~~~~~~Server Information~~~~~
To join my Minecraft server, head to my Twitch channel and type !server for the login information. You must be subscribed on Twitch to join, and have a Discord account. This is so we can moderate and manage the server due to demand. The server is open 24/7 and has a survival world, as well as a museum of every past build we've done on the channel.
New Earth Build Rules:
-No obnoxious floating text. No obnoxiously tall buildings.
-Respect the coastline and borders. Islands, continents and countries should retain their shape.
-Build the best you can. Low effort and unfinished constructions will be removed.
-Your building cannot just be a flag.
-No contemporary politics.
-No depictions of war, recent mass tragedy, racism or discrimination or hate symbols of any kind.
-Railways must be at ground level. Railways in the air are considered low effort and too tall. We recommend an underground metro instead.
-No pixel art. We find that this obscures other builds, and we plan to provide a space later.
~~~~~~~~Extra Things~~~~~~~~
Special thanks to Nitrous Networks for hosting our Minecraft server. See their site for quality server hosting across a variety of games: nitrous-networ...

Fun Fact! That green power ranger is there because Power Rangers is actually filmed in New Zealand!
Is it? I know that it had kiwi actors in a number of seasons, at least. Though it's worth noting that for at least the early seasons (and probably to this day, actually) most if not all of the footage of the characters in costume is actually licensed from Japanese super sentai shows and just dubed over. Massively reduces the special effects budget (in many cases different seasons of Power Rangers used footage from Entirely different shows. The colour coding is mostly a genre convention, like how anime hair colours Usually match personality types/traits.)
@@laurencefraser I'm pretty sure all the stuff where they're not in uniform is filmed in Auckland with the rest being filmed in Japan
@@laurencefraser Yeah I know all about the process of turning Sentai into Ranger footage. 12 of the 22 seasons of Power Rangers have been filmed in New Zealand. Disney moved filming there once they acquired the license in the early 2000’s and it’s been filmed there ever since.
also the hobbit is filmed in new zealand forests and lands!

Here's a fun little fact, a woman from New Zealand flew to Kazakhstan and got detained, as they refused her NZ passport, certain that we were a state in Australia.
Continuation of this fun fact: The customs officers would show her a map without New Zealand on it to claim that it didn't exist and she was lying about being from there. It was later revealed that this was a ploy by the officers to receive a bribe
This doesn't sound like a very fun fact...

@@diggydiggyhole-fan it’s slowly improving though, which is fantastic to see
I'm a New Zealander and boy am I excited to watch this! Editing as I go for reactions:
1) Echidnas don't live in New Zealand haha
The only native mammals in NZ are bats. Other than that it's just birds. Since the Māori and English arrived we've got possums, rabbits, mice, rats, stoats and weasels (all of which are pests), deer, goats and pigs (Which are kind of pests, but hunting keeps them in check)
2) Yeah we have a lot of sheep. Lots of farming in NZ. Dairy is pretty big too, but has nothing on the sheep farming.
3) The flightless birds build someone did with armour stands is really cute! Didn't see a Kākapo there though. And if we're counting extinct birds, there were a number of species of Moa which are also flightless. They had a similar body shape to Ostriches and Emus. Long legs, long neck. And the heights of the species ranged from something about the size of a turkey to over 3 metres tall!
4) Yeah we call McD's "Maccas".
5) Okay, I didn't know the tree church was a thing
6) Fun fact about the Moa; there are rumors that there may still be a couple alive in fiordland somewhere. Mind you we also have rumors of moose in fiordland and big cats (as in panthers and such) in canterbury (which has since been debunked - someone shot one and it turned out to just be a REALLY big feral cat)
7) Wharenui (Pronounced kinda like "Fah-re-noo-ee" with a rolled r) is a traditional Māori building. On a Marae (Pronounced like "Ma-righ" (with a rolled r as well)) it serves like a meeting hall or place of gathering. The person who built it did a really good job and as someone who is Māori, I love that they put in all the info about Wharenui for others to see :D
The clock tower they built is a real structure, and yes it is on a lean. It's not that big and you can't go inside it but it definitely stands out!
I thought the kea was also flightless but then I checked google and I was wrong

@@WAMTAT we actually had a proper one as well, which should have been very good for what it was, except by the time it reached the point where a decision on putting it into production or not would have to be made the situation had changed such that being able to build our own (very important when the Japanese controlled much of the pacific and might have eventually got around to invading us) was substantially less important than having vehicles that were interchangable, in whole and in part, with those of our allies (Japan had been pushed back in the pacific and most of our troops who were actually fighting were in the Mediterranean theater)

When all the borders are open, someone should build a giant Jormungandr (the world serpent) across the entire map
as someone who lives in new zealand, i can confirm that there are many eyes of sauron watching over us
I love these New Earth build streams they are so wholesome and they really help teach history and facts about different places in the world. It really helps educate people about their own planet and that there are more people than you see.
I’m hoping someone builds the house from New Zealand in hitman 2
The intro level?
@@somerandomgamer8504 yees
I was so happy when I saw that there was a whole NZ level But it was just a tiny house/intro level so that really disappointed me, cause now I know they'll never do another NZ one.
@@smiIeyface Well, the World of Assassination trilogy is over, so yeah, chances are out the window probably.

when he pronounced gallipoli "galleeepoleee" I had a stroke
His pronounciation in this video is so funny

@@translocated wait how do americans say it
I only know how to say it because I listen to sabaton
@@translocated No there is maori words that he pronounced weirdly but Gallipoli is not pronounced like he said it
If New Zealand were like this, we’d be on at least *one* more map!
What I love about RT's build streams is that they are so entertaining to watch but I also always learn something new. Good job to everyone that builds.
oh another cool thing about mcdonalds in new zealand is that there’s one place that has an old dc-3 plane with seats inside to sit in and eat

@@stuff31 with all the conquest, I think they've earned a little underrepresentation.
They've been mentioned somewhere in the history of almost all of these other builds.
@@quantumblauthor7300 how can i be blamed for a thing that happened when I was -180 years old?
I've identified RT's energy as that of a cool, older cousin who shows and plays cool games with you.
4:08 Good to see New Zealand's national treasure being represented. Was almost afraid it wouldn't be there
Some fun facts about new Zealand;
-Technically, your statement about old Zealand being underground is semi true. Millions of years ago; Zealandia was a continent that broke off from Gondwanaland. Eventually, it was submerged. New Zealand is the largest part of Zealandia that is above sea level.
-We had a vote to change our flag from the union jack. One of the entries was a kiwi bird shooting lasers out of it's eyes.
-We have a small town called ''Bulls' it's well known for it's puns. ( e.g their police station is called 'Const-a-bull')
