We are Ugly Bags Of Mostly Water! Coming to you live and direct from Canada! Yes! We managed 59/65 this week. We are SO close to getting 60+ on a 60-65 total (did this on a 70 a couple of times) so will keep on plugging away! You asked if the Connections Round was too easy. Frankly most of them we find the first four are a good challenge, but the 5th question is often from out of left-field as the connector. We rather like the 1 point vs. 2 point graded questions, and for those if you want to make a harder 2 point that would be interesting. Maybe a 3rd super hard question for 3 points?? Its all good! Good morning Dale. I hope that you and the family had a top Easter. J.K from Canberra finally submitting his score for this one. Yet again, I've somehow managed to top out a score of 51. Hopefully next week will be better with an extra hour sleep thanks to the end of Daylight Saving, but time will tell. I hope all went ok at the casino, but if the prices for food and beer in your casinos there are anything like the ones here, you'll have gotten absolutely ripped off with the price of a pint. There's a few variables in this week's tiebreaker, but I'll average it out a bit and hope that the pint you brought didn't cost more than my guess of £7.50
On this quiz I got 50 correct. I got all the food and drink questions in that round. In the connections round I got the four questions right but I thought the connection was spiders. My reasoning is spiders can build their webs in bushes. Ron Weasley was deathly afraid of spiders. Charlotte was the name of the spider in the book Charlotte's web and there was a pig in Charlotte's Web as well. Just something I noticed: in the Entertainment round question 5 that is the musician The Weeknd's real name not his stage name. As for the bonus I'm thinking the casino is going to cost £12.50/pint. Also I won't mind seeing a bit tougher connections round every now and then.

“We’re Still Good” got 53 this week, not our best score but not bad. We were on the verge of giving up on that connections round but we got there.

Yet again, I've somehow managed to top out a score of 51. Hopefully next week will be better with an extra hour sleep thanks to the end of Daylight Saving, but time will tell.
I hope all went ok at the casino, but if the prices for food and beer in your casinos there are anything like the ones here, you'll have gotten absolutely ripped off with the price of a pint. There's a few variables in this week's tiebreaker, but I'll average it out a bit and hope that the pint you brought didn't cost more than my guess of £7.50
On this quiz I got 50 correct. I got all the food and drink questions in that round. In the connections round I got the four questions right but I thought the connection was spiders. My reasoning is spiders can build their webs in bushes. Ron Weasley was deathly afraid of spiders. Charlotte was the name of the spider in the book Charlotte's web and there was a pig in Charlotte's Web as well. Just something I noticed: in the Entertainment round question 5 that is the musician The Weeknd's real name not his stage name. As for the bonus I'm thinking the casino is going to cost £12.50/pint. Also I won't mind seeing a bit tougher connections round every now and then.
