Other circus or carneval concepts I've seen are usually a lot brighter and really cheesy. But with Stray Kids and that bass with the beat make it a little on the darker side. And I love it!
Someone in twtter made this theory, and it makes total sense!!! "The first SKZ that appear are them and the industry, they're stuck in a routine making the same show over and over only to entertain people, the clones are them looking at each other doing the same show and they want to change that (like free them), if you notice in one shot when the clones and the originals find each other Felix throws a box of matches to Seungmin that says "Stays" then with those matches they blow the entire circus and at the end they all join to make a show finally following their own rules, like saying SKZ blew the "circus" (industry) thanks to them and us and they do whatever they want."

I love this song, it’s definitely fun! I also love the Afro Circus sample towards the end. My daughter literally jumped up out of her chair in excitement. She said when she heard the title, she was anticipating Stays making edits with Afro Circus as the intro…I said apparently they don’t have to, SKZ did it for them. BTW - BTOB Minhyuk (Huta) solo comeback on June 27.
normally I’m having trouble with picking a favourite Stray Kids song because they’re all so good, but circus might just have turned into my absolute fav. the sound is incredible and the melody so unique I love it
This has nothing to do with the song which I love by the way. But the mv was tripping me out because I thought there were two sets of them. One performing and then one watching from the side. And there were. But I kept thinking I was wrong and right throughout. Then finally at the end they came together as two. I’m not sure if this is storyline or if it’s just for the song but it’s so cool as a concept. Hyunjin killed me in this mv, his hair, the pinkish brown colour and the cut omg. THE BUN UP DO THING OMG SO GORGEOUS. I.N with that red and blue in his blonde looking like Harley Quinn. Felix was so trippy at first. Like I knew it was him but it didn’t sound like him. The hair would’ve thrown me off if I hadn’t seen the teasers already.
This is my take on the video. In this video, there are two groups of Stray Kids, at the end of the video, the two groups of Stray Kids performed together. It means, the only competition and threat of Stray Kids is Stray Kids. They are their own competition. That's how I see this video. I wish for more and more and more success for Stray Kids in Korea and the whole world.
