Ni takes over and the one little detail reminds us of a simular thing years ago....than we check if that scenario back then is simular to the scenario now...if so what does it say about this scenarios in the here and now? We read between the lines on autopilot. Like the ENTP/ENFP's popcorn way of generating ideas. The infj's brain jumps as well...all over the place.
I love this because I'm an ENTP and I used to have an INFJ friend (used to have because he was a bit sensitive and I'm... well.. I'm a bit of a jerk; so we had different communication styles, or that's what I told him). And normally the INFJ-ENTP duo is represented by a female INFJ and a male ENTP, so this was refreshing.
I think I met an ENTP years ago (unfortunately didn't stay in touch) and he did like to poke at people a lot, but I never felt like he crossed the line (and often it seemed like others didn't really get that he was poking at all). Obviously ENTPs and INFJs come in different amounts of sensitivity, so it might not always work out. I especially feel like he was the only ENTP I've ever met, because that's the only time I've experienced the feeling that someone was able to read me too and we could both tell that we knew what was happening. I don't know if INFJs would experience that with other types, but I've heard of that being a thing between ENTPs and INFJs.

It's just a good wholesome dynamic. Usually. Intellectually speaking, both are sapiosexual. The ENTP is aggressive feminine energy, and the INFJ is passive masculine. I know that ENTPs are usually dudes, and INFJs dudettes. But that doesn't change the energies they typically give off. Both are weirdly androgenous. But I do think ENTPs and INFJs tend to lean in opposite ends. It's not easy mode for these two types to get along, but it's not hard. They aren't each other's shadow, but different/similar enough to be a great duo.
