'You Have A Beautiful Battery Inside' is a song and video featuring pupils of Our Lady Immaculate SNS in Darndale and St Francis SNS in Priorswood; and members of Sphere17, the Dales, the Voice of Darndale Choir and Coolock Running Club.

A big thank you to everyone in Darndale that I encountered during the filming for this video and the production of the song. The pupils and staff I worked with at Our Lady Immaculate SNS in Darndale, St Francis SNS in Priorswood, the fantastic folk at The Dales and members of Voices of Darndale Choir. You all so willingly took part in all my explorations sharing so many inspirational stories and experiences. It was a pleasure to create this piece of work with you. This song and video only exist because of your enthusiasm and energy and it is dedicated to each and every one of you. As always, much gratitude to the staff and young people of Sphere 17 in Darndale and Priorswood.

Creative Places Darndale is a three-year programme awarded to Sphere 17 for the area of Darndale in June 2021. The Arts Council’s Creative Places programme invests in places such as towns, villages, suburbs, and island communities that have had fewer opportunities to take part in the arts.
The purpose of Creative Places Darndale is to weave the arts into everyday life in Darndale. Over the course of three years, this will be achieved by:
Building on the variety of art forms that are already present in Darndale
Introducing the arts or different art forms where they are not present
Increasing participation in the arts by the people who live in Darndale
Leaving a legacy of participation in the arts in Darndale
