Thank you so much for giving this game a whole review, it is criminally underrated. The devs had planned more content for Going Under, but unfortunately the game didn't make as much money as they were hoping, so they had to move on to their next project. And that really stinks, they had a whole nother dungeon they wanted to add. That being said, I am very excited to see their next project, whatever it may be
Damn I just got it sucks to hear. It’s very derivative of Isaac (in a good way) scratches the same itch for me and I’ve been loving it. This and hades are the only rouge games that have pulled me away from Isaac and ftl

This game is great cause almost every time you die there’s new dialogue waiting for you in the office and from the shopkeepers in the dungeons. This game has so much love in it it’s great

The game is so ridiculously relatable for someone doing a college course on IT that its fucking scary
I'm not usually a fan of rouge-likes/lites, but I bought Going Under after watching your video a while ago. After the Cult of the Lamb Demo left me thirsting for another rouge-lite to play, I decided to cave and finally play Going Under, and low and behold, now I can't put it down!
"Oh a new yakko video? Well maybe this time I won't spend any money on a new game."

I know that feeling. There nothing better than having many hours in this game. I have like 60 or so hours in it. I love it.
I still remember the first time I saw this game back it was still in development. It was pretty good from the short snippets I got from Twitter. And then there was a single post that made me fall in love with this game:
When you clip the camera to a wall facing Jackie, it reveals a smiling brain inside her head.
And there I knew I would love this game when I can buy it. Thanks for talking it about it, Yakko!

Ive recently started playing Goin Under and its super fun. I really appreciate that the dungeons are separate areas so I dont need to do all dungeons at once and choose which ones I wanna do.
Also another great rougelike people need to play is Monolith super underrated game.

I love this game. Probably my second-favorite roguelike, after Enter the Gungeon. Also, you gotta admit that Jackie Fiasco is one of the greatest protagonist names of all time.

also funny thing I found is that if you can get the camera to clip through Jackie's head, instead of finding nothing, you can see her brain, and even though she's smiling on the outside, she's depressed on the inside.

It's here I will remind everyone that unpaid internships are illegal if you're not the primary beneficiary. I worked as an intern for the company where I'm employed full-time, and there were three things going for it that made me go ahead with it:
1. It was a college credit to finish school
2. It was paid
3. They gave me a full-time job at the end of the internship
If they're offering one of these things it's worthwhile. If they don't give you any of these things they won't give you anything else, either. You'd be better off as a janitor than an unpaid intern (especially if you join a union).

I have been wanting to play hades but I’m a broke boy and can not buy a big boy computer, so I watched this and went straight to the Xbox game store and saw this game was available on console, I can’t wait to play and watching this video just has me incredibly excited, I love the videos and I can’t wait to be immersed in this rougelike. I had fun with deadcells but there was no drive as there was no real goal besides completion , but now a rougelike with a fun story and game play just again has me pumped. Loved the video man and just plz keep making content, u bring me joy 🥲💖

I remember seeing some gameplay of Going Under ages ago and it was on my mind again recently. Now i need to play it!
I'm stuck on the 4th dungeon but also I love the little outfits you unlock ever since the homeoffice update, I'm in love with that game's sense of humor and characters and gaemplay, and even tho I'm terrible at the previously mentioned 4th dungeon, i love how the song for the boss is called "Trustfall" since that's the move they keep doing and how it has thematic irony for the story.
Im so happy someone talks about this. I love it and its one of the few games I bought instantly.
