Chapter III, Sec. 21 of the Republic Act (RA) 4136, otherwise known as the “Land Transportation and Traffic Code” states that:. “Bonafide tourists and similar transients who are duly licensed to operate motor vehicles in their respective countries may be allowed to operate during but not after (90) days of their sojourn in the Philippines.”

As per law you are allowed to drive with an IDL in Saudi. But you will have a huge task to explain this to local police if they stop you. My advice is to not to drive with IDL in KSA...Arabic speaking kasi dito Sir at karamihan ay hindi sila makabasa ng English kaya magkatrouble ka talaga..Thanks

May idea po ba kayo sir kung papaano mgpa convert ng lisensya from foreign to local... hindi yong temporary lang... iexit na kasi ako eh.... gusto ko.magamit or ma convert yong lisensya ko for good na dun sa pinas... pano din po magpa translate nglisenya to english. Dto ako sa dammam ngayon.
