🇮🇳One major difference between Republic day and Independence day = On Independence day, the PM hoists the tricolor at the Red Fort in Delhi, where the flag is tied at the base and pulled upward representing a free and independent nation.
On the other hand, Republic Day celebrates the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1950 ,Unlike Independence Day, the President unfurls the flag at Kartavya Path, New Delhi, where the flag already at the top , marking the constitutional journey of the nation. and at last with The Beating Retreat Ceremony, held on 29th January, officially concludes Republic Day celebrations...
