- Doctor Nandipha Magudumana's bail hearing will continue in the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court *this morning. Last week, Magudumana's lawyer Frans Dlamini said the state's strong opposition to her bail application was not in the interest of justice. Magudumana faces charges of fraud, corruption and assisting an inmate to escape from prison. Earlier this year, she was arrested in Tanzania with her boyfriend, convicted rapist and murderer, Thabo Bester, who escaped from the Mangaung Correctional Centre in May last year. The state is opposing bail.

For information, She remains a doctor , the only hitch is that she cannot practice if she does not pay yearly registration. This is the same position of Advocate Teffo. He remain a lawyer , the only hitch is tha he cannot represent clients in courts of law until his bar is uplifted.He can work as a legal advisor or company secretary or any legal capacity. Registration and qualifications are different things. Non registration does not rubbish or cancel the degrees.

1. Meyiwa matter is in Pretoria and Magudumas is in Bloemfontein.
2. Meyiwas matter is in High Court whereas Nandiphas matter is in Magistrate's Court.
See the difference? Or I should explain further how do they differ?

Registration is a yearly certificate allowing one to practice as a doctor. This does not take away her certificate. The moment she pays the yearly registration she then legally practice.A doctor remains a doctor with or without registration. She does a Doctor until her grave even is she does not to practice. No one can tear her certificate . The same with Lawyers. The registration is only a certificate authorising one to practice in courts of law.

None of his arguments have done that so far. He trying to keep a lot of information for trial court but he is not helping his client now when she needs bail. I mean the guy can’t even oppose the fact that his client was found in a foreign country without her passports being stamped.
