Coach you're a true Guru. You should upload a video on using your peripheral vision as opposed to tracking with direct line of sight. The way you see the ring and your opponent is truly a lesson in itself. Like what Roy Jones Jr used to do at times back in his prime.
Focus on the rifle, let the feet do the walking. Now... you`ve been saying this all along but the way you just put it it seems the 'DING DING DING" happened. cant wait to try it now . Thank you.
I have a question for you coach. do you feel this form is ideal for all fighters? the form I was drawn to is peek a boo mostly because I'm heavy short and have short arms it seemed ideal and feels natural. I prefer to wait for my opponent to try and hit me. if things go my way I'll anticipate the shot move and nail them. I dabble I'm not a pro or anything I just enjoy the art.
1950's ,60's, 70's, whatever. The main thing is boxing is boxing, the foundation in boxing never goes away. That's why you the guy with the basics stay in the game longer. With Good form, understanding the science, tuffness , stamina, etc A guy with half the talent, they usually knock the other guy out, that throw the true foundations out the window. I see it all the time.
@@luffydmonkey9400 if you're opponent is coming towards you and you shift and your opponent throws an over hand right what would you do. Also what do you think about boxing fouts theory's thoughts on the true boxing stance
@@eesarizwan110 if he is being aggressive and move towards u, then why the fuck being stupid to move into his power hand? Even ur instinct won’t do that?
He's a teacher, he's teaching. If he just starts shmovin on you without explaining, all you have learned is that you've been defeated. So he's giving you the knowledge, his job isn't to box for you, but you do all of the work. He's already done the work, the science, he's at the level he needs to be for you, now, it's your turn.
These coaching sessions are hidden gems. You get a lot of the smaller details you might not get from a universal technique video.

Think it was Teddy Atlas that once said “ You can’t learn it in one day but I can open your mind in one day”

One boxing historian would say that Coach Marvin is teaching pre 1950's old time boxing, they could move their legs while jabbing.

He made southpaw turn into a backwards true box stance 🤣🤣🤣 dude doesn't even realize it
Coach Marvin is your style similar to the philly shell withthe exception of the lead hand position?
Is there a style better than this one
Nope!

This guy does more talking than boxing 😂😂

That's how you teach not just start swinging at each other with no knowledge or understanding but explaining a future experience in detail
You listen to him and watch the other guy. That’s how you get both visual and auditory learning
