He speaking facts. When I went to prison nobody sent me money and i never asked for money, and nobody really tried to keep in contact with me. But when I came home it was all fake love from them. If you got friends or loved ones in there at the minimum pick up a phone call from them, you don't know how much that means to someone behind the wall.

It’s not fake love. Expecting people who got they own shit going on to stop and make sure you good is selfish af. Life continues when you go to jail. The only people you should expect something from is ya family. Remember you went to jail cause YOU got caught. I’ve put money and phones on way too much and I just told my man’s if he get locked up I’ll be here when you get out
@eazythetruth shit my mom didn't even come to my court dates when I went to prison. I got sent to prison in a whole other state. I wasn't gonna ask her to come out there or anything since it was so far. But yeah besides her it was only my pops, and a couple girls that held me down once in a while

Unfortunately when you’re 18 and all the guys are telling eachother they’ll die for eachother and they’ll hold it down if you go to prison you all believe the shit until reality hits and it never happens. I tell my students this shit all the time . I remember I finally made it half way out the streets and went to college . I was dating a girl from my school and we were back in chicago on summer break . She noticed I was looking in my passenger mirror and rear view mirror every 20 -30 seconds . She asked what was wrong with me . I never even realized I was doing it because it was a habit . PTSD does bother me escape . I don’t even take out the garbage without my gun and I haven’t been in the streets in a decade . I tell my students to leave that shit alone but the music glorifies it so much it’s like a craving for them
