I tend to feel depressed during the holidays. I think it's because we take stock in what we've done over the year and I never feel like I accomplish anything or have done anything. And people always try to point out all the good and you feel guilty for being a downer. So I can understand where you are coming from and am glad you can so eloquently express this to all of us on TH-cam. - Loren

Yes!!! Holidays can be so tough and so many people just act like we can "turn it off". Our brains are amazing but can be so toxic!!!! We all have the right to be heard and share our thoughts!!! Thanks for watching Loren!!!

I know a lot of people who have a rough time on Mother's Day and it's ok to grieve even if there are other reasons to smile. I also have extreme moments too where (as my therapist has made me aware) catastrophise the situation so I can relate. The washer jingle was awesome as well 🤣🤣🤣

Exactly!!! Its like we are programmed to feel guilty about our grief, but it's so normal to have!!!! Yes it's so easy to slide down that slippery slope and make things into more than they are!!! My washer is quite musical haha!!
