Is This Audience Member a Better Host Than James?!

- When James offers his audience a chance to ask him anything about the show, he gives one of his fans, Greg, a chance to deliver a line to the camera. Unfortunately for James, everyone agrees Greg is an absolute natural, including Lil Rel Howery.

Each week night, THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests, edgy musical acts, games and sketches. Corden differentiates his show by offering viewers a peek behind-the-scenes into the green room, bringing all of his guests out at once and lending his musical and acting talents to various sketches. Additionally, bandleader Reggie Watts and the house band provide original, improvised music throughout the show. Since Corden took the reigns as host in March 2015, he has quickly become known for generating buzzworthy viral videos, such as Carpool Karaoke." - บันเทิง

Me too 😂
I'm pretty sure I've seen that Greg Anderson before hmmm...
Love you all!
😁🤣🤣
Legendary
I literally love this comment lol! 😆
“how was your transition from audience member to host” killed me lol
Sounds like " I' ve been working hard and longer in time than you, but how'd you get promoted?"😂
haha LOL
RIP.
Really ...it's staged ....are you like 9?
@@ninabina259 literally everyone knew that, you are the only one 9 years old here or just naturally dumb.
That guy actually was pretty convincing at being nervous. I was almost convinced until they obviously took it further. Well done. lol
Wow, I knew the whole thing was a set up, from the start of the video !
He very well could have been nervous, even though it was staged.
Even when things are setups their funny asf
His real name is Louis Waymouth and he’s a writer for the show
I thought it was James Corden
Nice!
that makes sense
Ohhhh right!! Thanx pal!
Omg
When James retires someday this is how they should announce it
Oh shoot that’s a lot of likes
MorganAnne143 that is goood
Whenever he does, this is gonna be sad x) I'm French and it's such a pleasure to have someone like James or Stephen Colbert -- I know it's highly different though xD -- to watch!
When he does there'll be parties in the streets in England
I have more likes on here than people in my grandmas entire town...
That British guy is being very interruptive of the whole show.....
Greg showed a lot of patience letting him stay up there
Steven Friedman They’re both British.
@@kdmedia1534 this comment is impressive
L Thank you!
@@kdmedia1534 Cheers mate, you just made me lose faith in humanity
James Cordon trying to take over The Late Late show with Greg Anderson is pretty lame.
I would have called security on James right away.
This is acted man
@@omega0422 r/woooosh
James is just a fan, dont be so harsh on him if you got the chance to see the Greg Anderson you would freak out a little too
hey! lets be nice!! I think it was just his coping mechanism. But yeah it was a little rude how he kept interrupting Greg, unexcusable!
Yall it was an act how the hell could you believe this? 😂 Im r/whooooshing all of you
I love how people think they're clever by saying "This is staged" as if the show was actually trying to deceive people into thinking it's real lol
If there wasnt 1000 comments saying it was staged there would be 20000 comments from people thinking its real... its just a little bit sad that things like this happen.
Lot of people actually do think its real, read the comments
I wasn't fully sure until the guy in the back room (who hadn't been announced on the show yet, mind you) was talking to "greg"
ofcourse they were trying... and most people bought it.
@@mathiaspoulson you really think they were trying by the end? Because it was pretty obvious by the end that it was staged.
Edit: I mean obviously at the beginning they wanted people to buy it or there would be no humor in it but halfway through they made it very obvious
Woman has purple hair
James: yes, the lady with the cardigan...
LOL
Probably he didn't want the situation to be worse than it is for her pointing her hair 😄
He should've said:
James: "The big asian looking lady with the cardigan and the brown eyes" y'know, as to not insult her about her hair colour.
Why... is it insulting to point out that someone dyed their hair purple?
We live in dangerous times. It's hard to say what is offensive to whom. Someone is bound to be offended by referring to them by their cardigan.
Was it hard transitioning from a youtube watcher to a youtube commenter?
Yes
My first two comments
I think watching was harder
Gimmerstrike You know what, I think that’s a Great question actually. But to be honest, I think this is really easy and anyone could do it.
It's all in the wrist...
This would actually be a great way of introducing a new host when James eventually decide to quit.
It's time!
At first he seemed so natural, so I thought he was a real audience member, impressive acting haha
I'm starting to recognize your actors! 😂
lol same
right they just put a beard on him
These are the writers of the show
And he's talking without a microphone at the table...
its the shows writer not actor
If this was real, this would be AMAZING ! Damn it
Rigged as hell, but still really funny :D
@@Gigusx true, but hopefully he was an audience member and not a plant....and they only worked it out before the show.
Even if it was just done better...
It IS real.
That fella gotta host the late late late show of u know what I’m talking about
"JUST STAND THERE AND BE QUIET.
I'm trying to do my job. "
The first woman sounds exactly how joker did in his fantasy with murray ...
Holy fuck I went back and she does, how did you catch that?
I felt it
Bro even her voice is similar
Dude wth that's insane
It was an immediate feeling.
That guy was actually a great actor, I totally bought it for like the first two minutes. He genuinely seemed nervous. Lol then when they started fighting I knew it was fake ha ha! 😂
Edit: Wow I’ve never gotten this many likes before 😅 Thanks guys lol!
really? he's been in this skit since the first one lol
brimarieandfancy13: I think he is one of the writers and producers for the show
He used to be an actor before going to LA with James to be writer of the show I think. He's in one of the Black Mirror episodes, the one about the teddy bear politician...or something.
I knew he was acting from the second he spoke
It took you till they were fighting to realise it was staged? Wow
I thought it wasnt scripted bcoz the guy was stuttering at first 😁
That was what maked me think it _was_ scripted. Because he was pretending to seem nervous.
It is scripted, he works on the show
Iwan Edison yea I thought the same thing, they had me until he started to really take over 😆
It was scripted, if you watch enough eps, you will realise all the members
he also works at the show lol. Ive seen him in other skits before
When he took the sip he should have said "wow wodka" or something similar.
"this early?" Is always a good choice for these situations
I can hear the British accent
@@TheB0sss it's the late late show hun... it's in the name
You're hired
It's a bit too strong innit?
I swear, in the thumbnail, dude looks like Russel Brand with a hair cut!!!
Joshua Rogols yyyeeesss I thought the same thing!
Lol for real
Wow it's uncanny lmao
I ligeitmately thought it was Russel Brand
This would be an epic way to introduce a new host when James decides to retire, tho...
wow this idea is AMAZING
Hopefully sooner rather than later
I love how people still comment on how they figured out this is scripted 😂 what gave it away? The same guy being in every Q&A
If you have never watched it before, it is that he went from horrible to great way too quickly.
Yeah, initially it was still kinda believable, and if they'd stopped after he did that quick introduction, then I may have actually have believed it, but then they took it to silliness and broke that illusion. (I haven't seen very much of this show before)
Heisenberg
I love how people commenting about comments never find it ironic
His nerves were so natural it almost makes you wonder if he didn’t start acting till he looked at camera 2
Love how “Greg Anderson” is already miced up
Good investigative work there!
I would have bought this for another 30 seconds, except he put the mic down and was already miced up 😬😅
I wish people in the comments would realize that it is not supposed to look real. Of course it's fake, it's a commedy act and it is supposed to be obviously fake so people would laugh instead of wondering what's going on
- Adéla - waw you are so smart
jose perez Smarter than most.
- Adéla - I wish people in the comments didn’t have to explain the joke to us and feel superior doing so.
Nope
instantsurgery It’s hard not to explain when 90% of the comments are “So fake” or “I feel like this is scripted”. If it was a few people I wouldn’t bother but most of them didn’t really get that this is what James always does in segments like Q&A or Celebrity noses
Looks like the guy with the pale blue shirt asking a question at 4:06 is a brother of this Greg guy, their eyes looks the same.
I feel they should invite this guy more often. He was a great actor!!
He works there already
plot twist: he holds a writers strike and 3 weeks later.. this guy has his own late late show spin off thats more popular than corden.
This could have actually been thrown in to let james know who'd really in control.
Oh yeh that random audience member who’s in every Q&A
If you don't ask, you don't get.
ikr simple as that
can I have your house?

