The beaches of Kenya and Tanzania fly under the radar a bit, but they shouldn’t, because they are really awesome.
If you search you can find hidden gems that keep you away for the crowds and let you have your very own tropical beach paradise all to yourself.
We visited two such spots, being Twiga Beach Camp in Southern Kenya and Barry’s Beach Lodge in Northern Tanzania.
Other spots that we visited but did not film were Malindi, notably Barefoot Beach Camp, Ocean Sports in Watamu, both in Kenya.
After a long time inland and in the bush, getting to the coast was really cool for us, especially Josh who loves the ocean.
