Wow what an amazing view we had on Chris's drive for hole 11. That overhead drone view with the disc visible for the whole flight was amazing. Really shows us how the hole sets up to be played and how well it was executed.
Those drone shots were absolutely awesome. It can be hard to truly appreciate distance when watching a video, and the overhead view did a great job of truly showing the distance. This coverage has been absolutely amazing so far, keep it up!

By next season, can this be what we see at every event? These are all amazing additions (also, the form reviews by Idio, more of those). They need to be the new normal. HOWEVER - Still waiting for a "hole average for the round" graphic during the hole preview. Have been asking for that all season.
Going on a disc golf day trip tomorrow with some friends, then watching round 2 after when I get home. Its gonna be a good day! Jomez really stepped up their game for worlds. All the new stuff is incredible!
They always say you can’t win in round 1, but you can definitely lose in round 1. Props to Chris and Paul and Gregg for putting themselves in positions where they have a shot the next 4 days
Don’t count mason ford out. I’m not saying he’s going to win but he’s only like 6 back, and with 4 rounds left, anything can happen if you play consistently good golf

I happened to stumble across McBeth practicing about an hour before his round in a field next to Country Club. Watched him for about 10 minutes just throwing his entire bag. Methodical. Like a machine. The whole bag in 10 minutes, twice. I'm not surprised he's in the running.
I think true sports geniuses know that it's a long game. Esp tournaments. There's no reason to get high or low after any hole. Feel any emotion of swagger or pitty. Just keep playing the game you know and planned out

to me it seemed like Chris played out of his mind for 17 holes, but with Paul it seemed so casual, like he could easily do it 4 more times. Gonna be a great event for sure
Paul struggled on the first 9 and Chris struggled on the back 9. They both looked casual and composed. Chris missed his putts on 17 and 18 along with a risky but unfortunate OB on 18. Otherwise, Chris would would have been -13.

I feel like Paul always plays a conservative solid round day one to gauge the field the turns on McBeast mode. From all the disc golf I have watched he is more dangerous playing from behind than with the lead. That’s just watching him of course the BigSexyBarri knows best playing against him for years!

I really like the overhead shots but I think it should be a past-shot view like the replays and follow flights are since they can be a little hard to see depending on the disc color and if trees are in the way or such
I love the energy that Bushnell is bringing to this sport! The new "Running it" segment was a smart, fun concept and addition to the edit and I think will be big hit, I hope!
Yeah, I hope they keep that for future events. It’s more fun watching aces than hearing about them. Of course, that means paying for more equipment and crew.
@@erakfishfishfish This year DGN in their live coverage has designated cameras at aceable holes which was this hole yesterday so I'm guessing they just used that footage because it looked the same as what I already saw on live. Tomorrow the ace hole is 16 and its gonna be a great compilation!

Jeez, Mcbeth missed so many putts this round, especially early. He had more scoring opportunities than the rest of the field, so watch out when he starts firing on all cylinders.
I first met Mason about 6 years ago on his home course. Not a short course, half the holes between 430-550'. He was playing the course with a stack of Aviars. No bag.
I watched the F9 before i went frolfing at OG this morning and i was amped. I was thinking i was gonna have a great game cause my warm up putting was amazing, hitting everything. Then, when I got to the course, my car broke down. I decided to play first, then call the tow truck driver, still having hope i was going to have a good game, trying not to let my car breaking down get to me. Needless to say, the game went horrible. Finished +6. Called roadside assistance after, and my buddy and I went to the ralphs close by the course, got some sanwiches, drinks(beers) and chips, and had a nice picnic on one of the many tables at OG park while waiting. I could look at this like, ugh, f***ing car broke, had a sh***y game, and now I have to pay to get my car fixed, but one of the many things I have learned from disc is, you cant sweat the small stuff. Still had a great f*** ing time, had some nice shots, almost had an ace, and got to have a nice lunch with a good friend in a beautiful park. Anyways, if you made it to the end of my story, who you got taking home the crown?? Im rooting for paul, ricky, and greg.
@@vtmike13 maybe it'll be a blessing in disguise. He has be more craftier. You see it a lot with pitchers. They throw hard and rely on the fastball too much. They get tommy john and lose velocity so they have to find other ways to get batters out.
@@danday9697 watching that practice round he did on Jomez made me believe he can still do it without his forehand. He seems really dialed in with his backhand. I think he'll be in the running the whole way through worlds
I'm wondering if we will have the same music throughout all 5 rounds or if it will steadily pick up pace/get more epic 🤔... would be cool to have it get progressively more intense as we near the end. Excellent music regardless!
