Now I kind of want to make a parking lot. Or even a parking garage. Or if possible, to go really extravagant, an underground parking garage!
Basically somewhere to put the car that isn't in the street. I would honestly have fun if I had to manage traffic a little on a town scale. Add bus stops, add parking spaces. I would just go all in on bus stops, I think.
Also it is fun to see the game is such a, well, rough shape. It clearly has potential and it's clearly not there yet. But that's what Early Access is for! And yes, the purple censors are hilarious in this video.
Custom bus stops is something I never expected but it's very welcome. Nice one guys and gals.
I hope Rob will continue to share gameplay videos like this
This might be weird but I actually fell asleep to his commentary. It's like ASMR. very relaxing
OMG THEY PARKED THE CAR?? That was so cool!
He causally mentions the most amazing features
Also I know the feet were hidden for development reasons (which I agree with doing) but I like to think they’re behind a pay wall for feet fans
I love you Rob! The sims 1,2 and 3 were my favorites, I lost hope because EA had ruined the franchise in my opinion. Thank you for taking your talents to a new game and giving me hope. The game looks amazing to me 🤩
So I noticed she went to the kitchen sink to wash her hands, but I think it's because there didn't seem to be a sink in the bathroom or at least I couldn't tell if there was! Thank you Rod for playing so we can see how it plays and admitting when there was a bit of a bug, instead of that other game who ignores it, while doing a live stream!
I was amazed that your character was able to talk to someone, without 2 or 3 strangers coming up to join, that was a nice change!
It does seem pretty realistic when you order something and it's delivered by someone in a fan, like Amazon or something, lol!
But only real disappointment, was that we can't open the car door to get into the cars, I was hoping that we could, but I can get passed that!
I am so much more interested in this game, then the new pack for TS4, I think I will use that $40 instead towards pre-ordering this game instead, it's more worth it!
I love that right from the start we can get them a car, a job and house, even decide how much or how little money they have, all from where we make our characters! Plus I love that food and drinks have real names, not made up ones and it allows them to drink alcohol, not fruit juice! I hope that means we will have also soda pop, maybe even energy drinks, and other drinks for them! Also snacks like chips and donuts would be great!
I hope that we will eventually get pets, and I mean normal pets too, at least to start with, just cats and dogs, and some pets in cages or tanks, like fish, hamsters, and lizards, plus birds! I really don't need horses in the game right now, since most people don't own horses, lol! TS4 apparently think it's more normal for people to have horses, rather then CARS!
Also when that package was first delivered, it made me think of when we would get that special delivery from Rod in TS2, when we would get that new computer for free, with The Sims 3 on it, lol!
I love the end of the day summary!
I need more rod humble video ❤️ Its like ASMR, so comforting and calming!!

Gotta say I really love seeing how many tools the game is giving players. One of my main issues with Sims 4 is that there is so little replayability because you have very limited ways of editing the towns and the people in them. Plus, I've come to really enjoy the overall vibe of the game. From what we've seen, everything comes together to make a really chill atmosphere. Definitely looking forward to checking it out later this year!
The game looks awesome already. 😊 But one thing i would love, garage at your home! Where you could park your car if you want. A driveway or something similar. So you could choose to park at the street or your driveway
This^!!!!
This is great omg! Thank you for the sample gameplay! No driving after drinking, so great! Love how you do certain things and say don't tell, so funny lol! Thank you Rod! ❤Love it!
I have to say that I really enjoyed the video. And I loved the censorship made by Rocio. 🤣
Keep it up. And since I really want this game to work well, I'll give you more detailed feedback later. 😄
I'm dying with that car parking on the beach n that bus! OMG!!! 😍.... I'm a The Sims 4 player btw, so you guys will understand why im so surprised...
It feels sensational.
I like the conversation camera view, the avatars don't look so blury. It should be the default view while playing the game.
I’m so glad u did gameplay i been wanting to play and watch you all play.
I enjoyed watching this, y’all should show us more while playing.
I just enjoy the commentary feels very, idk like is just like we be chilling.
I like how there’s plenty to do. I could just imagine what will happen after months on.
Need an Uber type of service so they and thier friends can go out and drink! 😊
This looks so cool. I get super excited everytime you guys post! Also i love the world with all the nature and trees ❤ can't wait to explore it all!
The fact you guys make and put out these videos where it’s just someone who clearly enjoys their own game vibing in it is the exact opposite thing to what the ‘other’ life simulator would never do and is infinitely worse off for it.
These videos show a genuine love of the game. And it really makes it feel like this is going to turn out great.
awww the little details, that's something that keeps me playing.. Loving the conversations imagine talking to a powerfull IA we can have endless conversations with the humans in our city, walking to the cars... that was funny love it, hope to see more of these details and things that make the game unique. Thank you!
Yeah, the inevitable ChatGPT Addon in Steam Workshop will be wild. 🤩
Feed every fact about the characters in the discussion and their relations in the prompt and they would just talk and behave like humans. 🤯 Probably have to use your own API-Key due to the high costs.
THE TREE IDK WHY THE TREE MADE ME HAPPY
So excited to play. A solid base game can do wonders!
Omg I'm speechless. I mean, I knew you were gonna step up but never expected so much gameplay, I can't believe it! The parking, the knitting blew my mind. All I can think of is what are you not showing already omg I'm so excited!!
September can’t come any quicker! I’m so excited 🥹
I’m so excited for this game. Thanks for sharing this video with us Rod.
Absolutely love the gameplay and I hope to see more, because watching the cars and the humans walking around and driving around was amazing.. That's something I'm looking forward to just seeing the town come alive.
LOVE this. I am so excited for this game I can't even tell you. Some highlights for me. Delivery drivers, roadside parking, buses, alcohol, being able to move objects during play, inventory system. I could go on and on. Such a full looking life sim experience and it's not even at early access stage yet! Well done guys 😊
One thing I'd love to see though, online shopping (or any Internet related activity) having a user interface that looks like a web browser (houseflipper and gta5 do this). I was also a bit concerned that ordering from a restaurant seemed to include no interaction with restaurant staff. The plate appeared instantly, no waiter or cook. But it's early days and I imagine lots are designed to have base level function with or without staff?
