Joana has her own style and unique voice. She is great and will go far if she stays true to herself. I think she will do that. I love to listen to her and while Chamorro's previous vocalists are great,. it is not right to compare them head on, Joana is a great talent too! Sing on Joana!

Últimamente parece que se ha pasado decididamente al folk-country con su guitarrista Sánder Peña. Se veía venir ... Siempre he pensado que podría haber sido la nueva Norah Jones (bueno, todavía puede, que diablos), por voz, estilo, gusto y sentimiento. Sólo falta que algún avispado productor americano la descubra en youtube y se la lleve para allá a hacer las américas. Al tiempo ... 😉
Traver can play any style of guitar with such sensitivity, melody, harmony....lovely arrangement....this song is much more suited to Juana's voice than Jazz...she seems like a very nice kid....but i just dont get what Chamorro hears in her singing. Her voice is thin, expressionless, she maks mistakes in timing, and her phrasing is dull and not at all original......maybe there is no one else right now, but when compared to the 5 singers that went before, esp Motis and Payes, i dont get it.
I'll have to agree you don't get it. Here's a beautiful young girl singing her heart out on a beautiful song. God bless her and God bless Joan for giving her the stage.