When James said common the laughter isn't fake, he should have said that's because im here now.
The late late show with a random dude
lol
Greg Andersen
His name is James Corden
Honestly that'd be a pretty hilarious concept obviously some screening would need to be done, but it could probably be pretty legit to just have random people host a talk show, different person every night, maybe a couple repeats for people who actually hit it off.
That is an actually great idea. I’d watch that!
This guy is the best actor the world has ever seen
Obviously staged but really funny. This guy kills it. 😂😂😂
It's supposed to be obvious...
Turtle_ Lover97 it's an American show with British humour, and some Americans are a bit slow...
I actually believed them for a minute there.
This feels like a Black Mirror episode
bonus points to them if they run the gag and have him do the welcome back after the commercial 😂
Barbados?
"Ok that's enough, just stand there and be quiet." He's killing it. Loll
LMAO
This was really believable at first... Like, Corden's reaction to the original question totally fooled me
😂😂😂very smooth transition from saying one line to “this is my show now”
Greg looks like David Tennant’s secret half brother
The idiot’s guide to being stupid With a mix of Russell Brand
Karla Kissiah-Teal
Very true
I think that Greg did a fantastic job letting this James dude be a host for a while! Think this James guy should have his own show!
Gave it away when his voice sounded perfectly clear even when he put the mic down 😂
This is super creative! This makes this show stick out from all the other late night shows! Who ever’s idea this was, did an amazing job!💯
At 1:25 I'm already starting to crack up staring at the guy in the back cuz I know he got the funniest question to ask🤣🤣
I love these parts of the show where they are just taking the piss with Corden. Absolutely hilarious xD
This is precisely why I love James show, everything is so natural, effortless and seamless!!
He should have called the security on James Cordon lol
@Geckobro1312 haha exactly, it would be really funny if the security came to escort james out of the stage lol
This guy NEEDS his own show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think that is an overstatement.
Clark Family FACTS
It is pretty much his own show already he’s a writer
this is hillarious im cryin rn

No wonder you always feel like you're at work.
Greg Anderson did a great job plus he already has a stage name.
He sold it for a little while.
James, you are so blooming funny. Great skit.
This is one of the best episodes I've ever seen 😂😂😂
Well, it appears James is worried he might be "as much use as a fart in a bottle".
Well first of all he works for the show, I've seen him before so he's not an audience member. But he is an extremely talented actor and comedian. If he was a better host than James Corden he would be the host. "Corden off the area" Funny bit! James Corden great acting as usual, James was sweating it! But we all know who's King of Late Night!
Who is the king of late night?
Is Conan O Brien late night?
I love Graham Norton too.
I like Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel but not consistently though.
James Corden makes me laugh my gut out and so do Conan O Brien.
Seth Meyers? Trevor Noah? Stephen Colbert?
Damn there's a lot of hosts.

Could you do more carpool karaoke pls and old bands and artists
Yeah, I want to see Greg do some carpool karaoke

This skit started with the first audience member's question. Great tho.
