One reason I love the 28-400mm is when you’re out and about out in the wilderness, you never know what you will find. That kens, although not fast, has great flexibility. Thankyou for this excellent video. Merry Christmas
@@ken9576 Yeah, the versatility of the 28-400 would be handy in so many situations. With my old Nikon D7000, I had the 18-200 and it was really nice to have one lens to cover most everything I need to take photos of. But as you said, there always seem to be a few drawbacks. The balance we play as photographers! 😀 Thank you for sharing and have a fantastic day! 📸
Cool to see someone local making content :-) I'm mainly a reptile educator but am between Guilford county and the Raleigh area for wildlife photography all the time, even catching some bald eagles in the area around High Point.
@@IntrepidExotics That's awesome! I have seen a couple bald eagles in the area, but haven't managed to get a great photo of one in North Carolina. Have a fantastic day! 📸😀
Great tip on leveling with the ultra-wides! I always see amazing wildlife when I am out with my ultra wide - I am convinced my telephoto scares the wildlife away 🤣
@@BMadPhoto 😂 Right? I was driving on a country road yesterday and spotted a red tailed hawk on an electrical pole. I stopped my car, swapped lenses quickly and it flew off just as I got my camera turned on! I was like "noooooo" because I was so close to it! Maybe both have the right lens the next time we see wildlife! 📸😀
You win some and lose some, that’s photography for you! It’s often the case that when one finds an interesting location, one has to return many times in different weathers, time of day, seasons etc. Anyway I enjoyed the walk with you. Love your colour scheme! Greetings from 🇬🇧.
@@christianpetersen1782 Exactly! I love places close by that I can keep revisiting, whether it is finding new compositions, seeing it in different light/weather, or trying different equipment. Thank you so much for commenting! Have a fantastic day! 😀📸
Love your work but I would love to find out where you got that fanny pack I'm assuming that's what you use to store your camera and lens maybe you could do a video on your equipment especially the bag
@@tonynunez75 Thank you!! The fanny pack is from Peak Design and is the Everyday Sling and is one of 3 camera bags I use. The link below is of the video I did talking about the bag! It's perfect for when I am keeping my gear simple. 📸😀 "Keeping Things Simple With the Peak Design Everyday Sling Bag" th-cam.com/video/zWvNKsAiIc8/w-d-xo.html
You are an angel I cannot believe how fast you reply to me I know you must have a busy schedule and you must have hundreds of things to do but to take out 2 minutes to reply to me was very touching thank you again hope to see more of your videos thank you so much
That the dilemma, I’m always worried that I’ll see something amazing that needs a lens that I left home. Look on the bright side, if you brought the longer lens you probably wouldn’t have seen those deer😊
@wildbillgreen 😂 So true! They probably wouldn't have made themselves known if I had my 70-200 with me. It is definitely always something I gamble with when picking which lens or lenses to take with me! 😀📸
