So I realised that the reason I could never get this riff smooth is because I added an extra note on the open g string which has thrown everything off kilter. Listening to kelly play live today it’s clear as you say that he just plays it twice and pulls off. Been annoying me for years this. Thanks again Steve. Easy when you know how I suppose 🙄
@@SteveLittleRiffs I have always added that extra note ie the open d after the hammer-on and pull off of the g so it could never ever be smooth. I just explained it to my gf and she gave me a vacant look but I feel like a Mong as this is clearly why I cannot keep they rhythm to this song. Very annoying but due to not listening to the track and persevering in what I thought I should be playing. Hey hi what’s twenty years…. Thanks again.
