    I love my Pure Aero 100. I have quite a few different racquet brands and models, but striking a ball with the Pure Aero creates a very unique sound. I can hear your 98 doing it in the video. I actually find it quite satisfying.

    Should I switch from my Gravity Pro to Aero 98? I feel like a bit more easy spin and pop might be a good changeup.

    • @ZeroLoveTennis
      @ZeroLoveTennis  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I prefer it. So much effort goes into generating a lot of spin with the gravity pro that the PA98 can get with half the effort. I actually really like the balance of play in the 98. I find stringing around 52-56 is about right. Trying 49 with 16g strings right now and it's a bit too powerful.
      I'm obviously a fan but I really tried to like the Gravity. Just couldn't beat this for me

    • @ZeroLoveTennis
      @ZeroLoveTennis  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! Pressureless, actually. BUT it's a very high end ball that feels about as fresh as a very lightly used can of nice new balls. Like for months and months and months it feels like Day old Wilson US opens. Honestly maybe a little better. These are crazy nice. I like them a little more than the Wilson Trinity.

      This is made my Spinshot. They might change names soon but I'm not allowed to say much. Either way, they will continue making balls but the spinshot one is top tier pressureless and there are so many kinds of shots where you really can't tell a difference. Only on the absolute hardest of hit balls can you maybe tell it feels a little different. They often sound a little different but that doesn't bother me. Bothers some. Feel matters so much more to me and these are super realistic.

      I'd say it's great but if you have a really different swing style on the other side, it might not work in favor of it as much. It could just be an adjustment thing
      Heavy spin and through the court in the same shot is what this one does so well. But you can flatten out a bit or go even more brushy. Pretty versatile.

    Great strokes and racquet, but were you disappointed in the Slinger ? I found it to be a 1 trick pony topspin and then you have more topspin , I don't like setting it on child speed to be useful nor do I like having to set it 10ft from me ......just curious

    • @ZeroLoveTennis
      @ZeroLoveTennis  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know exactly what you mean. I don't really feel that way even though that's kinda true. I get plenty of value just from being fed a basic and repetitive ball. If I can vary the height of the ball and pick the positions I'm hitting from, that's already so much to work with.
      So you're not wrong, the balls are kind of silly at higher speeds. But I still it still has a lot of value. Keeping my eyes out for something better and competitive in price though. Tried a few, still come back to this somehow 😅

    • @rolsguitars
      @rolsguitars ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @time410s get a silent partner edge you can find them used at a decent price , I should have never sold mine ......I thought I'd give the slinger a try , it's a great idea and extremely portable luv having a machine in a tennis bag .....now if it only had 2 throwing wheels ......

    • @ZeroLoveTennis
      @ZeroLoveTennis  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's pretty interesting. I see that deisgn often with many competitors. One downside is you need an additional storage item to hold the balls when these are in their portable mode whereas the slinger is all in one.
      There is another company making what might essentially be a way better slinger bag. But it's a little ways out.

      The more you use it, the more it is worth it. I'd certainly prefer to hae a Slinger than nothing. At least it's something to feed balls, you can practice a lot with that.

    • @ZeroLoveTennis
      @ZeroLoveTennis  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It might have been called a ball machine at one point but either way it is now called a launcher. You can "launch" it from the baseline but the topspin is super strong. Like kick serve levels.
      It's good to have such a tool though just know what it might be like to use.
      You can see a video where I compare this one to a much nicer and more expensive one but I clearly think both are worth the cost.

      I would push someone to the PA98 because I think it's more balanced and performs very well in the ways a prostaff might. Also the handle is longer if you want to comfortably hit with 2 hands. ProStaffs are so short. 97L also would be balanced a little oddly for my personal taste and I don't think the PA98 is that hard to use, actually.

      Hello! I prefer the 98 because it's a bit more forgiving, feel wise. It's a more well rounded racquet and I'm not sure it actually gets any less spin. A little less power but still a lot and pretty good control and touch. I think it's a better racquet but I'm sure for some, one will be better than the other. Highly personal but that's my two cents.

    • @ZeroLoveTennis
      @ZeroLoveTennis  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hilariously enough I stopped hitting backhands and have 2 forehands now. Backhands...you want to be good about transferring weight forward and extending through the shot. Try to keep both wrists loose and like they are moving together instead of fighting each other.
      Those tips should help with the backhand a lot.
      I always wished my backhand was more forehand like though so here I am playing ambidextrously now. You can see my recent videos to see more on that.
